how it is both the seed of life but also an omen of death and misfortune.

the thing that signified the start of a cycle, the beginning of an end, the ellipses of a sentence.

how inexorably entwined it is as both peace and weapon.

is it repentance or sin? is it forgiveness or condemnation?

apples have flesh, too.

i mean. apple seeds and bullets look awfully alike.

is that what sealed that sordid fate? something as simple as a bite into fruit?

there is no other way it could’ve ended. a hunger that can never be sated.

flesh that burns apple red in the scorched earth of a dying world. flesh that gleams gold and enchanting like the world reborn, taking everything along with it.

held at gunpoint, bleeding out, apple held out with a hooved hand and serrated teeth.

a threat.

a promise?

a beginning.

an end. (it never will. )

"I said I knew" is a quote from a book im reading at school and of course that led me to a scu fic idea!

AU: The council but they're children.

IDEA: Adventures of the Council when they were children! At some point they accidentally but not really accidentally send Grizzly to hell.

-- this was supposed to be /srs fic but its turned into crack.

-- Since I want to tie SBI kingdom into this, I'm gonna just casually snatch some DSMP characters and make them baeby too :]

-- Some side characters will be Tommy, Wilbur, Techno, Phil, probably Skeppy and Bad, Quackity, Purpled maybe? Oh yeah and Schlatt.

-- The format will be short stories each chapter, none really connecting but there are references.

-- Condi's a dragon hybrid. He can fly and carry around his body weight. He can control dimensions but his powers are sometimes out of control. He's the quiet kid, always with his oversized headphones.

-- Charlie can control plants and knows a lot about potions. The usual, but when he panics he can lose control. Same for the rest of the group. He's an extrovert and protective over Condi.

-- Bizly doesn't really have a filter and is bold of what he says. He has a very strong bond with any animals.

-- Grizzly is an ambivert. Loud with friends, pretty quiet alone unless someone says "anime".

-- Schlatt's the bully in this fic, but everything's pretty light hearted in this au. He somewhat cares for the people around him, but he's not good at showing affection and ends up hurting people. Orrr he's just annoyed and actually wants to hurt people sometimes. Children. Oh and he's a few months older than rest of the Council.

-- Everything's the same besides they're children and nothing really bad ever happens.

-- Tommy pretends he's more powerful than the Council but he isn't. He's bossy sometimes but not in a Schlatt way. Charlie's fond of him and considers him a friend, and Tommy does consider them (as in the council) friends no matter how much he denies it.

-- Wilbur's the middle child, Techno's the oldest, Phil's the dad. The usual SBI stuff.

-- Phil adopted(?) the gods as his own. The orphanage was struggling with four very powerful gods and almost pleaded for the king to not take them because they'd only cause chaos. But Phil did adopt them (not officially, but he lets the children sleep in the castle if they want).

-- To Condi, Charlie's his everything. Charlie's the one who speaks up for Condi. He really, really likes Charlie. Very attached, clingy even. This changes as they grow up to be teens, and Condi does talk, but for now he's a shy child :>

-- Puddi is actually a character here. Genderfluid he/she/they/it. Puddi can change its hair length and stuff so that's helpful :D Puddi's one of the few beings Schlatt's gentle to. Puddi can sometimes be really energetic or really, really shy.

-- There's also Apple. Agender and no pronouns (just name)! Loves chaos. Looks up to Schlatt.

-- Condi sometimes uses they/them.

-- Schlatt is surprisingly very respectful for people (or non-people)'s identity. There was this one time he actually stood up for Condi when they were feeling they/them and no one was using it. They have this digital nametag thing that shows name and pronouns. ["We're never talking about this again. But stand up for yourself, okay? This is a one time thing."]

-- That's why Condi's the one to stop Charlie from lashing out at Schlatt when he's annoyed and being over dramatic.

Drabble time!

It was a very fine evening. Grizzly had dragged his three friends out to the forest to show them something he'd made.

"Are we there yet?" Bizly asked again impatiently. His blue hoodie was like a neon blue sign to predators, but they would never harm the god of animals, no matter how young. They were even more protective, really.

Grizzly didn't answer, stubbornly struggling with a bush before Charlie moved it with ease.

"We've been walking for a while." Charlie held Condi's hand, the young dragon hybrid trailing behind the young god of alchemy and plants silently. "Shouldn't we be there right now?"

Grizzly huffed. "It's a top secret place! It's very far from Spawn."

Condi finally spoke up, adjusting his headphones. "It's been about five chunks."

"Mhm! Far... and we're here!"

The four huddled over the bush to a small clearing, clearly artificially made, rocks rooted up and a circle of dirt inside the circle of stone. Inside the circle were markings.

Satanic markings.

They all stared.

Bizly walked forward cautiously. "You have to spawn Satan?"

Grizzly almost rolled his eyes. Wasn't it obvious?

"No! I want to be Satan."

Grizzly sighed when he was met with more silence.

"Guys, I need you to send me to h-e-double hocky sticks."

"Grizzly, Condi could send you to hell anytime you want." Charlie deadpanned. Condi nodded.

"But where's the fun in that? I already got-"

"OH MY GODS, HAM!" Bizly shrieked, running forward to see a dead hairless rat in one of the ritual triangles. Bizly desperately brought it back to life, which actually worked.

"-Sacrifices." The anime obsessed child winced. Bizly had tears in his eyes when he turned, though it was difficult to tell through his sunglasses.

"What the frick, Grizz?"

"Yeah, sorry. Anyways, send me to hell guys. I want to be the last sacrifice!"

"GRIZZ-"

"Yeah, that sounds fun!" Charlie interrupted Bizly's dialogue. "Doesn't it, Condi?"

"I guess?" The other replied, tilting his head.

So, with a bit of tears on the ground, Grizzly was placed in the middle of the ritual circle. Bizly reluctantly helped, putting Ham on the side and replacing it with a dead ant instead.

"Anime, anime, anime, weeb! Anime, anime, anime, weeb!" The three chanted as red lights began the glow around the sphere.

"What the hell is going on here?"

The Council froze their chant, all turning with wide eyes as if they were caught with a video game at school. Schlatt faced them in utter confusion.

"NOOOOPE NOPE NOPE GET OUT!" The Council all simultaneously yelled except Condi, who was behind Charlie. Grizzly raised a giant rock at Schlatt, who, for a split second, had an expression of regret before he screamed and ran away.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRong with you..." His voice diminished.

Good, now they could continue the chant.

"Anime, anime, anime, weeb! Anime, anime, ANIME, WEEB!!"

The red glow of the ritual grew brighter and brighter until the ground started to shake. The trio continued, thinking it was Grizzly making everything dramatic again even when Grizzly was muttering, "Hey... Guys? Um- maybe we should-"

Then everything happened too quickly.

Condi grabbed Charlie by his arms and flew up, Bizly getting a murder of crows to lift him up as a giant sinkhole opened up in front of them. Grizzly screamed as he fell down.

"ANIIIIMEEEEEEE!!!!" Grizzly screamed his last words. The hole then shrunk before any of the others could react.

"Huh."

okay I PROMISE I’ll writer a proper post about it soon but the gist of the SCU Loop AU is:

-Each SCU event (video) is connected because SCU!Charlie keeps resetting the world/timeline each time SCU!Schlatt destroys it

- including SMPs as their own loops because its fun (Epic, Q, and D)

-at some point it becomes only Charlie and Schlatt in the loop for a WHILE
