5 things that make her happy

Her pets - she has numerous snakes, eels, arachnids, and reptiles that she’s bonded well with. Despite them being used for her ‘work’ she still holds them precious as pretty much the only family she has. She has three “favorites” - Bastian(snake), Echo (Eel), Willow (Tarantula, not used for poisons but just a pet!)

The ocean - Everything about the ocean has always calmed her and to this day continues to do so. The sounds, the smells, the sights, the feeling of the sand between her toes, the waves spraying a light miss of salt water over her face. She frequented it often when she was younger and even in her dark and moody manner these days, she enjoys it. 

Reading - Janessa has found reading a way of putting herself so deep into something that she doesn’t think about things going on outside of what she’s reading. She doesn’t read novels or romance stories, but research and educational writings. So in turn, I suppose learning ties in with this one as well.

Annoying the ever living shit out of Tobias ( @hawke-wra) - this one is easy. All she has to do is actually just call Tobias and that’s that.

Tending her garden - Very little of her innocent and kind personality remains but gardening her herbs and seeing they are well taken care of goes hand in hand with her profession and still something she takes high pride in.

5 things that make her unhappy

Large crowds - Janessa prefers to be somewhat of a hermit. She likes to remain in the forests mostly, with nature or out on the seas. She usually finds herself in some sort of trouble when required to be out in public for long periods of time.

Going hand in hand with the above, socializing. - It’s pretty obvious when interacting with her that Janessa probably doesn’t like you or talking to you. It’s not personal, she just would rather be alone in most cases.There are the few handful of those that she doesn’t entirely hate being around, however

Cold weather - It’s never been high on her list of enjoyment. She likes being free and loose with clothing so when it’s cold, she feels weighed down by furs and leathers that she’s not a fan of layering.

Extremely tight bodices - Don’t get me wrong, she has a nice figure and it’s noticeable but she prefers to be comfortable in lighter materials and types of clothing.

Surprises - Janessa is very calculated and organized in nearly every aspect of her life. She doesn’t like things catching her out of the blue or out of her preplanned arrangements and she tends to go a bit awry should such a thing happen. 

3 goals she has

Live her life with as little of interruptions as possible

Travel as much as possible - which she’s already pretty good at doing

Learning another language

Best way to start a scene with her is pretty open, honestly. Since she’s a nomad, she can be just about anywhere whenever someone wants to write something unless she’s stowed away for a story which conveniently she’s not currently! Before the affliction, she made fertility, health and wellness potions, things of the such, but now she’s kind of turned to the I hate everything so unless you pay me a lot I’m only make the bad potions type of thing. But she can imbue talismans for a number of different things, perform spells, etc. So if anyone needs something that perhaps she could offer, a lot of people have named her the lady in the forest, or even just “ that weird eel lady” so by talking through the grapevine word can get back to her and she’ll find a way to get word to you to explain where she is and pretty much they come to her. Hermit -_-

That damn clock app needs to stop coming up with such hilarious art challenges so I can finish all the other damn pictures I’ve started.

But honestly “Draw the party rogue as a Fabio romance cover” is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. So naturally I had to do it for both my campaigns.

It's amazing how the sheer power of a good meme can completely shatter my art block

Usually when I start projects in the last week of MerMay they don't get done. But not only did I somehow finish this, it's also like the only picture I've managed to complete of my Curse of Strahd group

The hardest part about being in 3 campaigns is all the ART I wanna make but everything happens so fast I end up with like 20 half finished pictures.

RIP I guess.

It’s been literal months...because I’m notoriously lazy when it comes to actually drawing out clothing design. I feel like everyone has to have at least one thing on them that levels the amount of extra™ in the group.
