The next round of reveals for Phantom Nightmare is here!

They're fully integrating Skull Guardian, Sauravis, and Saffira together into one archetype that acts as support for LIGHT Dragon/Warrior Ritual monsters. It's a pretty limited selection of those outside of the new Skull Guardian but hey, it's there now.

I'm still anticipating a hefty amount of Rituals in this pack but, if I'm right, it looks like a chunk of those might be coming from the plot archetypes this time around.

“Okay, you got me.” Matteo responded, “I mean, her parents were never even around. I think their names were Saffira and Gareth, but I’ve never met them.” 

“Sapphire and Garnet for Amber. How convenient,” Gastón shook his head, “Anyways, Ambar aside. In the end, at least Mr. Castillo is not the one who I need to ask Nina’s hand someday, and Ricardo likes me.”

“How romantic,” Gastón could hear Matteo rolling his eyes amused, “You’re so whipped to have thought that far. You’ve really turned into a traditionalist.” 

“Not like that,” Gastón laughed sarcastically, “I just think it’s something important. I mean, I know, Dad would have loved to ask Mom’s hand from her father, but Grandpa was dead and their whole engagement was very unconventional anyway. He didn’t know what he was doing until he was doing it.”

“Better than how my dad handled it,” Matteo laughed, “He asked Sofia over morning coffee, COFFEE! I am almost offended on her behalf.”

“I guess it is different the second time around. How did he propose to you mom?”

“I’m not sure actually,” Matteo responded, “But I doubt it was any more romantic. He doesn’t have a romantic bone in his body. Only thing he knows to do is to buy jewelry for them.” 

“Dad buys jewelry for Mom too, it’s one of his favorite pass times.”

“Yeah, that does not compare,” Matteo argued, “They’ve been madly in love for over 20 years. Your Dad actually puts thought into that stuff and isn’t that the case that he could probably tell a stortý about each thing he gets for your Mom, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

I hate that I always gravitate towards the quirky queens. 😭😭 because I do like Dawn but her not liking musical theatre GAGGED ME. She seems like a theatre kid, like the blueprint. The very new age. While plasma is old age. 😭😭 and while I don’t agree she’s inauthentic. I do appreciate, that unlike Jane, Dawn, for the most part, not always, keeps her annoyances about the other queens in her confessionals. To mean Jane feels more inauthentic. She does feel like a bitch just to be a bitch. And don’t get me wrong. Love Jane. She’s fierce. But it comes off as tryhard her cattiness. (but speaking of Michelle’s comment to megami, Michelle does these critiques a lot and I always hate it. It’s like she only really likes one style of drag sometimes. It’s always be this. Do this. Like with dawns ears. Like..why are we telling queens to stop being the thing that makes them them. Like others that come to mind are max’s gray hair. Dusty ray bottoms dots just to name a few off the top of my head. I really want a queen to stand up to her and just be like no. This is me and my drag. It’s what got me here. It’s what I do. And I’m not going to change just to fit your style of drag. Because she’d never tell a pageant girl to do quirky/avante grade/weird drag because to her it feels like that’s the standard everyone should have. But that’s just how I see it sometimes) anyways saffira and nymphia for the win. 🥰

i don’t get how jane being shady to queens faces is more catty or inauthentic than dawn who is only shady behind their backs 😭and her inauthenticity comes from her trying to be quirky but showing nothing off the sort, she’s just boring and white 😭
