Keiko is a puppy mill survivor who luckily couldn’t breed so they gave her up to rescue at age 4, when we adopted her. Mordor was surrendered from an unethical Breeder that didn’t get his herniated belly button fixed because they didn’t want to put more money into him until they knew he was a show prospect. He came to us starving and hurt. Thank Goddess, the rescue was able to persuade the bad breeder to give him up. He was 10 months old when we got him. There are good breeders out there, but this was not one of them. Hey, guys.

I know I don’t have many followers, but if you could all signal boost this it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 13 month old kitten who was attacked by a dog today, and I really, really need help with the vet bill. He has surgery tomorrow and it’s supposed to be really difficult. He has air trapped in his chest cavity and I don’t know where it’s coming in from - they think it might be a punctured lung. They have him stable right now but they have him scheduled for emergency surgery tomorrow to save his life.

We have a gofundme set up if anyone can help with the costs, I just know that he is the sweetest kitten I’ve ever met and I will do anything I have to do to save his life. He’s my little buddy and I can’t let him go out like this, especially if there’s anything we can do to save him.

If y’all can’t donate to help, you can spread this link like wildfire and hopefully this sweet baby’s life can be saved and he can come home in a couple of days and live his best life with a momma and poppa that love him very much.

I recently joined a group that is fundraising money for Best Friends, to try and help lower the euthanizing of dogs and cats in shelters. Also to help them find forever homes for all these animals that cannot help themselves.

My family brought me home ...cradled in their arms. They cuddled me and smiled at me, and said I was full of charm. They played with me and laughed with me, they showered me with toys. I sure do love my family especially the girls and boys. The children loved to feed me, they gave me special treats. They even let me sleep with them all snuggled in the sheets. I used to go for walks, often several times a day. They even fought to hold my leash, I'm very proud to say. These are things I'll never forget a cherished memory. I now live in a shelter without my family. They used to laugh and praise me when I played with that old shoe. But I didn't know the difference between the old ones and the new. The kids and I would grab a rag for hours we would tug. So I thought I did the right thing when I chewed the bathroom rug. They said that I was out of control, and would have to live outside. This I did not understand although I tried and tried. The walks stopped, one by one; they said they hadn't time. I wish that I could change things, I wish I knew my crime. My life became so lonely, in the back yard on a chain. I barked and barked all day long to keep from going insane. So they brought me to the shelter but were embarrassed to say why. They said I caused an allergy, and then, kissed me goodbye. If I'd only had some classes, as a little pup I wouldn't have been so hard to handle when I was all grown up. "You only have one day left," I heard the worker say. Does this mean a second chance? Do I go home today?
