With the bell frantically ringing in the background, Wes Barkley is released, dropped in a pile of his own drool, while Abigail gives Team Filthy a nod. Scarlett Bordeaux appears from the back with a briefcase in hand, and passes it to Tom Lawlor. The briefcase is filled to the brim with cash, and a wide smirk passes over Lawlor’s face at the confirmation that every penny they agreed upon is there, and Tom shakes the hands of Syn and Malakai Black, the right and left hands of the Devil, but Abigail hasn’t moved her eyes from Joshua Bishop. Blood is oozing down his face, covering his chest, and Bishop is trying to break free. The blood loss has taken a great toll on his strength, and he can’t break the handcuffs yet, but he tries his damndest as Abigail approaches him, the MPW World Championship in hand, dangling the title in front of his face.

“You think you can take this from me? Huh? You think you have what it takes to beat me?” Abigail grabs him by the jaw, forcing Bishop to look into her eyes - and Bishop spits in her face. Blade rushes into the ring, but she’s quickly met by Malakai and Riley, while Syn is on Bishop, no orders having to be given. Abigail wipes the saliva off her face, mixing with the collective blood of damn near everybody in this match, her face twitching as she struggles to maintain the rage. “Finish her.” Abigail barks out the order, and together, Riley and Malakai hit Dante’s Inferno, and kick Blade out of the ring, leaving Bishop alone with Abigail, Syn, Malakai, Sardonyx, and Riley. There’s nobody to save him now, and The Fallen are picking apart the carcass of the Intense Icon.

This is what happens when you step to The Devil. This is what happens when you step to The Fallen. And Abigail wants to leave a permanent scar so Bishop never forgets. But as we’ve seen time and time again, that’s only going to piss Bishop off even more.

Syn has taken his turn beating down Bishop, and Malakai pushes him aside to take over, punching Bishop in the mouth, before he pulls out another set of handcuffs, and links the other arm to the ropes, forcing him to stand up with his arms spread in a crucifix-like stance. Bishop tries to stay on his feet, but the blood loss, and the physical toll this match has taken on him, forces Bishop to a knee. Donned with pink hair and a torso covered by his own blood, he’s at the mercy of the Fallen as Syn lines him up, and nails him with a BIG kick to the jaw. Riley lines him up next, and nails him with a Superkick. Malakai comes in right behind her, nailing him with a roundhouse, the sound of leather slapping against the side of Bishop’s head downright nasty. They take turns kicking him, before the three come together, nailing three in-stereo kicks, and Bishop goes limp. As if this wasn’t enough already, Abigail has a steel chair in hand, her eyes stay locked with Bishop’s as she raises the chair, passing it to Sardonyx, and tells her to bash it over Bishop’s head. She doesn’t care about beating Bishop at Thunder in Paradise anymore, she doesn’t want him anywhere near Panama.

But Sardonyx looks conflicted. We just witnessed maybe one of the most brutal matches in MPW history, and Abigail still isn't satisfied. They won the match. They covered the mat, the arena, with their enemies blood. That should be enough, right?

As the moment drags on, Abigail turns around and gets in Sardonyx's face, asking her, "Do I need to repeat myself?" Sardonyx doesn't look up. "What's wrong with you?" Abigail shoves Sardonyx by the side of the head, pushing her to the ropes, "What's wrong with you? Do you think this is a game?" Another shove. "Answer me."

"I just think -" Sardonyx looks up, shame written all over her face, but she has to stand up for this, if just this once, "We're taking this a little too far. We already won, we made our point. It's over. We should just head to the back, heal the wounded, and prepare for next week." Sardonyx seems a little more confident as she speaks, but the tension grows thicker, "We're better than this. You're better than this -"

Abigail laughs, twisted and fake, glaring into Sardonyx's soul as she spits back, "You think you know what's best now, huh? Is that it? You think it is a game that anybody can play? Is that what it is? You think this is a god damn game." Sardonyx's eyes widen, shaking her head, when Abigail shoves her again, "This is everything. This is my whole life, do you understand? This is getting done. So you're either gonna hit him," pointing back at Bishop, "or someone else is getting hit. Do you understand?" Sardonyx solemnly nods. "That's what I thought. Now do what I tell you to do, bitch." Oof. "And pull the fucking trigger." Sardonyx nods, raising the chair, and Abigail smirks as she turns back to Bishop, ready to spew more trash -

SARDONYX HITS ABIGAIL WTH THE CHAIR!!

WHAT THE HELL?!?!

Time stands still as the sound of impact echoes throughout the Showboat. The fans jump to their feet as Abigail falls down, nearly falling into the ropes. Syn half Spears, half tackles Sardonyx. The first one to move, attacking Sardonyx for hitting his beloved. Riley pushes Syn to the side, Syn quickly tending to Abigail, as Riley takes over beating down Sardonyx, before planting her with Riley's Destino. Even still, the beatdown continues, as Riley is far, far from finished with Sardonyx. Syn has helped Abigail to her feet, and the crowd isn't sure whether to be pissed at this beatdown, or over the moon at Abigail losing one of her most powerful soldiers.

And then there's Malakai.

Abigail takes over the beatdown, yelling at Sardonyx that she gave her the world on a silver platter, but her loyalty was too much to ask in return. This is the repayment she gets, a knife in the back in her most vulnerable time. And it's only when she stops yelling that she notices Malakai hasn't moved. Still covered in his own blood, riddled with pain and exhaustion, Malakai looks conflicted, tired. Abigail is his everything, in a sense, but Sardonyx has been a close friend for fifteen years. He's the reason she's in the Fallen, in MPW, in wrestling as a whole. He may devote his entire existence to Abigail, but when is enough enough? When will the sacrifices stop? Does he have to throw away a long term friendship for this?

"What're you doing?" Abigail sounds choked up as she looks down at Malakai, who can't even look her in the eyes. His gaze stays glued on Sardonyx's beat body, as Abigail yells down at him, "She is nothing to you now. She betrayed all of us. She betrayed you. We are your family, not her. I am your family." He doesn't budge. "Malakai."

Malakai rolls under the bottom rope, and makes his way towards the locker room. Abigail bites her lip, watching her go, before she whips around and starts beating the hell out of Sardonyx. "You're going to pay for this." Abigail hisses, trying to choke Sardonyx out. It's only when Syn intervenes, cradling Abigail's head in his hands, whispering something in her ear, that Abigail relents. He guides her out of the ring, Abigail, Syn, and Riley leaving a bloody scene with multiple broken bodies strewn all over the arena, including one of their own.

Chaos Cup Round 2- Joshua Bishop vs Sardonyx vs Derek Dillinger vs Erick Stevens

We’re back with the final day of the Chaos Cup, and we’re starting in explosive fashion. Josh Bishop, Sardonyx, Erick Stevens, and Derek Dillinger are all more than capable of winning the whole tournament on any given night, but out of these four, the Chaos Cup journey ends for three of them right now. One fall to a finish, the first of these four to score a pinfall or a submission will be headed to our main event tonight, to face the winners of our other two second round four ways. 

Referee Tom Dunn calls for the bell, and as soon as he does, apparently both Derek Dillinger & Sardonyx had the same idea, making a B-line right for Joshua Bishop, and both launching themselves at him, trapping him in the corner as both Dillinger and Sardonyx start to put a beating on the Intense Icon. Bishop does his best to cover up, and for the moment, Erick Stevens isn’t doing anything to help. Stevens and Bishop may be friendly with one another, but Stevens has been in the ring with Josh Bishop before, and knows he’s probably the biggest threat in this ring at the moment. Standing back and watching him get beat on as the result of a 2 on 1 attack is just good strategy. 

Or at least it was for the moment, before Bishop manages to swat Sardonyx away with a back elbow, followed up by sending Dillinger to the mat, dropping him with a stiff chop to the chest! Derek actually rolls out of the ring, clutching his chest, and Sardonyx tries to charge back at Josh Bishop, only to eat a boot to the face this time. Sardonyx stumbled away, and now it’s Stevens’ turn to try, charging Josh Bishop, and laying into him with a couple of stiff forearms, Bishop responding in kind and blasting back at Erick. The two men trade forearms back and forth, before Bishop blocks one from Stevens, wraps a hand around Erick’s throat, and sends Erick up and overhead, into the turnbuckles, with a choke toss suplex! 

Bishop gets back up, only to be blasted across the chest with a stiff kick from Sardonyx! Bishop clutches his chest and tries to shake it off, but Sardonyx lands another one. She tries for a third, but Bishop swats Sardonyx’s leg away, before beaming her with a huge clothesline, dropping The Savior. Sardonyx rolls into the corner, where Bishop grabs her, and whips her across the ring, right into Erick Stevens. The two collide in the corner, and Bishop follows it up by charging in and crushing both Sardonyx and Erick Stevens with a body splash! Both drop to the mat, and Bishop goes to grab Sardonyx, but suddenly he’s blasted in the back by a stiff chair shot from Derek Dillinger! Bishop crumples, and Derek sets the chair up, before wrapping his arms around Bishop’s waist, throwing him overhead with a German, driving Bishop down on the chair! The chair crumples under Bishop’s weight and impact, and Derek kicks it out of the way, going for the first cover of the match on Bishop!

1….2… Broken up!

Sardonyx stomps on Derek’s back, breaking the pin. Sardonyx picks Derek up, and sends him into the ropes, before dropping Derek with a huge jumping knee, sending Derek stumbling back into the ropes. Sardonyx then tries to whip Derek back across the ring, but Derek turns it around on her, spinning around, and pulling Sardonyx into him, before BLASTING her with a huge right hand, nearly taking Sardonyx’s head off! Derek goes to pick her up, trying for a back suplex, but Sardonyx manages to roll backward and land on her feet. Derek turns around, looking for a rolling elbow, which Sardonyx ducks, before grabbing Derek and throwing him overhead with a huge exploder suplex! Sardonyx gets back to her feet, only to be met with a huge forearm from Erick Stevens! Sardonyx stumbles into the corner, as Erick measures her from the opposite corner, pumps his fist and gives a CHOO CHOO, before crashing into Sardonyx with a huge Runaway Train corner Lariat! Sardonyx is dropped into a seat in a corner, before Derek comes charging in, and crashes into Sardonyx with double knees! Derek goes to pull Sardonyx out of the corner, but Erick pulls Derek off of her, and sends Derek overhead with a HUGE Half and Half Suplex! Derek gets dumped on his head, as Stevens hooks the leg!

1….2.. Kickout!

Derek out at two! Erick pulls himself back up and adjusts his arm band, looking to continue to work over Derek, when out of the corner of his eye, he sees the massive Intense Icon slide into the ring, having recovered from being dropped on a chair, and apparently ready for more. Erick gets up as him and Josh Bishop circle each other, the wide shark like grin spread across Bishop’s face. These two men have a ton of history with one another, and it looks like they’re about ready to write a little more. The two men lock up, Bishop quickly got the advantage and pulled Stevens into a headlock, which Stevens quickly got out of by sending Bishop off the ropes. Bishop came back and knocked Stevens down with a shoulder tackle, being the larger of the two men, one would assume he would have the power advantage in this one. Bishop waited for Erick Stevens to get back up again, and ran off the ropes, looking for another shoulder block, but Stevens dropped down, and Bishop hit the ropes again, this time on the rebound Erick tried to leapfrog Bishop, but Bishop stopped short before he could, before attempting to throw a clothesline, which Stevens ducked, before Stevens ran off the ropes, and caught and dropped Bishop with a shoulder block! We were all even here between the Runaway Train and the Intense Icon!

Stevens ran off the ropes again, and this time it’s Bishop who drops down, mirroring what Stevens did before. Stevens stepped over and on the rebound, just like how Stevens had done, Bishop tried to leapfrog, but rather than stop short, Erick caught Bishop in midair, before driving him to the mat with a powerslam! Bishop got up clutching his back, and Erick hit the ropes again, before charging Bishop and sending him over the top rope and to the outside with a clothesline! Stevens didn’t stop his momentum, hitting the ropes again all without stopping, and dove underneath the middle rope, taking Bishop out with a low suicide dive to the outside! Erick Stevens launched himself like a missile and took Bishop right into the guardrail!  

Erick gets back to his feet, just in time to watch Sardonyx set her feet on the top rope, leap off the top, and crash down onto Erick with a HUGE Moonsault! Sardonyx going high risk! Sardonyx landed on her feet and stumbled as she took Erick out, and tries to put a hand on the ground to catch herself, but as shes hunched over, Derek Dillinger charges in, and sends Sardonyx into the steel guardrail with a HUGE Sunset Bomb! Roll Credits from Dillinger sends Sardonyx into the steel! 

Derek, looking to capitalize, looking to move on, first throws Sardonyx back into the ring, before Dillinger grabs Stevens, lifts him up, and slams him back down on the apron with a huge Chokeslam! With Stevens neutralized, Derek rolls back into the ring and measures her as Sardonyx begins to stand. Derek locks her into a full nelson, before looking to end Sardonyx with the Directors Chair, but as Derek lifts her, Sardonyx rolls through and catches Derek in a forward roll pin!

1…

Instead of commit to the pin, Sardonyx jumps up, and crashes down on Derek with a double stomp! Now Sardonyx covers Derek!  

1….2… Kickout!

Derek out at two, and Sardonyx almost immediately gets caught from behind by a leaping forearm from Stevens to the back of her head! Looking to potentially finish off Sardonyx, Stevens then picks up Sardonyx, looking for the Northern Lights Bomb, but Sardonyx slips out the back! Sardonyx looks for a Mass Destruction kick on Stevens, but Stevens ducks in, and tries for a Roundhouse of his own, which Sardonyx manages to block! Both of them then seem to think it a good idea to go for a headbutt at the same time, causing them to knock heads, as both competitors are now stunned! Both seem to snap out of it at the same time too, but as they do, Joshua Bishop charges them, and sends both competitors, and then himself, over the ropes, and to the floor with a double clothesline! 

All three competitors land on their feet on the floor, and Stevens and Sardonyx take the opportunity to try and team up on Josh Bishop, both of them launching fists at the Intense Icon, as Bishop tries to fight right back. As the three of them are busy locked in a skirmish, Derek Dillinger is back on his feet in the ring, and summons Ziggy Haim into the ring as well, as he lifts up The Final Girl, and launches her to the outside, looking to take out all three of his opponents, but Sardonyx and Erick Stevens both clear out, and Josh Bishop catches Ziggy Haim in mid air! Ziggy is shaking her head, pleading for mercy from Joshua Bishop, but The Intense Icon has none! Bishop turns to where Stevens and Sardonyx moved out of the way, and, with Ziggy raised high in the air, Bishop LAUNCHES Ziggy at Erick and Sardonyx, taking all three of them out, sending all three of them crashing into the guardrail! 

Derek has his hands on his head as he watches Josh Bishop manhandle his manager and friend, and the realization creeps in for Dillinger that he’s all alone with the Intense Icon, and it’s either him or Josh moving on! Bishop goes to slide into the ring, but Derek’s faster, grabbing a chair laying on the apron, and as Josh goes to get up, Derek wallops Bishop right in the head with it! Bishop is stunned, and Derek raises the chair over his head again, before once again cracking the chair on Bishop’s skull! Josh Bishop STILL isn’t down, and so Derek nails him with the chair again, but Bishop STILL doesn’t go down! Derek, deciding he needs some more firepower, turns and hits the ropes, but this proves to be a mistake, as on the rebound, Bishop catches him, spins him, and drops him with a HUGE Black Hole Slam! 

Josh Bishop get back up to his feet, and looking to put Derek down for good, looks to set up for the Bishop Bomb, but Derek manages to shove Bishop off, grab Bishop, and plant Josh with a Bareback Jawbreaker! Derek hooks the leg on Bishop! 

1….2… Kickout!

Derek, very close there to moving onto the finals, knows he needs to stay on Bishop to finish this one off. Derek grabs the chair again, and begins nailing Bishop with chairshot after chairshot, looking to just keep Bishop down, before Derek rolls out of the ring, and grabs a table out from under the ring. Derek has danced with Bishop on many an occasion, and he knows that in order to keep the Intense Icon down, he’s gotta break out the big guns. Derek sets up the table, and grabs Bishop again, lifting him up and setting him on the top rope, before Derek starts to climb up to the top rope, and grab Josh Bishop. Derek starts trying to set Bishop up for some sort of superplex, but Bishop suddenly comes to life, before trying to lay into Derek with a couple of stiff forearms, stunning Derek! Bishop then begins to lift Dillinger up, before climbing up onto the top rope, the entire crowd is on their feet as Bishop jumps from the top rope, and PUTS DEREK THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A BISHOP BOMB! HOLY SHIT! 

Bishop folds Derek up, but there’s no way Derek could’ve survived that! 

1…..2….3!

“Here is your winner, Joshua Bishop!” 

Josh Bishop is through to the finals!
