Being salty as usual. But other than that not too much. Procrastinating a little bit on homework but slowly getting it done. How about yourself?

It was only a couple days ago that I posted the photo of Muffin in @saltfriend 's hat. For the last 2 days Muffin has been missing, for the last 2 days @saltfriend and his housemates had been hearing mewing every few hours. Today I came over to help find her, worried with the heatwave atm we ended up calling the rspca as we feared she was stuck on/in the roof or a wall. We found her. Sadly too late as she had already passed. Seeing her it is speculated that she had been hit by something and later passed. We have now discovered the mewing was the other cat, potentially trying to get our attention to that area. She was always an indoor cat, only been let out during this intense heat as her house was old with no cooling mechanisms and the outside was much cooler. This is a sad reminder that the outside can be fatal to cats, and the heat is a serious problem. I honestly don't know what else to say about this. But please keep your furry/feathered/scalie companions hydrated especially in summer. Maybe if it was cooler we could have saved Muffin in time, maybe she would have never had the opportunity to wonder outside if that was the case.
