✔ : What drew you to the character you currently play? What types of characters are you generally drawn to?
@shootfrst literally made me [ and bribed me with graphics ] I was looking at the Mass Effect Andromeda people with question marks, when Seb pointed out that Sid and I were VERY similar people and now the more I play her the more I ABSOLUTELY love her and am having so much fun so far!I generally play mom characters [ the TARDIS, Aerith Gainsborough,Glynda Goodwitch ] and the nice sweet people who are too pure for this world because I’m a terrible villain

AllMusic Staff Pick: Vessel Punish, Honey 2014 Electronic
On his second album as Vessel, Seb Gainsborough eschewed the recombinations of techno, house, and dub of his earlier work in favor of stripped-down yet aggressive tracks crafted with sheets of metal and handmade instruments. The results are uneasy, strangely sexy and gripping from start to finish.

REVEIW: Vessel – Punish, Honey
Vessel – Punish, Honey
One of the most highly original producers to come off of Bristol’s conveyor belt of sonic innovators, Vessel, a.k.a. Seb Gainsborough has made quite an impression since his emergence in 2011. His debut album Order Of Noise, released two years ago through Tri Angle, told intricate tales that often seemed to border on musical madness before revealing themselves as darkly-crafted techno or jarred…

Vessel — Punish, Honey (Tri-Angle)
Gainsborough claims he set out to consider the meaning of “Britishness” (a tediously overused term by politicians and newspaper hacks). With track titles like “Black Leaves and Fallen Branches” and “Kin to Coal”, such ambition is clearly laid out, although any conclusions made are abstract and tinged with inchoate morosity. Be warned: there is none of dubstep’s hazy sensuality and end-of-party emotionality on Punish, Honey. In the two years since Order of Noise, Vessel’s music has edged into the shadowy realms of a new strain of underground techno, a nebulous demi-monde inhabited by the likes of Regis, Sandwell District, William Bennett’s Cut Hands and Vatican Shadow.
Vessel may be less jagged and brusque than those other acts, but by injecting his music with a bit of clatter and creak, he’s exploring similar territory and coming up with an equally austere sonic vista. It’s a subtly beautiful combination: when Gainsborough returns to techno beats on Punish, Honey, such as on album highlights “Anima”, “Kin To Coal” and “DPM” and meshes them with the darker, more industrial atmospheres that dominate the album, the results are truly thrilling, mechanized dance for a post-industrial age.
