Science and magic are the same- I would say that science is a subdivision of magic. The widely accepted term 'magic' is for something that's simply less understood by the masses. There is no argument, to me, of what is 'real,' and no reason to abandoning one for the other. Science deals only with things that are universally repeatable and observable- anything that can be easily met with the scientific method.

Magic, however, is a deeply personal thing to weild and witness. Witchcraft is unrepeatable. It's impossible to count the variables. Things like ritual craft, energy work, intention, tradition, diety worship- they are personal to every person, god, plant, crystal, animal, knife, table, cloth, or other spirit/material that is a factor in that magic.

And this less understood 'magic' is just as real and influential in this world as the laws of astrophysics, the nature of cell division, or the erosion of stone.
