Have you ever wondered if you could lighten the color of your lips? How about the idea of having perfectly shaped in perfectly colored in Brows from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed? Both of these things are entirely possible through permanent make up. Make sure and choose your artist wisely because it is a very specific technique that must be used to lighten darker lips. An inexperienced artist may think using the color pink can lighten darker lips, however, if pink is used on darker lips it can turn them even darker. Never cut corners on your face. Clients previous lip permanent makeup had a more purple tone and she wanted the color to be brighter! This was after appt one and we corrected the purple tones. At next appt it will now be safe to tattoo bright red since the purple is now gone. Your artist MUST have a good understanding of color theory to ensure the color tattooed in is the right color to not enhance the purple tones and make them darker. If I’d used straight red on the purple already there it round have turned the purple even darker. She’s in good hands with me and so will you be. Trust in someone with lots of experience for your permanent makeup needs for your face because your worth it! Here’s a new client from last week who had previous permanent makeup which needed shape correction and color correction. Been seeing quite a few clients lately with previous microblading that need some correction work. Do yourself a favor and avoid microblading like the plague because it’s so incredibly harmful to your skin and leaves it very delicate when worked on in the future. Microblading technique utilized a scalpel like took to slice through the skin creating cuts that are then rubbed with pigment to create the visual effect of hairs. I use a 1 point needle and machine to create hairs. Client wanted a very natural and soft looking result. It took a few appointments before she felt fully comfortable allowing me to intensify the color and shape more. Like most people that come to me for permanent makeup they’re terrified of it looking too harsh.
