Witajcie dziś jestem w Białej Bazylice. Legendy mówią, że znajdowały się tutaj święte #gajedruidow, a po włączeniu ich w obręb Cesarstwa Rzymskiego poświęcono je Marsowi lub Merkuremu. Od imion bóste miałaby pochodzić nazwa tego miejsca. Najprawdopodobniej jednak wzięła się ona od św. Dionizego i jego towarzyszy, którzy zostali tutaj ścięci przez Rzymian za wiarę.
