after collecting all pearls for fp as arti i decided to take an extended vacation in chimney canopy to practice killing scavs, and uh, the results sure are something

Trying to draw the curse but rain worldified (still figuring out a solid design)
#digital art#tropical's art#art#rain world#rw scavenger#rw scavenger oc#It's a scavenger in a symbiotic relationship with some sentient rot#It's not apart of any scavenger tribe#and is probably the only scavenger ever who has a negative reputation with its own kind (The curse gets hungry and eats its fellow scavenge#It doesn't really mind#And neither does the rot#The other scavs probably have a symbol for it#Like the opposite of The Chieftan#I was thinking it's symbol would be The Outlaw or the symbol the overseer uses to warn the player of a hostile creature#It's so silly and literally only eats scavengers#Probably functions as a morbid Merchant that would sell you scav skulls or body parts or something like a screwed up food vendor#I feel like being within the vicinity of the Curse will passively lower your scavenger rep#Which is really funny to me for some reason#Unless you try and kill it#In which your rep skyrockets idk#Though considering the rot attached to it#I would advise against aggroing#Oh and the scugcat there is irrelevant#Just trying out a design#But I didn't think it would match the curse#Plus there were already scugcats that are inflicted with the rot as ocs#So what about scavenger rot?#No idea how it came to be#Maybe it was Two Sided Coin trying to make a scavenger for fun and then they proceeded to screw up#Or maybe the curse is one of a kind
