Another day, another picnic! We learned how to sandwich as a team (well, kinda). Followed by a dance party 🥳. I think Azumarill heard eggs just appear inside a little basket like Santa leaves presents under the Christmas tree. She is waiting 👀.
So I’ve recently just got a switch back and I’ve been really excited to play violet, like I didn’t look into anything about it as I wanted everything new to me when I played it. Now I’ve just chose the cutest little grass kitty and I’m running about and nothing feels right and it doesn’t feel like Pokémon. I’ve been a fan for pretty much my whole life, and gen 9 doesn’t feel right ??? Like the glowing items, the running ?!?! , even just the way everything feels isn’t right…
It’s making me feel like it could ruin Pokémon for me, or at least kinda. Like I didn’t enjoy some games, I wasn’t that into black & white and I wasn’t that into let’s go, and truthfully diamond & pearl & the switch remakes whilst iconic, are mediocre but still enjoyable… this doesn’t seem like something I can pretend to enjoy.
What’s everyone’s opinions on scarlet and violet? Does it get better ? Is the open world and the way the game mechanics are now really that bad ?
Didn't really like the starters so took Sprigatito through the tutorial and started the game with Fidget the Shuppet. Caught a Squawkabilly to help with the Grass gym and fell in love, I called him Rockit. The textures and general jankyness are REAL apparent, but I'm enjoying the battles and general gameplay quite a lot! Got my Cyclizar too! Called him Moto. B)
Go to this List of Pokemon by Height on Bulbapedia and choose your favorite pokemon who's the same height as you. That's who you'd be if you were a Pokemon!
I'll go first: I'm 4' 11" so I would be... Delphox!
