Pontosan emlékszem hol voltam és mit csináltam, amikor meghallottam, hogy Kertész Imre Nobel-díjat kapott. Sóletet ettem Debrecenben, egy szavalóverseny szünetében.

Karikó Katalin Nobel-díjának hírére is mindig emlékezni fogok: éppen videót vettem fel, és egy mikrofonállványt vittem az emeletre.

Nyilván nem a sólet és nem is a mikrofonállvány a fontos ebben - de a nagy, nagyon nagy dolgokra való ráeszmélés pillanata mindig nyomot hagy az emberben.

Arra is emlékszem, mit mondtak körülöttem, amikor Kertész nyert.

"Zsidó... Ha nem zsidó lenne, lószart nem kapott volna. Egyébként is miért nem Kosztolányi vagy Ady? Hülyeség ez a Nobel-díj is..."

Hiába, az utca embere 8 általánossal mindig jobban tudta és mindig jobban is fogja tudni, mint a Svéd Királyi Akadémia.

Azon gondolkodom, mikor tudtunk valaki sikerének legutóbb köpködés nélkül örülni. Mert ugye a Saul fia Oscar-díja is "zsidó", a fociválogatottnak ellenszurkol az ország fele, a külföldre száműzött művészek meg ha sikeresek, akkor is gyalázni kell őket, ha meg nem... na akkor pláne.

Karikó Katalin egy nemzeti kincs - lehetne, ha nem lett volna egyből "asszonyság".

Karikó Katalin így viszont az amerikai álom (és a magyar rémálom) megtestesítője: az ember, aki egy darab semmivel kellett, hogy elhagyja a hazáját, és hosszú szívós munkával, tudással és tehetséggel felért a világ csúcsára.

Aki senkit nem érdekelt, amíg haszna nem lehetett belőle. Választott új hazájában lett igazán példakép.

Magyarországon ha valaki példát akar venni róla, az a példa, hogy menni kell, ha valamit nemzetközi szinten akarsz elérni.

Emlékszem, amikor Dárdait kinevezték a magyar válogatott élére és Bognár György a "magyar futballszakma meggyalázásáról beszélt ", hogy egy tapasztalatlan "senkit" választottak a magyar "nagyságok" helyett.

Karikó Katalin nem lenne Nobel-díjas, ha 1985-ben nem gyűjti össze a bátorságát és nem hagy mindent hátra. Nem azért jutott fel a csúcsra, mert magyar, hanem annak ellenére.

A világ rengeteget vesztett volna, ha Magyarországon marad. Ez valahol talán az ő személyes tragédiája is, de egy népé minden bizonnyal.

Magyarország pedig tovább dobálja a szemétbe a gyémántjait, hogy a salakot emelje a magasba. És fúrja, nyúzza, zsidózza, köpködi, ha valaki a középszernél jobb akarna lenni.

Maradj puha. Maradj langyos. Maradj szürke. Hagyd meg a nagyszerűt a többinek.

Often thinks of becoming a rocker boy or a solo. V prefer’s it if he’s a rocker boy instead of being a merc.

V and Kerry both paused when they said he asked out a girl and they said yes.

Joss Ward (River and V)

Is a mix between River and V’s personality.

High honor in class.

Great detective skills and marksmanship.

It’s awkward like her dad but vicious like her mom at the same time.

Will not hesitate to off a serial killer.

Either wants to be a detective but also be a Merc.

Saul Palmer (Panam and V)

Total rebel and born leader at the same time. Shares his mom’s tenacity but wisdom at the same time.

Knows his way around the Badlands.

Hates Raffen Shiv’s with a passion.

Thinks Rogue is cool.

Is a shit poster

Often listens to Swedleborg Riveira until V told him the truth about him.

Hypothetical Partners

Song So-Jung (Song So Mi and V)

Quiet most of the time.

Had major separation anxiety when she was a toddler.

Built computers when she was about 13.

Always asks her mom about netrunning and So Mi tells her she isn’t ready yet.

So Mi is genuinely protective over her. She doesn’t want to lose her like she did with Reed and Alex.

When she discovered her mom’s FIA past, So Mi had a long talk about it with her and V.

Repaired a Cerberus at age 14. She calls it Bee.

Issei Arasaka (Hanako and V)

Literally a more calmer and nicer Katsuo Tanaka.

Is an introvert and doesn’t have much friends. If at all.

Has silent family dinners with his parents. There’s always tension right there.

Hanako is barely in his life. V did most of the parenting. But when she was there, she would be the most withdrawn yet still loves their son.

Takemura is his uncle.

Brittany Stout (Meredith Stout and V)

Literal Queen Bee.

Has her mom’s explosive temper and knows kung fu.

Meredith sometimes is there but she always acts like she wants to be somewhere else.

V and Meredith still love her. They’re just too busy at the moment.

When she mentioned she’s asked out a guy on a date, Meredith stopped what she’s doing and congratulated her. She soon had snipers following the two in case something happens.

Going to talk a bit about the PL Ending so Spoiler warning Unpopular opinion incoming 👁👄👁

Unpopular cause everywhere I looked so far, people seems to be unpleased with how the ending handled the characters, especially Panam?

And I don't know, but her text messages + her not picking up the phone + Mitch's credit call seems... ok to me? Like- it makes sense considering all V said was "Hey so I'm going to leave for X time" and proceeded to ghost everyone for 2 years

Panam is shattered, broken, it shows in her text, hell she called V over 50 times, she probably lost sleep over it

I've seen people say "Why didn't they [Aldecaldos] went after V?" ghfhgfh nobody knew where V was, we're talking about the FIA and NUSA here 😶

I don't think Saul (who is still alive and leader of the Bright family in this ending) would... sent his whole clan at war against the literal gov hngnng

One of the reason he was ok helping V against Arasaka was because, despite the risk being HUGE, they had something to win on top of saving V's life, the pros balanced the cons

What pros are there at throwing your whole family to a guaranted death to save a member you might not even know is still alive?

Idk ghfh personally the Aldecaldos reaction didn't seem at all OOC to me... I know they tried to look for V, they couldn't get ANY hints of where V was, slowly lost hope and moved on...

I get it tho, it's fucking- sad hghf especially for a Nomad V who had found a new family, it shattered my heart too, I just think it's really logical, 2 years is a long ass time

I've meant to remake this post since the release of Phantom Liberty, but time got the best of me. It's here now, though, so here's the canonical endings for my three Vs.

Vincent’s (Corpo!V) Ending: After realizing his choices were Arasaka and the FIA, Vincent decided to take his chances with the NUSA government, opposed to the corporate folk who tried to kill him in the first place. He calls Reed on the rooftop of Misty's shop (after deciding against blowing his brains out then and there), and ends up being transported by medical staff to Langley for the experimental operation. It's a success… sort of. He's alive, and he's able to live a full life, but he's lost the ability to use any Cyberware as it puts too much strain on his nervous system. Likewise, he's been in a coma for two years. He didn't know he was going to be out this long, having only really told those close to him that he'd be back in a few week's time. As such, everyone's pretty much moved on and forgotten about him. Misty's shop is gone, and she's on her way to Poland for the forseeable future. Vik is a corporate doctor for Zetatech, and tells him straight up that there's nothing he can do. He becomes just another face in the crowd, and lets the legend of "V" fade away.

Vera’s (Nomad!V) Ending: Contacts Panam and the Aldecados for help. Being from a Nomad background and seeing Panam face a similar conflict that she faced leaving the Bakkers, Vera wants to at least help them before she ends up going out. Plus, she genuinely likes Panam and the crew. Definitely considers her family, and they ultimately come to think the same about her. She convinces Johnny to stay back in cyberspace with Alt, and takes her body back, knowing her chances are slim. Would rather risk it to help the Aldecados recover from the loss of Saul and everything else that’s happened.

Valerie’s (Streetkid!V) Ending: Takes on Arasaka solo and takes her chances at becoming a Night City legend. She and Johnny ended up forming a rather interesting friendship over their shared distaste toward Arasaka, which leads to her trusting him in taking the wheels and actually working with her. She doesn’t want to drag anybody down with her and really believes this is her battle and hers alone. Unfortunately, when push comes to shove, it means cutting Johnny loose and live what life she has left.

már rég megígértem a nagyimnak, hogy elviszem rá, és most lecsaptam az alkalomra, hogy újra vetítették 35-ről.

aggódtam, hogy túl sokkoló lesz egy 82 évesnek, aki centikre volt attól, hogy a házukkal együtt lebombázzák 45-ben, és nem mer tömegbe menni, de leghátulra és a legszélére ültünk, és valahogy most nem is volt olyan hangos, mint a korábbi alkalmakkor, amikor láttam (igaz most a Puskin Amarcordja volt, korábban meg a Puskin Metropolisa és a Kino).

a végén annyit mondott, hogy "dermesztő" volt, és elkezdett mesélni az ismerőseiről, akiket elvittek, vagy majdnem elvittek.

🎼 01295 「ABC」。

何処からとも無く 遊星からの物体Xを乗せた宇宙船がアメリカの西のほうの何処かの森に着陸し、物体Xが植物を採取しているところから始まります、慌てて飛び立った宇宙船に置いて行かれた 一体の物体Xと地球人との数日間を描いた ユニバーサル恐怖映画 「E.T. 」 を公開当時 (たぶん 有楽町マリオンになる前の "丸の内ピカデリー" で) 観に行った以来 久しぶりに観ています。スチーブン・スピルバーグ監督作品。ハロウィンの時期、とある家で暮らす 母子家庭の家の少年エリオットは ある夜に 庭で 奇妙ないきものと遭遇します。エリオットは家に誘い、止せばいいのに "それ" と暮らし始めるのですけれど、彼の家の犬だけは そのヤバさに気付きます。といった物語はさておき、わたしはこの映画が とてもとてもこわくって (わたしの こわい映画ベスト10に入ります)、ボバ・フェットや ランド・カルリシアンや ブラウン管の中のビッグバードの演技がいかに立派だったとしても わたしには 恐怖映画にしか映りません。特に "アメリカ航空宇宙局" がスクリーン狭しと暴れ回り始めるあたりは もうゼツボーしか感じません。他にも、鍵をじゃらじゃらしている男の "激突" 的なその雰囲気や、エリオットが仲良くなったあたりの化粧台の場面、鏡の中に何かが映っていたり、突然に電話が鳴り響いたり、部屋の中で ちょこまかしていたりする "それ" がお母さんにはなかなか見えなかったり、エリオットが通う学校の授業の場面が (何故か) カエルの解剖だったり、そのカエルの数が半端なかったり、家々が盗聴されていたり、エリオットが 大きなノコギリの刃で左手の人差し指をビッと切ったり、お兄ちゃんが謎の水色の車につけまわされたりと散々です。そんな中、調子のわるいエリオットと森の中で夜が明けた "それ" がアライグマに介抱されていた場面のあと、いきなり宇宙服を着た者々が玄関に現れた場面を過ぎた辺りで わたしは こらえられずに悲鳴を上げます。けれども、今回わたしが観ていたものは 「20周年記念特別版」 だったやうで、作り物の "それ" は 以前の奇怪なアニマトロニクスだったもののそのほとんどが 書き換えられていて (コンピューター・グラフィックスで作り替えられたっぽいです)、かつての不気味さは だいぶ半減されていました。

"ゾンダーコマンド (ドイツ語)：収容所用語で 特別な身分の囚人集団のこと。"秘密の運搬人 (ゲハイムニストレーガー)" とも言う。ゾンダーコマンドは他の囚人と引き離され、数ヶ月間働かされた後 抹殺される" という前書きと、人々がぞろぞろとひとつの方向に歩き流れて行くところから始まります、いつかの第二次世界大戦のころ、アウシュヴィッツ＝ビルケナウ強制収容所で ガス室に送られた人々の後片付けをする とある男の日々を描いた ハンガリー映画 「サウルの息子」 を観ています。ネメシュ・ラースロー監督作品。ウングバール出身のハンガリー人アウスランダーは ある日 ガス室でいき残ったこどもを見かけて、ソワソワし出します。彼の行動ひとつひとつがハラハラさせられ過ぎて息をするのも忘れてしまいさうになります この映画、救いはほとんどありません。

キュートだったころの ミア・ワシコウスカ似のガールがスクラブルを楽しんでいたあと、ジュリアン・ムーア似の女性が Elvis Costelloが描かれた白い Tシャツを着ながら皆で食事をしているところから始まります、ちょっと複雑な家族のこどもたちの日々を描いた 「キッズ・オールライト」 を (ひどい時期に封切られましたけれど) 何とかして観に行った あの日以来久しぶりに観ています。リサ・チョロデンコ監督作品。姉と弟は (姉が部屋の物置きで がさごそとしていた先で見つけた書類から) 精子バンク提供者と弟と会いに行ったことで 平穏さうに見えた家庭が がらがらがっしゃーんと崩れて行きます。ヤングだったころに 精子を提供した男性を 髭面のマーク・ラファロが演じていたりするこの映画、残念ですけれど 感情が爆発して 身体が緑色に変わったりしません。
