Gosh! I can't wait until we get our first real glimpse at Tails. Its going to be totally wild! I mean he'll be 25 years older than Canon. The suspense is killing me. How much will he have changed with age. Will he have blamed himself for Sonic's disappearance? How would that affect him and his personality? How would being "taken care of" by Shadow and Rouge of all people affect his personality? I'm just spit-balling here, don't feel the need to answer my questions if you don't want to.

(You're quite fine!) - Sorry for takin' so darn long to get the story out, for what it's worth! I can't hand out a bunch of spoilers, but I'll gladly offer some speculation. Tails is such a great character to slap a bunch of nuance onto, because he's so storied, and I'm looking forward to working with him :] I suppose the brief glimpse from pg29 below wasn't much in the way of clarification on how the guy's actually doing these days:

--But yes, those are all things I'm looking forward to exploring. He's like a very orange and very fluffy chao - hang out with enough Dark Story Mode buddies, and surely something will happen, right...? 'Cause that's definitely how that works. Yup.

Lo-fi: Deltarune oc based on the boombox that Napstablook uses. They are a silly little guy that SCC picks up and runs off with <3 child acquired (well more like Lo-fi just. Showed up in front of their studio and they were like "who is this sad lost child?")

Hearth: A character for a game called Dream Aflame. She lives on a soul-fueled, flying pirate ship with two others, all of which were previously captured on said ship (they all managed to get free and fed their captors to the ship lol). She also has a sentient lizard tail named Dessy :]

Kitey: A party member in Paint City, residing in the Paypre region. He's the nephew to Captain Mints, and is expected to eventually become a captain himself when he's older. Unfortunately, he's a bit (understandably) terrified of having to fight monsters.

Marble: This one is pre-incident™ so he's itty bitty and squishable :] unlike the older one which i want to bite and throw into a blender. He still has friends! Yay!

This is a Red White Heart Symbols Dog With Bow And Shoes Plush and it was pretty soft while unique.

This plush had a little wear, lint, scratches on the eyes, ware on the eyes, some dirt on the plush that I tried my best to clean, and strings loose.

The Red White Heart Symbols Dog With Bow And Shoes Plush did have a tush tag but not a hang tag.

I wish this plush had a hang tag since the tush tag didn't have a company name on it to better identify it.

I would love to know if there are more colors and styles of this dog plush since it has a 80s plush aesthetic to it.

The Red White Heart Symbols Dog With Bow And Shoes Plush is 8 inches from the tip of the face on the head to the tail, is 9 inches from the tip of the face to the butt, and 10 inches from the top of the head to the foot.

• scc all have different problems when it comes to sleeping . capn sleeps like a rock but has issues actually GETTING to sleep, k_k can slump over n sleep at any time but can be woken up by the slightest sound, and sweet has a hard time even GETTING in bed since they're probably working late

• sweets speaker model is actually much smaller than the other speakers in the librarby, meaning their family is much taller than them, and giving them a little height envy when around others

• similarly to sweets plug tail, capn and k_k have removable aux tails, but they don't find it very practical to have so they always just kinda . keep it in a drawer somewhere

• due to their...underground status, it's actually pretty hard for scc to make money off their business before the lightners came, but they always SOMEHOW make rent in the end thankfully

• k_k can absolutely shred on a keytar

• in terms of dancing, k_k is obviously the most skilled, give 'em a type of dance n they'll probably know how to do it! cap'ns pretty good at breakdancing, but when it comes to slow dances he boasts abt knowing how to do them but always gets flustered around sweet/k_k when they have to. now sweets...a hard one. they love dancing but sometimes get too lost in the groove and forget about their imbalance issues and end up falling on their face. they often need to recollect themselves after that, and if they're around people, they'll definitely get embarrassed.

•ok last one . their light world equivalents are in pretty good condition, but they have their issues

sweet's speaker has a thick layer of static backing audio from overuse, which affects how they sound in the dark world, n have a tendency to get the same static if they put too much pressure on their speakers

cap'n's screen has a pretty big crack in it from being dropped once, which leads his left eye to have the same crack, n his eye light to glitch out sometimes

k_ks in the best condition, but some of the circuitry is all bugged out, which SPECIFICALLY causes them to have no pain receptors in the dark world

the scc’s body types are so fun to draw . they’ve ended up being the characters that i’m most particular about drawing the human ver. bodies of simply because they’ve got. a lotta detail

sweet: transmasc, top surgery scars (double incision type) are a detail not seen a lot but they’re there when i draw him shirtless. has semi~wide hips, also not noticeable unless he’s undressed bc he wears baggy clothes, but also something i take note of while sketching his body. the metal over his mouth goes across midway up the cheek and up to just under his nose, and the metal ring it’s attached to around the very top of his neck goes all the way around. Robotic limbs start at his mid-thighs and mid-upper arms, leaving his shoulders, pelvis, and entire torso flesh. I’ve also realized he should be the only human scc that lacks a tail.

cap’n: robotic limbs are his arms from just under the shoulder down, his lower body from the hips down, and a metal casing inside of his chest that’s only visible at his neck. he’s plus size, has a pear-body type, with stretch marks on his belly, thighs and back, around the hips, and on his chest. one side of his chest is also a slightly different size than the other due to complications with the metal casing. might also have cellulite but i’m not sure.

k_k: very lanky, basically not a curve on their body. robotic parts include everything from the upper neck down, and their eyes. most prone to internal pain due to their outer body being metal but their organs being not. really not that many details since they don’t have that much flesh or real body type.

hm. love these three. i should sketch myself proper references of their body types sometime just for sakes

Who's the one sent into the castle undercover, who's mission control, who's the one tailing the one undercover to keep an eye on them, and how and when does it all go wrong? (Bonus points if Queen knew all along and just let them fuck around bc it was funny)

SWEET CAP'N CAKES IMAGINE||SHORT(not really)STORY-

MISSION: GET QUEENS CHAIR!

Sweets, Cap'n and K_K were all in the shop making some things outta scrap for a couple clients. While in the middle of shaping some of that scrap, K_K stopped what he was doing and shot his head up and towards his brother's(pals instead if you'd like) and had the biggest grin and had a sparkle in his eye.

Sweets had taken notice because of the sudden clambering noise of tools abruptly being put down from across the room. He looked over to see which of his brothers had done it and caught sight of K_K.

"What's going down?" Sweets tilted his head, confusion apparent with his body language considering he didn't really have facial muscles being robotic.

Cap'n, breaking out of his hyper fixation on his scrap project, immediately shot his own head up and looked at Sweets and K_K and then did it a second time. Now he was confused.

The holes on his forehead served as eyebrows for himself, so they furrowed slighlty-

"What'd I miss? What's going on?" Cap'n was so focused onto his work that he thought he had missed the conversation.

Sweets shook his head, trying to indicate that there was nothing missed.

After Sweets shook his head K_K went on to speak. “Haven’t you guys ever wondered how comfortable Queen’s floating chair is?..” Immediately Cap’ns face lit up. “Heck yeah I have!” He exclaimed. “I’ve always wanted to ride that thing. Not like she’d let us though.” After finishing his sentence, his face slightly dimmed.

Sweets just nodded along, he went back to working on his scrap project while also tuning into what his brothers were saying. “So, why don’t we find out?” Said K_K.

“OHHH, Dude- Like a mission?” Cap’n was liking the sounds of this.

Sweets was modeling the scrap with a hammer, one hand keeping it down in place while the other swung in the location where it needed to be dented. Upon hearing what his brothers were talking about, his eye widened, looking up at them and no longer paying attention to where he was hitting, so he accidentally hit his finger as he swung down. “AH-“ he cried out and dropped the hammer. He starting to swing his hand back and forth as if it were going to stop the pain.

K_K and Cap’n jumped at the sudden cry and turned towards Sweet. “Are you ok?” Cap’n asked frantically, running over to him along with K_K. “I’m fine, I’m fine-“ Sweets tried reassuring them.

“But you guys better just be kidding about that whole mission thing!” He said. “There’s no way we’re doing that. If we didn’t do it for that little funky smelling guy, what makes you think we’d go into Queen’s castle just to sit on a darn floating chair?” Sweets eyelid furrowed downwards appearing irritated or annoyed.

It’s not that he was trying to be mean. He gets it, he does. That chair was pretty cool..looks pretty comfy at that. Oh man, imagine going around places in that thing?- or what if?- WAIT, NO-

Immediately Sweets shook his head. Dumb thoughts, there’s no way they’re doing something that stupid.

…

Or so he thought.

Fortunately, Sweets gave in after much persuasion from K_K and Cap’n. So now the plans a GO! Mission; GET QUEENS CHAIR!

After some time had passed they came up with a decent plan. Sweets was actually getting a bit excited, K_K was rocking with anticipation and Cap’n was getting his disguise ready.

“Alright, so here’s the plan..” Sweets had his brothers sitting on the ground crisscrossed all in a circle. In the middle of them was a badly drawn, scribbled piece of paper with areas of the castle.

“Why’s the paper scribbled on?” Asked Cap’n. “Ran out of good paper. So I just used a piece we had lying around.. I probably should’ve went out to buy some, huh?” Sweets was now questioning his life choices- K_K snapped him out of it though.-

“So enough messing around! Here we go..” Sweets inhaled as if he had lungs.

“Cap’ns going in undercover. I would’ve done it myself but someone needs to be able to do mission control. Which I’ve given that role to myself. That being said, K_K, you’re going to tail Cap’n.”

While Cap’n nodded in response to the whole thing, K_K raised his hand.

“Yessss?” Said sweets.

“Why can’t I do the whole undercover thing?” K_K asked.

“Uh-“

“Because I called dibs on it first.” Said Cap’n cutting Sweets off before he could even respond.

“Dang!” Said K_K. Slightly shaking his head.

After some time of discussion of the layout of the castle and arguments of what some of the words said because multiple scribbles crossed the whole thing, they were ready.

Cap’n had his disguise on. Coat, hat, fake mustache and pipe- Wait pipe? Mustache?

“CAP’N, REALLY?” Sweets put a hand on his hip and one on his forehead. He shook his head and then walked away.

“What? You didn’t say what I could and couldn’t dress up as.”

Sweets waved it off, time was ticking and the faster they got this over with probably the better.

After everything was situated they traveled off to Queen’s castle.

Standing right outside it now they all turned to look at each other. A quick little nod from all of them and they all split ways. Cap’n went in, K_K trailed close by and Sweets was sitting outside with a mini station he crated under a big cardboard box he was hiding under.

As Cap’n was entering the castle he couldn’t help but be somewhat in awe.

He gazed around just before a thought popped in his head. “Where’s the security in this place?” It was admittedly a little weird for him but I guess that just makes the plan much more smoother for him and his bros.

As K_K was keeping his distance from Cap’n he heard something in another room he was passing by. It sounded like meowing?…

He decided he wanted to check it out so he peeked around the corner leading into the room. It was the task manager playing with the cats. K_K had to hold back his adoration for the cats since they were so cute.

He could stay here a while right? Just watching her play with the cats? Yeah, he thinks he’s just gonna do that. Cap’n should be ok! He can handle himself well. And if he needs him he can just call out for help.

Cap’n continued further into the castle, walking down long halls, each leading to a different part of the place.

He grumbled. “How hard can it be to find that stinkin’ floating chair?” He mumbled to himself. While he was looking along the walls there was a picture of the Mona Lisa- or what’s suppose to be but with the Queens face smashed on. “…o…ok?” That was a little odd to Cap’n but whatever. While his eyes were glued to it(He doesn’t even know why) he bumped into a swatchling that was sweeping the halls.

“Oh, I’m so sorry! Please forgive me fo-“

The swatchling paused. Unsure of who this…unusual person was.

“Who..are you?” The swatchling questioned, tone indicating that he knew something was up.

“M-me? Oh. I’m here to speak to Queen.” Cap’n coughed- He deepened his voice in order to distort it from his original one. But because it was so sudden it cracked a bit-

“May I ask what for?” The swatchling seemed to be pushing in on the questioning.

“Uh, about the rebels of course!” Quickly Cap’n announced. “I have intel on them. I’d like to help Queen put a stop to those..Uh.. hooligans. Yeah.” He rocked slightly back and forth.

The swatchling looked him up and down. What seemed like to be a gaze of approval from him, and then he gave Cap’n a nod.

“Well the Queens out and about in town as far as I know. If you’d like, I can take you to our guest area—“

“Nah, actually she asked me to come get her floating chair for her. See, I knew she was out in town. I was just checking if YOU knew that.” Cap’n said, smirk forming on his face all of a sudden.

“Oh? But why would Sh-“

“Ah, ah, ah. I’m not done talking!” Said Cap’n, putting his hand out and wagging his index finger.

Immediately the Swatchling shut his mouth.

Cap’n continued on.”So, with this being said, she also wanted me to make sure you’re doing your job right.” The Swatchling stiffened- Hoping that he didn’t screw up. “You passed.” The smirk fading and a smile taking its place instead.

The swatchling sighed with relief. “I see. Well if there’s anything I can help you with..please let me know.” Just before the Swatchling turned away Cap’n stopped him. “I do actually. She never told where the chair was so if you could take me there that’d be great.”

“Absolutely! Please follow me.”

Cap’n had a little listening device on his back, so whatever was being said Sweets could hear.

For awhile Sweets was totally freaking out. Thinking Cap’n was gonna blow it but to his pleasant surprise, he didn’t. Yet.

After a bit more walking around the castles halls, Cap’n finally arrived in the room where the chair was. The swatchling looked at him. “Will that be all?”

“Mhmm.” Said Cap’n. He was having a bit of trouble holding back the unbridled joy he was currently having. The chair was right there, all for the taking. K_K and Sweets were gonna be stoked.

The Swatchling left the room while Cap’n ran over to the chair. He immediately plopped onto it, sinking and leaning backwards.

“Ohhh…this things so comfortableeee.” He said to himself out loud in the room.

It wasn’t too hard for him to figure out how to get the thing working. As soon as it went up he bounced on it as if a kid getting overly excited about something.

Thankfully, he remembered how to get OUT of the castle. Which was great! Because he didn’t want to be stuck there another minute.

As he exited the room with the chair it started acting up a bit. It seemed to be swerving ever so slightly but it was noticeable enough for him to acknowledge it. He shrugged it though, not really minding.

As he continued down the halls, it started to act up more. It jolted from side to side, up and down and even started twirling around.

“Ok, somethings up.-“ Cap’n stopped for a split second. Having both his arms on the armrests, he leaned over and looked over both sides of the chair. He didn’t see anything and it was working fine just earlier. So what the heck is going on?

Next thing you know, the chair went sky high, hitting Cap’n hard on the head on the ceiling before it lowered back down quickly.

“THATS IT!” Cap’n wasn’t putting up with it anymore. He jumped off the chair and just pushed it down the halls instead.

After sometime of doing that tedious task, he saw K_K peeking into a room.

Wait, that’s what he was doing? No wonder he didn’t see him! He was here doing whatever the heck he’s doing now.

Cap’n whisper yelled and motioned for K_K. K_K whipped around and he almost yelled once he saw what Cap’n had. Cap’n immediately put a hand out and one up to his mouth- trying to shush K_K. He got the message and slapped his hands over his own mouth.

“You got the chair!” Whisper yelled K_K.

“Yeah but it’s actin real funky.”

“Really?” K_K seemed a little confused. It looked ok to him, plus, if something really was wrong with it why would Queen practically ride it everywhere?

“Whatever it is though we’ll just fix it back up at the shop. Now let’s go!”

K_K nodded in agreement.

Just as they were nearing the exit, bars slammed down- now blocking anyone from entering or leaving.

Oh boy-

K_K and Cap’n looked at each other worriedly.

“Did you get caught??” Asked K_K.

“What, no? I did pretty well actually.”

“Then why are we stuck in here?”

“I don’t know!”

All of a sudden there was laughter. The Queen’s laughter.

Both boys straightened up as they got chills. They were in it now.

They heard the clinking of heels against the ground..They slowly turned around and surely enough, low and behold- It was Queen.

“HOHOHO, Did you really think you could steal my chair from me?” She asked, clearly amused.

“Well hot mama-“

Immediately there was distant angry yelling..presumably from Sweets.

“What he was trying to say was that we just really wanted to try out your chair.” Said K_K.

“You got all that from him calling me a ‘Hot Mama’ ?” The words HUH appearing on the screen on her face.

“No.”

“Wait…if you knew- That means you were the one messing with the chair controls!” Yelled Cap’n, pointing a finger at her.

“Oh of course. How could I not?” The words LMAO popped up replacing the last words. Queen once again laughed regally while she brought up her battery acid wine glass to her mouth.

“Did you honestly think I wouldn’t know if someone got ahold of my beloved chair?” She swirled her wine glass as she tapped her foot. “I’ve been keeping an eye on all 3 of you. How did you not expect me to not notice you? I have screens everywhere in here!” She stated.

That made sense. Cap’n just thought she really liked watching TV or something.

In the end, All 3 were booted off the castle premises and the only one who got to even sit in the chair was Cap’n.

So much for that.

but I do want to input that as far as shipping goes: I'd imagine it's cuz sometimes your posts come off as "headcanon police"y and could easily be interpreted as "hate" themselves, I think maybe some tone indicators or "rant" disclaimer would help a lot (assuming the hate asks do have backbone and aren't just people being rude and mad for the sack of being rude and mad) I'm really sorry if this ask reads as passive aggressive, I don't intend it to be. I just remember feeling that your post about "why do people portray sweet as jaded" was phrased kinda aggressively, like complaining about "mischaracterization" thats actually just "not characterized by your interpretation, like I feel the best thing about scc is how much was left for intepreatation and thus how creative and varied but still have the same vibe fanworks of them have, so seeing posts looking down on these creative works from a very creative an amazing artist felt a little odd: but I am autistic, so I might have just misunderstood the tone completely ^^*

while I have the confidence to send this ask I might as well add that your lineart is SO good and I must have watched your scc animation at least 10 times: at least 3 of those time was on low speed as I paused at every frame, and I also just really appreciate that you give ralsei a tail, the fluffy boy deserves a fluffy tail *applause*

anyway that wasn't meant to be heacanon policing, i feel justified being upset w people mischaracterizing scc, sweet in this case, bc ppl will make sweet's defining character trait "grmpy straight man character" when he isn't ! he is not at all the straight man character, if anything, capn kinda is? since he's the only one to point out something not making sense (like kk asking to buy a bagel when he's selling them) whereas sweet goes perfectly along with kk saying he wants to be a car. sweet Does get angry, we see that before and after their fight, but they were also very easily convinced (by kk, not really capn) to stop being mad and was immediately happy again. overall sweet is just emotional, and i don't like that people stop at "mad". and then making them the straight man character was wrong to begin with. their characterization is just so clear to me i don't get why people think he's jaded. now I'm worried abt that also sounding mean when i didn't intend it so but Well. maybe i deserve to be mean. as a treat /j
