☕️ B eats jam instead of cake when he’s imitating L because he’s coeliac (also explains why he’s so thin).

He’d also deliberately gluten himself for attention, and pull the same theatrical ‘Warm tea helps the pain in my belly’ that he did when Misora stepped on him.

I could potentially see him doing something like that, he seems to be the king of self-pity and strangely self-sabotaging behaviours during the LABB investigation. There wasn't any explanation in the book for why B picked jam as his snack for when he was impersonating L, so it's definitely something you can just make up for yourself. My best guess is that it fits easily in the victim's fridge, is sweet, and that the red stickiness of the jam was maybe supposed to be somewhat reminiscent of blood... B fanfic sure took that parallel and ran with it, anyway 😆

☕️ Yeah it's fun to imagine Awkward Bathing Shenanigans in the Yotsuba arc but Light comes from a communal bathing culture, it wouldn't be weird to him to bathe and shower with another man. If anyone would find it awkward it'd be L.

AGREE anon, I don't think Light would be terribly shy about that! And L is not particularly self-conscious either, at least in my reading of him. I feel he would probably just be very matter-of-fact and blunt and efficient about the whole thing, whatever their bathroom arrangement was.
