In the 90s anime (most popular adaptation of Sailor Moon), they made her develop in one season and better her relationship with Usagi, just for them to still make her bicker and be in love with her father even tho by sailor moon s manga they completely toned it down. They also amplified her flaws to 1000000% way more than in the original manga.
