I love how jewellery is a big sentimental thing for him and his friends. The necklace he’s wearing at the moment was a birthday gift from his friend Zedd (the dj). There were pics of Zedd giving him the bag in the McLaren garage and Zedd has one himself as well. He wears bracelets his family give him, he wears jewellery gifts other friends give him. He even still wears sometimes a bracelet Luisa gave him

Side note but I also love that he wears bracelets and jewellery gifts from fans well after they have been given to him (Charles does this as well). He has said on streams a few times he keeps everything fans give him because he doesn’t like getting rid of things people have taken time to make for him. He even showed some things on camera when people said they didn’t believe him and challenged him to show things they had made for him. It’s really sweet how sentimental he is under all the sarcasm. Same with how fiercely he seems to love people once he lets them in to his circle.

Idk sorry, went off at a tangent. I’m just feeling a very soft about him rn. He’s a good egg.

Oh yes, I am intimately familiar with the necklace he got for his birthday from Zedd. I am also very normal about it and its design.

But for real, him showing his love through jewelry makes me very unwell because it's always such a personal gift. Him wearing it (any piece) is an intentional declaration in his feelings and thoughts on it. Even seemingly stupid little ones like the shark tooth he wore over summer. It's also always nice to hear the words from his mouth that he keeps everything.
