Noxic's Red vs Blue Warrior Cat's AU

Hi! I'm Noxic, and this is my Red vs Blue WC AU! To get started, I figured I should introduce what this au is. It's pretty self-explanatory, but I'm putting all (or most) of the characters from Red vs Blue in Warrior cats! While taking a few.. creative liberties.

To get started, we should probably start, well, at the start. The Director, obviously. In this AU he's the former leader of Thunderclan, Hyacinthstar. He was mates with Copperbite (Allison) and soon after had Sandkit (Church) and Vaporkit (Carolina). Thunderclan was in war with Badgers and even sooner after Sandkit and Vaporkit became apprentices, Copperbite was killed during a battle patrol to badgers.

Once Copperbite died, Hyacinthstar began neglecting his duties as both leader and father. It got so bad that he was exiled and was escorted to the Moonstone to have his remaining lives taken back by Starclan. Hyacinthstar wanted to hold onto the power he had, so in a desperate bid to keep his lives, he shattered 8 pieces of the sacred rock off, leaving him with one live remaining, but the remaining lives never went to Starclan, instead they were trapped in the Moonstone Fragments. After, Hyacinthstar, now Hyacinthspirit, stole his kits out of their nests late at night, and made the decision to leave the younger, weaker kit, Sandpaw at a barn near WindClan territory.

Meanwhile he and Vaporpaw met a disgraced Shadowclan Medicine Cat, who introduced himself as Weaselspring (The Counselor) and they formed the beginnings of Project Freelancer by recruiting rogues, loners, and similarly exiled clan cats.

As for Sandpaw. he was found by a ragged old tomcat (Sarge) and was promptly taken in to the safety of the barn under the care of himself and a big gray dog (Sheila).

WC: Sandstorm's Parents

I've recently converted to the idea that Sandstorm is Dappletail and Runningwind's kit ( since he's so much younger than Dappletail, I imagine that after Stormtail died, Runningwind offered to father kits so she could raise them in Stormtail's honor. After Featherkit and Cricketkit died, he made the offer again to give Dappletail one more chance at motherhood before she became an elder, and they had Sandkit )

However, what's the community's stance on Sandstorm instead being the daughter of Speckletail and Smallear?

Think about it, Sandstorm had no reaction to Runningwind's death, of course that could be because he wasn't an active part of her life, but you'd think there would at least be some hint of grief anyway. She also has no interactions with Dappletail that I can remember.

However, she has interacted with Speckletail, and in a very familial, or at least friendly way.

I'm re-reading the first arc and Sandstorm was very distraught when Snowkit died, and very sympathetic towards Speckletail. I have currently not re-read past the point of Snowkit's death so I've yet to see how quickly she recovers or if there is any other evidence. But she did have a very friendly interaction in comforting Speckletail.

This would also mean that Lionheart and Goldenflower are Sandstorm's older siblings.

When Lionheart died she was still not a central character and still bitter towards Firepaw, so we didn't get any insight on what she felt towards his death, and even if we did see her right after that scene, she'd still be reacting to anything the main trio does with anger, which could also be magnified by her grief ( even though I recently read Into the Wild, I don't remember if we saw her soon after the death or not lol )

Goldenflower, Smallear and Snowkit's littermate Mistlekit, all died off-page, so we don't really know how anyone reacted to their deaths.

Also, Sandstorm is a spitting image of Speckletail, Lionheart, and Goldenflower, with her pale ginger/sandy golden fur and faint stripes. She fits right in among them in matter of appearance.

I need to keep reading to find more evidence and to really decide if I believe this theory or not, but I think it's pretty solid what I've found so far.
