OH MY GODS IT'S REAL?! SaiMono is a criminally underrated anime and I can still sing the OP song to this day.
Shuurei is also one of my fave anime heroines of all time! We love a woman in politics! We also love a canonically bisexual emperor, but I'm skeptical about how they're going to approach that. Ryuuki was known for two things: being lazy and loving men.
Are they going to touch on this at all or just completely get rid of that part of his character? Also who is going to play my fave villain: Sa Sakujun?
This post is part of my ongoing record for the new (to me) anime I watch in 2024. I'm excited to see what new shows and films I discover as this list grows through the year.
Love of Kill (2022) episodes: 12 started: 6-13-24 finished: 6-15-24 rating: 8/10
The Story of Saiunkoku (Saiunkoku Monogatari) (2006) episodes: 39 started: 6-17-24 finished: 6-26-24 rating: 8/10 note: I really enjoyed this show. I'm so disappointed that season 2 never got a western release
Well odd as of right now from what I found no new poster of this drama has been posted. Though at least we have a trailer finally, and I hope the drama airs soon this looks so good.
