ORANGE COLA MY BELOVED. Is this not a thing anywhere else? It is basically just a coke mixed with. fanta I think? A bit more orange flavoured, but that's the closest thing I can compare it too! Also GERMAN snack boxes?? What is in there besides gummibears (and coke apparently, what)?? Also it does probably taste best from the fridge, or with ice, or with a slice of lemon – have fun with it! (also thank youuuu)

also i have created words because they sound like they're the word that fits in that place in the sentence. i was always confused why nobody else could hear how the word just fit perfectly in the sentence.

Now that I think about it I might mainly be complaining about one schwip fic author but they're so big in that side of the fanbase that I can't stand it. Like why is Gem against Scott joining the WRA and her brother's relationship with him? It's so out of character. And not to mention how Pearl always ends up as a one note character in their stories.

I wish that fic where Gem was supportive over fWhip's crush on Scott would update. I genuinely enjoyed it.

A (very rough) snippet of the next chapter of Silver Scars. Sorry this has taken me literal months to get out. I kept getting side tracked by myriad other things haha. But hoping to have this next chapter (and maybe the final chapter?) out in the next couple of days:

“Oh! You fool,” he exclaims, though his tone is suffused with affection. Adrian’s blonde brows are crinkled across his forehead and his mouth is set in a worried frown as he gently lays me down on the sofa in the library. My wound looks worse than it is, the crimson bloom on my shirt growing larger by the second. A slow, wet schwip sounds as Adrian carefully pulls the garment away from my body. The diagonal wound along my abdomen has thankfully bypassed any important organs. A little deeper and I would surely have been felled. 

Adrian quickly gets to work cleaning and stitching back together my injury. He gives me a glass of some dark liquor that burns in my throat as I swallow it.

“For the pain,” he murmurs, concentration scrunching up his face. Warmth spreads through my chest and I’m not sure if it’s the alcohol or how close I am to Adrian.

its truly amazing to watch someone gain a better and better grasp on language every single day. and also heartbreaking that he has already stopped saying some hilarious things as he learns. our neighborhood cat is no longer TeeTee to him, just her name, Tilly. but he is now old enough to have little jokes he makes to himself that he thinks are funny like whatever schwip schwap schweep is. i will be so sad the day smat sma becomes spatula but i am so full of pride and joy seeing him learn. complicated feelings about it all, i love him being little and i cannot wait for him to grow up
