Today I read Elin Wägner's Norrtullsligan and the scene that stuck with me was when the main character visits her friend, who is dying from a broken back brought by starvation and overworking, lies in the Sabbatsberg hospital bed so happy and serene, for she has finally been "allowed to rest" and the text examines her complacency as a worker so abused by the system that she has become fulfilled by simple rest, even as she awaits death

It is poignant to note too, that she was the one who opposed the strike at her workplace as arranged by her friends because she had no energy to deal with it or the repercussions

Aparentemente, mais uma dentre��tantas mulheres, porém, para Deus, alguém que faria a diferença no Brasil de uma maneira especial. As canções de Frida podem ser lidas e ouvidas em grande parte do mundo através da Harpa Cristã (Hinário das Assembleias de Deus). São 23 que retratam seu amor pelo Senhor e o conhecimento Bíblico que tinha. Frida Maria Strandberg nasceu em 9 de junho de 1891 em Själevad, distrito de Västernorrlands, na região norte da Suécia. Filha de Jonas Strandberg e Kristina Strandberg, recebeu o nome com origem na palavra nórdica frior, que significa paz. Desde nova, Frida sentia que Deus a envolvia de uma maneira especial. A chama por missões ardia em seu coração a ponto de desejar ser enviada, para este trabalho, ainda moça. Por meio de visões e revelações, Frida tinha a confirmação da chamada de Deus para trabalhar em sua obra. Com tanto desejo e sede por se envolver ainda mais no serviço cristão, a jovem moça decidiu começar a se preparar para ser enviada pela Evangeliska Fosterlands-Stiftelsens (Associação Evangélica da Pátria). Fez um curso de oito meses no Instituto Bíblico Sueco (Svenska Bibel-Institute), mantido pela Associação Evangélica da Pátria. Seu amor pelas vidas refletia até mesmo em sua profissão. Frida cursou enfermagem durante dois anos no Hospital de Vänersborg e cursou três meses numa Casa Infantil em Estocolmo. Com sua chamada missionária, seguiu trabalhando como chefe da seção de enfermaria no Hospital Sabbatsbergs, e dedicando-se também à arte fotográfica. i got to talk to someone again now but he couldn’t really help me

he said that the package i did get a letter on would end up in sabbatsberg which is walking distance from here so its not a huge deal. its not a huge displacement. either way i should probably get to pick it up in a few days

he looked up both my USPS tracking numbers and according to him none of them were registered as having arrived to sweden

im so fucking worried my stuff will be sent back because these letters are taking too long! i wont be able to get refunds!

För cirka 15 år sedan skulle jag fixa nya kontaktlinser. Sedan lågstadiet hade jag haft glasögon eller linser. Optikern sa att jag nog hade starr. Hurra tänkte jag. Bức ảnh “Bào thai 18 tuần” mô tả chiêu tậpt thai nhi trong bọc ối, còn nguyên dây rốn nối sở hữu nhau thai, được đạt đến độ hoàn thiện về cả khoa học và cảm xúc, thách thức các chuẩn mực về nhiếp ảnh tiên tiến..

Thai nhi chưa chào đời, đôi mắt nhắm nghiền, 2 bàn tay bé nhỏ ép chặt vào lồng ngực. Bọc ối như đang trôi trong không gian. 

Bức ảnh được chụp bởi phóng viên người Thụy Điển Lennart Nilsson. Ông biểu lộ ý tưởng của mình có tạp chí Life vào năm 1954. Sau hơn tuyển tuyển tuyển chiêu 1 thập kỷ, ông cho có mặt trên thị phần bức ảnh đầu tiên chụp thai nhi trong bụng mẹ. Đây là kỳ tích chưa trong khoảngng có trong lịch sử nhiếp ảnh cũng như nghiên cứu sinh học.

Công nghệ đắm đuốiêu âm thai lần đầu tiên được giới thiệu vào năm 1956 tại Glasgow, chính yếu cho các mục đích lâm sàng. ngoài ra, cho đến năm 1970, phương pháp này mới trở nên nhiều. Hình ảnh đắm đuốiêu âm thai cho đến hiện nay vẫn khôn cùng giả. do đó, để có được bức ảnh rõ nét nhất của thai nhi còn trong bọc ối, Nilsson đã tiêu dùng 1 máy ảnh nội soi, luồn vào tử cung của sản phụ.

hài hòa mang ông có 2 chuyên gia nội soi người Đức, Karl Storz và Jungners Optiska. 2 nhà khoa học đã chế tác ra cái ống kính macro và ống kính góc rộng có thể đưa vào cơ thể người. Trong suốt 7 năm, Nilsson chỉ chụp độc nhất một thai bào sống. Bức này đó được giới thiệu riêng trong series của Life. Các ảnh hơic đều chụp từ tử cung của sản phụ đã sảy thai hoặc đình chỉ thai kỳ.

Nilsson khiến cho việc chặt chẽ có Giáo sư Axel Ingelman-Sundberg, Trưởng khoa Phụ khoa, Bệnh viện Sabbatsberg, thành phố Stockholm. Kể từ năm 1958 đến năm 1965, ông tiếp xúc với đa dạng sản phụ, ghi lại hàng trăm bức ảnh, từ giai đoạn tinh trùng gặp trứng cho đến tháng thứ 6 của thai kỳ. 

Ông cũng gần đặt một studio ngay tại bệnh viện, đặt các bào thai vào môi trường tương tự bể cá, tạo hiệu ứng khiến thai nhi như đang trôi trong không gian. 

Sau này, Nilsson xuất bản cuốn sách A child is born (Một đứa trẻ được sinh ra), chỉ dẫn cách thức dưỡng thai cho các sản phụ. Đây là một trong các cuốn sách minh họa bán chạy nhất mọi thời đại, được dịch ra 20 thứ tiếng.

Vào năm 1970, khi phong trào nữ quyền bùng nổ, những bức ảnh của Nilsson bị nhiều nhà hoạt động xã hội sử dụng trong các cuộc biểu tình chống phá thai. không những thế, vì không muốn chính trị hóa tác phẩm của mình, Nillsson khước từ tái công bố các bức ảnh và giữ ý kiến trung lập. 

Đến năm 2017, trước khi chết thật ở tuổi 94, Lennart Nilsson cho phép triển lãm Paris Photo trưng bày các di sản của mình. cho đến nay, ‘Bào thai 18 tuần’ vẫn được coi là một trong những bức ảnh ấn tượng nhất của thế kỷ 20.
