i wrote this quick as a warmup then ended up not having time to actually write nything else but anyway here it is!! based on this text post uwu

Logan hadn’t planned on going to the party. Not because he hated parties (although he sort of disliked them, depending on the host) but it hadn’t really been on his radar. 

So when Remy texted him that “the coolest shit is going down” and that he “needs to come to Payton Braun’s right now right now they’re playing with fire and chemicals”, well. How could he refuse? 

Especially because Payton Braun housed a quarter of the basketball team, including Virgil, so Logan couldn’t let Virgil’s place to stay get burned down because of stupid drunken decisions. 

So he walked in. There were only two couples making out on the front porch, and nobody throwing up (at midnight, he assumed there were already be multitudes) Logan could determine that it wasn’t a hell-raising party and only a seven minutes in heaven, high-school esque party. 

Regardless, that didn’t explain that the moment he walked in, someone called out a blatant, loud, “DIBS!”. 

Logan froze on the spot, gaze flicking into the crowd. Half the room was caught up in each other and the pounding music, the other half laughing or shoving from the comment. 

Logan blinked. He brought his phone out, because he couldn’t not immediately text Patton, just for posterity. I just walked into this party and someone yelled dibs. Aaaand send. 

Little bubbles showed up almost immediately, so Logan knew Patton was in the midst of a late night study session. 

His phone buzzed. omg!! who??? which party?? i can find them for u! and get it ;) 

Logan rolled his eyes and nearly pocketed his phone then and there. I don’t know who. Stay at your dorm, I’m fine. And stop that

He could feel Patton’s teasing aura seeping through the phone and thanked the heavens that Patton wasn’t with him. ok, if you say so!! but only if u tell me ALL the deets later !! >:(

Logan’s lips quirked, just barely. Patton really was the greatest. Don’t worry, I will. Get to sleep by two

Logan sent one final <3 before turning his phone off and pocketing it. A red solo cup was pressed into his hands, but the person who handed it to him disappeared before he could catch them. He could text Remy to find him, but he heard yelling in the basement and the colored lights were bright pink. It didn’t take a detective to know where the fire was. 

Logan shook his head because they couldn’t even experiment outside? Really? Rookie mistake. 

As he approached the stairs he dumped the contents of the red solo cup into a fake house plant. He’d throw it away downstairs. 

Stepping into the basement, Logan saw many things at once. 

One, two shirtless guys in the corner were licking peanut butter off of each other, which, gross, hard pass for Logan. Two, a circle of people surrounded a flourescent green bowl, while one guy was holding a small white substance in his hand, presenting it dramatically. 

Three, he heard the word sodium from a girl five people down, and his eyes widened. 

“Don’t put that in the water!” Logan yelled. Were they stupid? And in the basement? Honestly. 

Logan tried shoving through but he saw the guy startle, and the sodium slipped from his fingers. Logan panicked and did the only thing he could think of. 

He threw the red solo cup. 

Miraculously, between throwing the football with his older brother and throwing crumpled up papers into the trash, the cup collided with the sodium and threw it off course. It landed, harmless, between two couch cushions. 

The room exploded. 

“Yo!!! That was baller, dude!” someone slapped him on the back. Hands shook his shoulders as everyone was jumping to the faint beat of the music from upstairs. 

Remy found him. “Are you kidding me, bitch? That was the coolest fucking thing I’ve ever seen. Full stop. Don’t even look at me.” 

Logan sighed. “What’s in the bowl?” he yelled over the din of voices. 

“Water, I think. Mountain dew. Lots of green food coloring,” Remy said. “Jenny’s the ringleader. I got her hooked up with Sasha, though, so she’s out of the picture. Nobody else knows where anything dangerous is, so we’re good.” 

“Then I’m leaving,” Logan said. That was enough excitement for him, and besides, he didn’t know anyone at this party except for Remy. And Virgil, but Virgil was undoubtedly upstairs, hoodie over his ears. 

“See ya, girl! Catch you on the flipside!” Remy called. His sunglasses reflected pink as he grinned. 

Logan waved, exasperated. He threw the cup out at the base of the stairs and was about to take a step up when a hand pulled him to the side. Logan frowned and looked up into amber eyes, smooth skin, and swept up curly dark hair. 

He swallowed. 

The guy smiled, but it looked a bit lopsided, crooked, awkward. “That was sick, man.” Ah, that explained it. His words were rounded, sloppy. He was drunk. 

Logan smiled placatingly. “Thanks. I’m going to head out now, but--”

“No, wait, wait,” the guy touched his shoulder. “You -- who invited you?” 

Logan snorted. “Remy. But I only came to help Virgil.” 

“Virgil,” he repeated. Then his eyes lit up. “You know Virgil!” 

“I do,” Logan said. His gaze flicked to the stairs. 

“Virgil’s my man,” he said. “I told him to come down.” 

“I’m sure he loved that.” 

“No, because -- because -- dibs,” the guy said. Then he winced. “Shit.” 

Realization struck Logan right between the eyes. “You’re the one who yelled dibs.” 

“Yeah,” he said. One of his hands rubbed at the back of his neck and Logan couldn’t help from staring at his arms. 

He shook himself. Get yourself together. C’mon, Logan. 

“Can I have your number?” 

“No,” Logan said, mouth running before he could consider it. In his defense, really, this whole situation was -- super awkward. 

“That’s fair,” he said. “I’m Roman, by the way.” 

“Roman,” Logan repeated. “I’m Logan.” 

“Nice to meet you, Logan,” Roman smiled, and this time -- wow. His entire face lit up, eyes crinkling and warm. “Can I try for your number upstairs, or do you need to leave?” 

Logan considered it, he really did. He could leave, sleep, salvage his sleep schedule (somewhat -- it was nearing one am). Or he could stay and talk to this gradually sobering gorgeous man named Roman. 

Being a single college student, he made the wiser choice. “You can try. We’ll see if you succeed.” 

Roman’s delight was palpable and Logan -- internally -- swooned. He wanted Roman to look at him like that all the time. 

They ended up outside, in the back. Less music, less people, less noise. Just… talking. About everything and nothing. Roman’s phone lay face up on the table. It buzzed, and Logan caught the name of the sender -- Virgil -- before Roman silenced his phone and flipped it upside down. 

Logan’s lips quirked at the small gesture. 

At this rate, Roman would have his number in no time. 

Of course, he could always hold his number back, just because. What would Roman do then? Was he that interested in Logan? 

Logan leaned on his fist, smiling at Roman making wild gestures along to a story. 

He really hoped Roman was as into him as he was into Roman.

my name’s lily and uh basic stuff..i’m a female high school student around 156cm maybe 157 on a good day;3 im bi but with more of a preference for guys (who are tall, like as long as ur a tall guy/girl whatever, i will prolly automatically start simping akdhfj) 

i have long black hair that’s usually straight but on a slightly wavy side. my skin’s like a light-ish brown and my eyes are chocolate brown,, or so i’m told. i’m on the more busty side and would say i’m fairly curvy(?) but my grandma keeps saying i’m skinny and need to eat more:))speaking of eating, its like absolutely one of my favorite things ever lolol (so yeah kinda contradictory lol)

Precious iron heart~! Despite his persona on the court, he’s actually a very sweet, protective, and kind spirit~! He is definitely your stable and solid rock in any situation / scenario you might find yourself in~! In terms of being emotional, he’s rather in touch with his emotions and will definitely be able to help ground you or at least bring you back to sensible ground if your emotions get the better of you and make you more stressed out than need be.

Other then that, he’s super curious and interested about your hobbies~! He likes to support you and honestly will keep you in line if you happen to stray too far from what needs to be done. He won’t really lecture you, but he’ll remind you that to get out of the hell that’s called school you gotta at least finish with passing. He wants to see you succeed and will feel bad if you happen to fall into a slump or a mood where you end up upset at yourself.

One word, chaotic. But in a good way! See you and Kageyama would like two puzzle pieces, and the reason being is because he is emotionally stupid, that you can definitely help him with that! I mean, seriously, he needs some help. Help him. Anyways, you and Kageyama will have a blast with each other; he will be the type of person where your mental battery doesn’t get drained because he is just a quiet as you can be and just as soft. The cuddles would be endless and amazing because of this.

He will like how confident you are, from confessing to someone to being confident in competitions and such. And if he were to see you that you are panicking, he will do his best to calm you down. Key phrase here is do his best. He might not be that good at it, but you love the spirit. He is more of an introvert so him trying to make you feel better is gonna take a toll on him, but he will do it to make you feel better! Because he loves you!

This boi will love that you eat so much. He will have literal eating contest with you and then pass out when you win and he ate too much food. He’ll like how you aren’t afraid to show your “boyish” for lack of a better word. He’ll also love that you play volleyball and will want to play with you all the time. I mean it. All the time. Literally will push a volleyball in your face until you say yes to him, and then he’ll stop when he is satisfied.

Kageyama, when he finds out that you bake will definitely want to eat some of your baking! You’ll mention it in a passing way, and he’ll stop you in your conversation and immediately want you to bake for him, which you obviously can’t, but you think it’s either way and tell him you will the next day! Next day comes around and he scarfs down the cookies like he depends on it, and when done will give you kiss as thanks. It’s kind of gross though because his mouth is still full lololol.

Physical features and pda; Like Sousuke, he isn’t one to actively look for pda, but if you were to hold his hand or cuddle with him in public, he will unconciously respond to you, he will really not think about and it’s the most adorable thing ever! He will just lean into and play with your curly hair and not really think anything of it. He will get laughed at by his friends, and he will be embarrassed but he won’t stop once he gets started! You are also just very huggable to him!

What is your most fluffy + happy ship?

Canon and/or endgames have an unfortunate tendency to turn a lot of my soft, pure ships into sad, “we could’ve had it aaaaallllllll” ships, especially ones that used to be actually canon but were not allowed to be endgame (Jane Villanueva/Michael Cordero. F*ck you Jennie Urmann!) – or which had the potential to end ambiguously/reasonably well –even if they were never going to be canon– until the writers/showrunners decided to ruin everything  by making me actively dislike half of the pairing. (Merlin/Gwen on BBC Merlin. #JusticeForQueenGwennie) 

There’s also the fact that I don’t usually go in for “soft, pure uwu” ships in general,  as I like angst and/or tension to add emotional stakes to my pairings. So if I do get into a ship like that, it’s usually a sign that I’m being baited (a la Jane/Michael) or that there is some really intense angst coming (like Eleanor/Chidi).

Leslie/Ben from Parks and Rec– I guess? Although I was always more into April/Andy, though given April’s gloomy personality I feel weird calling them a “fluffy, happy ship” even if they make each other happy and are overall healthy and stable. 

What is your most angsty ship?

Probably Theon Greyjoy/Jeyne Poole. That’s what happens when shared trauma inflicted by a third party brings two damaged people together. And the fact that Theon’s arc has  extreme “redemption equals death” foreshadowing.

What is one scene you want to see happen for all your ships?

KISS. Even if it’s a joke/distraction/played off as no big deal within the context of the work itself, I like having kisses (esp well-lit ones in visual media) for my ships so that I can make fanworks from them.

Also I am absolutely weak for non-sexual bed sharing trope (though of course I enjoy sexy bedsharing as well naturally). And this shows up a lot in works where there is meant to be romantic/sexual tension between characters and in works where we’re meant to see things as platonic (but I may ship it anyway). And it always delivers the feels.

Is there a ship you wish you didn’t know existed?

I mean… nothing is really coming to mind. There are pairings I don’t ship, there are pairings that squirk me and pairings that confuse me and some pairings that even revulse and disgust me. But I try to  keep them out of sight out of mind –and I usually succeed. And I’m not personally offended by their existence. Assuming that their (and any) shippers/consumers of media are able to properly distinguish between fiction and reality, which –regardless of what antis argue– most people are.

Day6: Jae

The first thought I had for you and Jae was the famous ‘American Gothic’ painting by Grant Wood. Visually, you’d both have that expressionless look on your faces but in reality, you’re actually a happy sunshine couple. As I was thinking about how you two met, I thought you starting out as roommates would be so cute and clever. You would be new in the city, and the only apartment you could afford was Jae’s and he needed a roommate. The pieces all fit together perfectly. Based on first impressions, seeing all his amps and guitars and other musical items would be a little over-whelming, but he would assure you that you would never need to mess with anything or help him- he’s a big boy. Band practice would be a little hit and miss, sometimes they would be there, sometimes they wouldn’t, then if they were, you would leave so you can get a piece of mind. The first six months of living together would be awkward and you wouldn’t talk much. However, one rainy day when both your and Jae’s plans got canceled, you would start to bond, and you two would develop a relationship. As you two would get to know each other, you two would see each others humors, and you’d see the best and worst in each other. You both would be so blunt with each other in the funniest ways, you would never take comments seriously. Slowly, as time would go on, your friendship would slowly transform into romantic feelings. Jae would be very soft for you, and you admired Jae in a way you could never fully explain, so eventually you two said you were together. You fit together like two peas in a pod and when you became official, it was very liberating. Your friends and Jae’s friends weren’t surprised, since you two fit together so well, it was a matter of time before they called it- they were all happy for you regardless. You two would also be a very domestic couple btw. Hear me out, cause this’ll sound crazy but, Jae is the best worst housewife ever. When Jae would try to do household stuff he would fail but if he wouldn’t try he would succeed. He wouldn’t be the best at cooking, but would be a really good baker. That means a lot of sugar which means a lot of random decisions, like teaching you how to play guitar. There would be a lot of screaming singing followed by that by the way. Pillow talk would be huge for your two as well! Lastly, I would like to talk PDA/affection. A LOT of hand holding. He would love the softness of your hands. He also would love to droop his arm over your shoulder, then you would hold it, you would look so comfortable, and adorable, like the king and queen you are.

Got7: Jinyoung

Much like my last ship went, there will be a lowkey theme to this ship: domestication. I don't know why I’ve been into themes recently, but it’s here. You two would be a soft couple that would love to admire one another. You two would also be an artsy couple. Rooting from a college type of au, Jinyoung’s art would be photography while your art would be writing, writing to your hearts content. Being the artsy couple you are, you two would spend so much quality time together! You two would also have your fair share of going out and being active and staying at the apartment together. Staying home isn’t always a bad thing either. You two are still equally as giggly and peppy with each other, so you two never have a dull moment and there are smiles and sunshine all around. I want to touch on quiet time real quick because I love the thought of it. Quiet time would include a lot of snuggles. Any kind of snuggles you can think of where you’re either laying on top of each other, or he’s snuggled to you, or you’re snuggled to him, SNUGGLES. Quiet time also includes you two working on your interests. While Jinyoung is on his laptop editing some pictures for his portfolio, you are right by him, jotting down the thoughts in your head, coming up with new ideas, or continuing another idea- the world is your oyster. Moving right along is date night. Park Jinyoung on date night is the best boyfriend material ever. If you’re at home, he sets up fairy lights all over the apartment, he cooks, and he gets a little dressed up. He wants to look clean for you, and just imagine forehead Jinyoung in this scenario #yesmama. Also, a little thing Jinyoung would love to do is slow dance with you. Then when you two go out, you got to so many different places- basically til you get tired and want to take a nap lol. Personally, Jinyoung would like to take you to your favorite places such as to eat or do an activity with. He would LOVE going out for karaoke, so of course you two would go out and do the stuff he enjoys too. You also have an amazing food taste, so who could argue with that, right? A lot of dinner topics include deep talks about what you want to accomplish separately and together, and you also love to talk about your futures together, a fan favorite. Then when you would get home, some major pillow talk sessions. These sessions would be more playful like small debates over how to toilet paper roll should go, a lot of giggles and smiles. Lastly more PDA. Gentle hands holding yours, he would handle you like you were made of glass. So many forehead kisses, and the sweetest eye smiles you’ll ever see.

NCT: Jaehyun

You and Jaehyun yet again scream such a soft puppy like love aesthetic and it’s hard not to uwu over it. Jaehyun is your sunshine while you are his flower, like, you to need each other. Jaehyun would be absolutely head over heels in love with you tbh, like this bub is going to FALL. You two are that type of couple that is a get and go type of couple, and the world is your oyster. Traveling would be your thing, Jaehyun would want to take you everywhere he possibly could. With his occupation being a huge help in your wishes to travel, you would get to tag along on trips and such, and you and Jaehyun would travel anytime he got free time tbh. And this is super cute, listen up. So, you two would keep EVERYTHING you would get from traveling. Whether it’s plane/bus tickets, post cards, souvenirs, and of course your pictures, everything gets saved. Everything that can be put in a scrap book goes in a scrap book. It would be super cute if you two would have little books dedicated to every trip, and you’d keep them nicely organized on a ship by date or by location. Keeping those scrap books are great for always reliving the memories you two shared. Then, if you two aren’t out and about traveling or on a date, Sunday’s are your golden days- specifically if they’re rainy or it’s winter. Those Sunday’s are your time to relax and cuddle, and you also take those Sunday’s to work on your scrap books! Jae is also the type of boyfriend that loves to take great interest in your interests. Another one of those Sunday’s include making cute little stories together. Jae would love to collab on little stories with you! Again, those rainy days are full of endless possibilities, so, if you or Jae have an idea, you best believe that you two are coming up with a full out plot and characters, and even getting as far as getting a chapter or two written down. And a lot of the time, those little stories get tossed into a notebook, and it’s always fun to forget about it then come back at a later time and find it again. Moving on, you and Jae wouldn’t necessarily have date nights. You two spend so much time together, that every time you’re together is like date night. Of course Jae will take you out on special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays, but making homemade pizza or take out it the best way for you two to go. And omg so many game nights! Card games are your shit, and tbh, UNO would get crazy. Lastly PDA wise, Jae is all about that hand holding and cheek and lip kisses. He also loves to hug you, all the time, so prepared to have a koala bear attached to you.  

VIXX: Hakyeon 

When I think of you and Hakyeon, you two would be the perfect wild and mild couple. Joking and cracking jokes is always a must by the way. You two have interesting senses of humor so, you two always are playfully picking on each other and being playfully sarcastic to each other. Part of that playful sarcastic antics you two would do is being overly-sensitive with each other. I know that sounds weird but hear me out. It’s super cute when you two pick at each other. Hakyeon would like to pick at your quirks- mostly because your quirks is what makes you unique and your quirks is also one of the many reasons why he loves you. When you playfully roll your eyes as he picks, Hakyeon would just smile at you and he would say “I love you”. It’s actually super soft at the end of the day tbh. And overall, Hakyeon is very considerate of you. Hakyeon is also a very protective boyfriend, and he will always make sure you know that as well. And he isn’t sorry about it either and you don’t mind it either, it helps you feel safe and wanted. Dancing together is your everything by the way. From Hakyeon teaching you a new dance to even learning new dance styles together, you two dance so much. Filming your dances together is also always a thing, you have a camera that is specifically for dancing. And it’s always fun to go back and watch those videos and seeing how much progress you’ve made since you started learning a specific dance. Also, you two are the king and queen of practice room antics. Teasing each other, pinching each others tushies(to be specific) is only the beginning. And of course, anytime you get to dance with Hakyeon’s fellow group members, you all stay in the practice for literally hours just dancing and goofing off. Learning the choreo and the boys love to pick at you, and then if you’re doing the choreo better than one of the members, you can see a roast fest in your future. Moving onto date night, date night is always a surprise with Hakyeon. Double or triple dates with your friends, or cute little pop-up dates like carnivals or little shopping trips- curtesy by your lovely boyfriend. Spoiling you is one of his specialties, he loves it so much. You’re his number one, so of course he would want to treat you like a number one. And, you are also as protective of him like he is to you. And tbh, Hakyeon would love that you are protective over him, you’re his little fire cracker. Lastly, PDA. He’s very hands on, he loves to have a hand holding something, he loves to know that you are around him. Back hugs, and forehead kisses, especially quick pecks, it’s a cute little detail enough to make an impact, because it would leave you in a flush.
