#saw swan lake at the abt the other night and I’m still foaming at the mouth over it#no offense but it was literally the greatest show I’ve ever seen them put on#everyone was so phenomenal even the audience was so enthusiastic#this is also turning into a devon teuscher fan page because I’ve literally never seen a better interpretation of odette/odile in my life#i didn’t know what to focus on her face her arms or her legs she was literally a moving work of art#her acting was phenomenal on top of the dancing too#when she came on as odile she literally had the audience captivated in a trance#the second she started the fouettés everyone was on their feet screaming she nailed them perfectly#the girl behind me gasped out loud when she jumped off the cliff and I was like girl me too!#also this was the most comprehensive production I’ve ever seen#when I saw swan lake with Gillian Murphy it was very much all about her which like I get because she’s a fucking powerhouse#but this was the first performance where it was about the whole company#i cared about Siegfried for the first time and I felt sympathetic towards Rothbard#really it was a privelage to see something this good#fully simped out and got tickets to see devon teuscher as Juliet on the 16th#lord help me
