I strive to draw her very chubby, creature, and old. A lot of the art here is somewhat inconsistent because I barely draw her, but I’m striving to portray her reference image (3rd image). and YES I do not ever draw her with a nose because she looks silly.

Edd is Filipino and British because he is awesome and. and I'm also Filipino so he makes me super happy geheehe. Grew up in the Philippines but moved to the UK later on. He speaks both Tagalog and English I love my bilingual king

Tord is mixed, Norwegian and Spanish YAEAGAH that's basically what Star and I came up with not too long ago. He grew up in Norway and is more fluent in Norwegian, and learned English in his teens. :-) He doesn't know much Spanish other than a few words.

Tom is British American because fuck yeah FUCK YEAHAAA. He was born and raised in America since his mum's American, but moved to the UK later in his childhood since his dad's British. He has a slight British accent from growing up in the UK HEGEHEH. He speaks just English!

Matt is the token white British guy hahaheaha OK OK JUST KIDDING BUT! Matt is British with some Irish ancestry :-) Born and raised in the UK his whole life. He mainly speaks English, but he's been teaching himself Norwegian, Spanish, and Tagalog because of the others. Matt is awesome.

AHGAHH SORRY FOR THE LATE RESPONSE!! This is for u anon, you are a very cool person :-] TYSM FOR THE REQUEST!!

Been a while since I drew Laurel (they/she), and I finally managed to give them my own design YAYAY!! I went a bit creative with the hair color and gave them a cool sunset-y kinda vibe. I remember someone commented under a ref image I was using saying it reminded them of a koi fish, and I loved that so much. Laurel’s fave fish is probably a koi fish in my eyes.

Laurel reminds me of a person who would love going out at night to those amusement parks, any dark place with cool neon lights and stuff! :-] LAUREL LOVES NEON LIGHTS!!

They once had a date with Eduardo to those amusement parks on a pier by the ocean. They had cotton candy, went on a ferris wheel, and played those silly ring toss games, and Laurel got Eduardo this big silly bear plushie.

Laurel loves music and making music. Since they’re neighbors with the main four (since Laurel prolly lives with Eduardo), she occasionally drops by Edd’s house to help with the Creatures’ music. She’s good friends with the main four, and even met Tord after he came back.

After all, Laurel was the drummer for the Creatures around 2009! Laurel played for the boys’ band until the band went on hiatus in 2013. They love playing drums, but also is really good at bass and keyboard. :-] I think Tord and Laurel would absolutely rave about drumming n shit.

Other cool info!! Laurel loves film, love love lovesss film and all about photography. She usually loves going to the pier and taking cool photos of the beach! And they love button up shirts. The ones with the funky patterns. YOU ARE SO COOL LAUREL.

At first when I started getting into Eddsworld again, I struggled to come up with a definitive design for Matt, so I mainly experimented how he’d look in a bunch of different outfits, and I played around with how he’d present himself. I started off just presenting him masc, but over time, I started kinda embracing how differently he’d present, and he tends to fluctuate from fem, masc, to androgynous, and often somewhere in the middle. This idea started to develop in my art and even through the roleplays I do as him too!

I thought it would’ve been a really cool way to explore representing genderfluid characters and experiment writing characters with different backgrounds. And of course, since my experience is different, if I ever eff up the representation, feel free to always let me know guys HAGSHA I’m always open to tips for improving my writing and art. :-)

I like to think his experience with gender during high school took a while for him to fully feel comfortable with it. He never saw himself as strictly male. He’s comfortable being called he/him, but there were times where, yeah, that always fluctuated. Times in high school prom where he’d wear a suit, and whenever he’d see others wear dresses, he always wondered how he’d look in them, sometimes gender envy in a way. At one point when he was calling Edd, he even considered going by a different name.

Matt today still occasionally gets called “Coral”, since her hair color reminds the others of coral. :-] She uses Matt more, but whenever she hears Coral from time to time, she smiles a big BIG grin and gets really jumpy and excited.

Over time, Matt started experimenting with her gender expression. She tried on a dress that she borrowed from her mum one night.

Matt: “Hey, mum.”

Amelia: “Huh? What is it?”

Matt: “Can I borrow a dress real quick?”

Amelia: “…??? Are you going out or something, hun?”

Matt: “………………”

Amelia: “HAHA! I mean, sure, you can, but why? I thought you hated dresses.”

Matt: “It’s just gonna be for a few minutes.”

Amelia: “OKAYY! Well make sure you put it back in my closet!” (In her mind: “Well, that’s odd! Oh well!”)

And that’s where this drawing came to be!

Nothing but absolute euphoria.

Matt never really saw himself as entirely JUST a girl. He liked the idea of wearing feminine stuff, dresses and skirts, putting on makeup, and wearing nail polish, but he was also comfortable being a dude! Maybe growing out his hair to have it dyed and slightly curled would be nice, some hoop earrings, eyeliner, and a stubble. I am totally not foreshadowing.

Over time, past high school, into college, and afterwards to the present, Matt recognized there really wasn’t any boundary or restriction holding him back from how he wanted to dress up or present himself, and we get Matt today! Over time he grew even more comfortable presenting more fem, but absolutely fuckin loves looking masc or fem or ANYTHING EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN! She basically doesn’t really mind at all what she’s called. Whenever people ask Matt what her gender is, he usually replies “Me? Oh, I’m Matt!”

She’s grown super passionate about fashion and makeup, and loves picking out outfits for her hubbies. I’d say out of all the crew, I draw Matt with the most different outfits all the time. I rarely really draw her with her hoodie LMFAOOO

Hello, I have a question about void/argbur, I saw in some artworks of yours that he can stick to like the wall when he’s like his void form, what is that stuff called, and is it sticky? Like do pieces of him ever come off?

Gonna pull up some cool old art to further explain my vision too hehe. There’s some unpublished art in case you guys are curious bout that.

(Also just to clarify for anyone who needs it, I’m strictly gonna talk bout my hcs of the character, Argbur/Voidbur/Arthur! I kind of treat Arthur like an oc now! I will not be posting about cc!Wilbur on my page.)

Since I see Arthur being made in a lab, like a clone of a person who went missing/died, I like to think his body isn’t organic. (He was an experiment made to test if it was possible to revive a human being, although with inorganic material)

I usually just call it void substance (I haven’t come up with a name yet LOL), but think about it as a black kind of slime, which is the material his creators tried to make him with. It’s definitely pretty sticky, and it leaves behind a black residue on every surface it touches. Everytime Arthur leaves an area in his void form, there’s black markings he leaves behind.

Void substance is a type of chemical the scientists used to create Arthur (either it’s artificial or “natural” is something I’m indecisive about, like a parasite they found in the earth), and when it’s not kept in a closed, controlled environment, it has the potential to grow out of control and destroy its surroundings. The substance is almost “living” with a mind of its own, but it has no organic material.

Arthur’s void form is very shapable and malleable, meaning he can shapeshift into anything he chooses, but remaining in a desaturated color. This explains his human form, which although it accurately depicts the form he was assigned with, his skin remains cold and grey.

Furthermore, bits and pieces can definitely fall/melt off of him when he isn’t maintaining his form (eg. he’s experiencing stress as his void form, or as his human form). However, I can see he’s able to regenerate his physical body. Void substance is very fluid and chaotic. I wouldn’t say it’s INFINITE, so I’m inclined to believe you can limit void substance through temperature (like extreme heat?), but that’s something I’m still figuring out.

Apologies for the ramble, but you reminded me of how much I love Arthur :-] I went into more detail than I needed to, but hope you enjoy the infodump!

[Infodump section because I swear I’m about music]: I try to give each of them their own unique themes and base em off of the vibes they give :-] I’m especially so silly about the instruments and genres I associate with them, and I usually add whichever song combines both of their styles together for ship playlists HEGHEGHE

For example, EddMatt has a lot of bedroom pop and indie pop, and these two are rlly laidback and chill with each other. Edd usually has a lot of very easygoing songs, while Matt gives a lot of high energy and that “pop” or flare in his. Then you combine em together, then you get EddMatt YAYAY

I usually associate Matt with electric guitar (usually lead guitar) and piano, and Edd with acoustic, electric guitar, and electric keyboard <3

[ALSO THE POLYSWORLD PLAYLIST]!!! I actually have two playlists for them all together IM SO EXCITED TO SHOW YOU HAGAHA!!! I made them before I headcanoned them being a whole poly, but over time I figured “Yeah, these are when you put all their themes together” 🥳 I haven’t made an official Polysworld-centric playlist YET, so that’s something I’m planning to make eventually?? This is when you put four crazy ass mfs together in a band and they get into some wildd shenanigans. This is a more rock-centric playlist, super super high energy shit, and I always like to imagine them all playing together in it :-] LIKE YES MATT . SHRED THAT GUITAR SOLO OH MY GODDDD LETS GO

2. The Dorks From Eddsworld (Main Eddsworld playlist, I don’t update this one much)

This is their sillier playlist! I go off of what I feel like would be in the show and what kinda gives off that “silly” Classic Eddsworld vibe. I even included some chiller songs that combine their themes together 🫶 I don’t update this one as much as the Creatures playlist, but it’s still a nice listen :-]
