See, there are TENS of THOUSANDS of iterators and they're all uniquely designed in some way. While you can sort them out into stages and generations maybe, they're not official. SBC has a different structure to Sulfur despite them being built in the same era
Every iterator is unique in the way that ancients tried constantly to refine and perfect the iterator model. That and these differences between iterators would allow for more variation and such for finding the Solution
Instead of generations, I go with "companies". Each company builds iterators in a specific style, which is most easily told by their puppet.
Example: - Sulfur, Membrane, Chain, and Waters were made by the same company, as you can tell by the "wire hair" - Quartz, NPM, and Catastrophes were made by a different company, as told by the lack of this "wire hair"

SBC speaks via really bad TTS and is hardly understandable outside of text, even before the beheading
