On 9 year completion of Heropanti, Tiger, and Kriti open up about their journey in Bollywood

Heropanti completed 9 years yesterday and both the actors- Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff expressed their views on their journey in Bollywood. Kriti and Tiger both debuted in the Bollywood industry with Heropanti. Kriti delivered several hit movies after that including Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, and Panipat. She has proved her acting mettle and has been a popular face among the audience.

Talking to a leading news daily, Kriti talked about the time when she had faced challenges in finding herself a role. she said that she wished to do better but had a hard time finding directors who would cast her in challenging roles.  “When you do not come from a film background, it anyway takes time for people even to know your name. So I wanted them to know my name, and that name to resonate with talent,” Kriti said.

She also confessed that she always missed validation in Bollywood which came only after she had done Bareilly Ki Barfi. “I always craved validation as an actor. That started happening with Bareilly Ki Barfi, and then Luka Chuppi did really well. I was taking baby steps in the right direction. Of course, after Mimi, there has been a huge shift, I got my first set of best actor awards. It took eight years for it to happen,” Adipurush actress said.

On the other hand, Tiger took to his social media to express his gratitude to the audience. In a caption, the actor wrote, “Blessed to have been accepted by all of you 9 years ago. I hope I can continue to entertain you all through his genre for as long as possible.
