Hello! I miss seeing you in my feed 🥰 Regarding Scaramouche, I currently use 2 pc viridescent and 2 pc shimenawa on him since the new domain isn't treating me well. For my team comp, I put him on a team with Kazuha because I'm attached to him and with Bennett and Diona so he could get the pyro and cryo buff from his passive!

I don't think the new domain is treating anyone well hahahahha! I've just slapped a 4pc Viridescent on Scara for now while I'm figuring it out.

I know what you mean about being attached to Kazuha, I think that's what I feel about Zhongli as a shield, my team can't function without him lol. I was also looking at a Benny + Diona combo since the pyro and cryo buff from Scara's passive are nice! Benny is very team flexible as well, as in he fits in any team but I literally found out my Benny isn't built properly, idk what I was doing! Haahaha so I'll have to build him first. I'm contemplating on whether to build Diona further or not, but probably not. I did think that Benny/Diona have pretty much similar uses though (Both of them heals, and I've always had the mindset that if I have a shield, then I don't need another healer in the team since the shield will protect from damage or vice versa)

Feel insecure, aren't they enough? You took their artefacts to give them to another, the problem is surely coming from them. Suddenly, when you login again, their stats are higher and it takes longer for them to run out of stamina. They'll try to satisfy you just please keep them.

I sort of had this dream of a 'technically is but technically isn't Anastasia' AU for Scaramouche, borrowing from both the 1997 movie and the musical. More under the cut.

Basically, Nahida stumbles across records of a person named 'Kunikuzushi' but Ei angrily takes away the records.

Zhongli explains to Nahida about the Cataclysm that unalived Ei's sister Makoto and her first son, Kunikuzushi along with many other people the archons loved, including Nahida's predecessor.

One day, as Nahida got older, she decides to find out the truth about the Cataclysm in secret.

Meanwhile, Scaramouche is a member of the Fatui who has no memories of his past (having them being manipulated by Dottore to think that his birth mother hated him and abandoned him)

Lo and behold, due to Deus Ex MachinaTM, while investigating an old house, Scara and Nahida stumble upon each other.

Recognizing Nahida, Scara decides to attempt kidnapping her too along with those valuable artefacts he was searching for.

However, during the ChaseTM, Scara trips and falls down. Nahida recognizes a drawing of a boy resembling him.

After some persuasion, Nahida asks Scara some questions about his past and Scara is an Unreliable NarratorTM.

Nahida puts 2 and 2 and realizes Scara MAY be Kunikuzushi.

She offers a deal: If she helps him find out about his past, Nahida will hand over her Gnosis to him. After all, a young man will get a family and hopefully, some ghosts can be put to rest.

Scara initially thinks this is all sus but curiosity wins over and he decides to investigate.

Signora overhears everything and decides that she's not gonna let Scara have the Gnosis. In fact, no one but her will have the Gnosis

She reports to Dottore about this and he merely says something cryptic abt patience and the right opportunity.

Meanwhile, on the journey to Inazuma, Nahida educates Scara on Kunikuzushi's past, the archons, Ei and more.

When she brings up Yae Miko, she didn't hear him grumble "I always hated that damn fox!"

As they go on the trip, Scara sort of mellows out and he warms up to Nahida, seeing her as a sister.

During a boat ride, one of the ships is hijacked by the Fatui. But Nahida's a smart girl so eventually, she finds a way to reach Inazuma in time for Ei's birthday. Along the way, they learn more secrets abt themselves and the Cataclysm

Signora is surprise surprise, none too pleased so she decides to take measures into her own hands alongside Dottore.

Of course, the other archons are here to visit Ei and either Venti or Yae Miko could be Sophie/Lily.

Venti/Yae Miko interview Scara to make sure he's the real deal bc of some imposters in the past making Ei cynical abt the idea that Kunikuzushi's alive. Scara passes all the questions including a personal one on the feather. A question all the imposters failed.

So they spruce him up for the celebration and Nahida excuses herself to talk to Ei.

Ei however, is none too happy about all of this. Thinking Nahida was being deceived and that "No matter how hard that imposter will try, he will NEVER be Kunikuzushi!"

Scara overhears this and becomes angry at the betrayal. As well as him still having some of Dottore's manipulated memories resurface.

Scara goes rogue and attacks, causing Signora and Dottore to emerge. The Fatui attack Inazuma.

After a MASSIVE calling out from Nahida, Ei decides to at least open up her heart and try to believe Scara but when she arrives, she sees Yae Miko unconscious.

Nahida attempts to talk to Scara but it's futile. Ei intervenes and attempts to reason with him, saying the words she said long ago: "Go! Be free my little bird..."

Scara remembers his past and shows his feather to her. Ei recognizes it and knows it's the real deal.

But the family reunion is cut short bc of Dottore and Signora

The archons throw hands and there's an epic battle where Ei kills Signora like in the game

Scara decides to deal with Dottore himself, killing Dottore by declaring that it was all for vengeance.

And so, everyone can now truly celebrate and live happily ever after.

Well, Kunikuzushi/Scara states that now he knows his family, he's gonna explore the world for a while and bids them a Scara-style farewell for now.

Ei is content with knowing her son is alive and allows him to see the world, knowing one day, he'll come back (she's right)

Genshin Impact Player Saves 400 Million Mora, Aiming for 1 Billion

This committed Genshin Impact player exercised sufficient self-control to accumulate 400 million mora. It would take a lot of time and effort to reach their goal of earning $1 billion, and it also requires that they resist the impulse to overspend mora on the game's essential elements, such upgrading characters or artefacts. A Redditor named Some-Good-Dranks is the persistent player in question, and they have a whole routine that’s helped them get this far. Other players have also earned millions of mora, but the difference here is that it’s being saved to reach a goal. Some-Good-Dranks usually completes 15 ley lines each day, which provides about 900,000 mora. Then comes the daily commissions to add another 70,000 or so. This amount of mora can only be earned from daily commissions if you’ve reached AR60, as all Adventure Rank experience gets automatically changed into mora for players at max level. If you want those extra mora benefits, there are a few ways to maximise your Genshin Impact levelling strategy. This daily mora routine also includes an artifact run that nets them around 130 low-rarity artifacts to destroy to earn about 80,000 mora. Defeated enemies that drop spare change here and there are also counted. All this, on top of three million from each battle pass, and everything that has already been found through 100% exploration. Some-Good-Dranks laid out all of their methods and estimations in a Reddit thread for others to see, and they’ve even calculated how long it should take to reach the one billion mora goal. scaramouche was always the one to shut oneself away, but when you're with him.. he's a totally different person. • scaramouche was always known to be cold towards people, even towards his comrades. • that was until he met you! you changed scaramouche(a bit) • whenever scaramouche is at a meeting for the fatui, you would be there too - ofc many of the fatui members are a bit surprised. i mean like, scaramouche? bringing in someone? during a meeting? • scaramouche glared at them, a glare that meant "say anything about them and i will beat. ur. ass." and ofc they dont say anything. • while scaramouche sat down, you on the other hand was observing all the artefacts that surrounded the fatui table. • you asked scaramouche if u could touch them and scaramouche being absolutely soft for u, allowed u - even if they weren't his. how could anybody say no to u? • scaramouche would allow you to hug him, scaramouche hates pda. but when it comes to u he 100% allows it. oh you want to hold his hand? sure thing, but only in private. you want to hug me? okay. just dont hug me very tightly. • scaramouche being soft towards you comes with it's perks! scaramouche allows u to put hair is funny hairstyles, allows u to wear his clothes, allows u to wear his hat. • every time scaramouche takes a look at you, his eyes are at ease, just you in general can make scaramouche say "yes" to everything u ask. • when the sun is shining on you face, as it compliments your features - scara cant help but just stare at ur face and take in all the beauty. sometimes he finds himself staring at you with such awe.

yeah!! xiao is one of my most favourite characters, together with albedo and scaramouche 🥺💚 i started playing for him uszhssh in i was so ready to toss out all my primos and money to get him but i was so lucky to get him in my first ten pull 😭 i really wanna get the jade spear for him but dhgshsbs i hate pulling in the standard banner haha

xiao is such a soft tsundere, he needs all the love and hugs and someone to show him the nice things in life

I always worry when I post my rambles. I know I run this as a fanfic blog but, at the end of the day, I’m an all around Genshin fan through and through and I would assume most of my followers are too.

I just love talking about Genshin, all my gamer friends are from my sweaty WoW days and they either still play WoW or now play other MMORPG’s. Everyone’s addicted to Lost Ark right now, which is understandable because holy hell that game ridiculously fun and I’m also very much addicted to it right now as well haha

But er, I digress, there’s a lot of things I bet most people overlook. Such as interesting NPC dialogues, lore hidden deep or locked behind time limited events that most people may not have completed (Like Childe telling us about Scaramouche going AWOL at the end of the Halloween event. Which I can imagine a lot of people skipped since they were long and arduous rougelite (kind of) dungeons) and I just want to share them with you all haha

And I know I trash talk Genshin quite abit, especially the artefact system lmao, but I truly do love the game. I don’t know why I never played it when it first released, the game really is right up my alley.

Anyways in, what is becoming far to common for me, I’ve gone on tangent again. Thanks for ask Anon, it really made me smile :)

i'm trying to motivate myself to farm his bis set but it's honestly really hard (ar 59, burnt out as hell). That and I don't really have a team comp built around bloom reactions so it's not as efficient.

Also the information I give below is my personal suggestion, also gotten from several guides I've followed.

As of now, I'd recommend a mix of any of the 2-pieces between the ones that give +15% anemo damage bonus and +18% atk, or 4 piece shimenawa, if you don't mind not having his burst up as much. Obviously the newest one is the best for him but ya girl's tired™ with artifact farming so he'll take what he can get for now.

For weapons, aside from his signature, all of the 5-star catalysts with atk/crit substats can work for him (kagura's, lost prayer, skyward atlas). 4 stars include the dodoco tales, the widsith, solar pearl, and mappa mare—the blackcliff catalyst works too but it's not as viable.

The team comps... Imma be honest with you, mine is also clunky. It's recommended that you have a good shielder because he's super vulnerable to getting interrupted— i haven't tried him out for abyss because I don't have a good comp for him, and also because faruzan never came home (plus apparently she's only good at c6) so his damage isn't like floor 12 clear worthy just yet. One team comp I wanted to try is double pyro + anemo with venti, bennett and ideally thoma for the shield, but I don't have thoma built 💀 there are others like a taser team with a hydro character + two electro ones (ex. Fischl + beidou), but again, ideally he needs a shield and I don't have beidou built either. Another is freeze with layla, but I don't have her. I have diona built but her shield isn't as strong.

TL;DR I don't have a solid group recommendation, sorry ;-;

Anyway yeah, here's my take on his builds. You can probably find tons of these in the internet already, anyways. Sorry for rambling in your inbox!

Artefacts...Well, just like you it'll take some time to farm the new domain so I've slapped a 4pc Viridescent on him for now. But also I don't really know if I want the new artefact on him, I know it's the ideal one but I think Viridescent is better for elemental reactions and I love playing with that (except that I don't even have much proper elemental reactions with his current team comp, lol. So I'm still going to farm for the new artefact)

I also wanted to do double pyro with benny and thoma but just like you my thoma isn't built and I don't think I really want to build him if he's not a very flexible team player (e.g. If I can't put him in other teams I'm not gunna bother) So my current team for Scara right now is Yunjin (for the Normal Attack and Attack Speed buff) + Zhongli (for the shield) so that gives me double Geo with 15% damage increase and the last character I usually switch it in and out depending on what elemental reaction I want plus the talent effect on Scaramouche. The problem with this team comp is that it doesn't really play a lot with elemental reactions hahaha it just seems very limited, but it works, since my Yunjin and Zhongli has been properly built since forever and they are very flexible characters. Much like you I've been constantly looking at other shielders though, to at least get a non-geo character to be a shield (I always feel like putting a Geo in an anemo forward team is a waste but I don't have a lot of choices at the moment haha)

True that there are a lot of online guides but most of them rely on Faruzan! That and they almost always assume that we have all the characters built and don't really mix and match a lot of diff characters so its nice to hear what others have!

I'm surprised you didn't get Faruzan tho! Haha.... I C6ed her before I even got Scaramouche...I guess he was being real stubborn, lost my 50-50 to Diluc before I got him but eh, I like Diluc.

Hello everyone! Long time no post! :D 

Just saying hello and also just wanting to have some sharing and discussion over here. First off, how are your pulls for Scaramouche? :D I absolutely put my heart into him hahaha and I’ve built him enough now, just missing leveling up his talents. 

If you’ve built Scaramouche, I was wondering what you have on him, artefacts wise and team comp/build wise. I’m having trouble finding a team composition I’m comfortable with and I’m not using Faruzan with him either (I just don’t have the patience to build Faruzan!!!) Just pitch in if you have an idea and if you want to share :D

About my pregnancy...well, it’s a long story and I’ll save another time to tell that story. Rest assured, everything is fine! :D 

Hope everyone is doing well too. I have something in the works, Genshin fanfiction wise, but it will take more time to get it done :)
