Frying up some fermented onions and garlic- for a pot of black beans I’m making for the week. The onions are pink due to being in the left over red and green cabbage potato brine from my New Years kraut. I later took that brine and pickled some cucumbers, which is when I added the onion and garlic. Last week, I finished off part the kraut by adding it to a lentil soup I made- and the results were crazy good (a friend confirmed this- I’m not trying to be egotistical!).
