Eddie tries to adjust to being a vampire as well as he can. The ability to turn into a bat isn't something he is jumping for joy about.

The little fuckers were the reason he was a vampire in the first place.

The fact he can't go out during the day takes effort in getting used to, no Hellfire or Band practice, sitting in a darkened room until the sun went down wasn't something he could just snap into.

The worst part of all was the cravings for blood, the first few weeks when he woke in that private government hospital, his throat parched and his insides aching with hunger he nearly tore the room apart to satisfy his cravings for blood.

The fact he was a vampire terrified him, at first he couldn't wrap his head around it. This was stuff of stories right?

Bad enough fucking one-dimensional monsters exist but vampires? It blew his mind.

Slowly through the help of blood bags he gained control over his cravings. Well, the use of blood bags and the ability to take blood from humans occasionally.

He'd use his power to make the humans dazed during the feeding, then forget straight after.

It wasn't exactly easy to explain to his friends and Uncle Wayne or Jim Hopper how he curbed his cravings.

They were having time adjusting to him being like this too. Not so much his little sheeples but Jeff and Gareth, they didn't understand why he could only see them at night.

One of the people who did understand was you and on a particular night, a rare night when his cravings were a little intense you had offered some of your blood to keep the bloodlust down.

Eddie had heard about vampires finding blood that tasted unlike any other, of vampires bonding with those they fed from.

It was a rarity but it happened. Eddie had been a vampire for a while now and hadent felt any of that yet.

Until he tasted your blood, until your hands tangled in his hair and little moans left your mouth.

It felt like he was in Nirvana or some shit, everything felt heightened, your body flush against him sent waves of pleasure coursing through him.

It was erotic and intense and Eddie found himself craving not only your blood but you.

He wanted to kiss and taste every inch of you

my fav pairing from st to write is steddie 👉👈 but i also ADORE platonic pairings like robin and steve and gareth and eddie (im also loving tommy and gareth in love me softly theyre v fun); i do wanna branch out and write more pairings— i have a ronance idea and i rly wanna write byler bc they <3 but i just haven’t gotten around to it

my first fandom was h*rry p*tter in middle school (my brother convinced me to read the first book and then promptly regretted it bc i made it my personality) but also percy jackson, which i’m still kind of involved in (im not rly up to date w everything but i do wanna catch up w the books bc i haven’t read past blood of olympus)

you’re 100% right ab my walls!! having stuff on my walls is actually a huge comfort thing for me and i started decorating literally before i even finished unpacking when i moved in (i’m still adding stuff to them lmao)

i have a few posters around the room (on my bathroom door, one of almond blossom by van gogh above my bed, and some in the corner by the radiator and window) and my bulletin board above my desk is covered w photos and art and my calendar; under that i have some post-its w poems and lyrics and quotes and stuff: next to my desk i have heartstopper leaves swirling in the corner i’m quite proud of them

the wall by my bed is covered in postcards bc i collect them (every time my friends or parents go anywhere i literally beg for postcards, pref of art and stuff but also just pictures or words they make me so happy idk why) but it also has some of my art and some pastel bunting flags across the ceiling, and i have some like silly flyers (‘sick of being asked what you’re going to do with your life? (same)’ and ‘crying over a boy? (ugh)’) that i got from an exhibition at my school on a cabinet and next to my bathroom door

i realised i didn’t know what time zone im in so i looked it up and apparently rly it’s ‘greenwich mean time’ which i’ve never heard of before but

i think in regards for fanfic tropes i just have an affinity for Heavy Angst or Horniness with the softest possible endings and I've realised i tend to just not be able to find the kind of stuff that i write in other fics??? i think i also just don't read as much fanfic as some others do so maybe that's my problem; i don't think comfort tropes are underutilized (esp in this fandom bc every needs comfort bless their hearts) but i adore any kind of comfort esp during/after heavy emotional episodes like panic attacks, grief, injuries, etc i just find the comfort so <333 (especially if it includes the comforter calling the comfortee a pet name, ESPECIALLY if its the first time they call them that it gives me butterflies)

So, a question: I'm not sure how to approach Gareth. I'm fond of the headcanon of him being a trans man, and I have thought that, in order to get a male body, he reached an agreement with a fae that he'll get one if he worked in Camelot's kitchen without revealing his real identity. However, when he accepts the quest to save Lyonors a year hasn't passed, and the fae decides to ruin Gareth's and Lyonors' sexy times by making the male body disappear. He is distraught and Lyonors is like (1/2)

(2/2) "sister, an evil fairy has tricked my boyfriend, and you sending knights out of thin air doesn't help! Make the same spell", and she does, not knowing that means that Gareth has to work in their kitchen now. When the year passes Lyonors organizes a jousting match for their wedding, Gareth defeats his family and explains what happened, Gawain is like "Cool I love you brother" and that stuff. Problem is IDK if it's transphobic or not. Do you think you can help me? Thanks

Uhhhh ok im not like. Able to say if its transphobic from just like.. 2 asks but from what I can get:

It would be super transphobic to have him lose his body (like. Is that detransitioning) and have people only care about it for sex. Trans peoppe can have sex like anyone else even without transitioning? I think the entire thing of taking away someones prefered body they got through any means has a huuuge like. Conotation of transphobia in that his transness is something that can just be taken away at the whims of another - not his own.

I dunno I cant rlly say. Its all on how u handle it but those are my personal trans opinions. Other trans people r free to say how they feel this is just how I feel. Im not the end all be all

Gereon and Dorian:  Gereon finding Dorian in the slums? The early years of their mentor-apprentice relationship? Maybe something later, when they fall out, or when Gereon tries to recruit Dorian for the Venatori?

Gereon and Cory: recruiting him, working with him on the elven shards and oculara, etc…

Archie and Cory: Plotting to enter the Golden (Black) City? Some nice political turmoil previous to that, sort of setting up the entire situation we’re told is occurring at that time? A meeting of the two of them in Darkspawn form (before Cory gets captured by the Wardens, clearly) but them not really remembering each other?

Clari and Felixity: I vastly hesitate to make them sisters because I think they might actually kill each other but also that could be… interesting….??

Clari and Mar: there are some DA2 interactions with Wardens that we could expand on somehow. Nate’s trip north to find the Primeval Thaig being just one of them that could work, or something to do with Anders having left the order, orrrrr that thing with Avernus’s research and the dead-drop.

Thrask and Mar: definitely not something with them in the Fade together in Inquisition, my heart couldn’t take a redux of that. Otherwise… maybe trying to find a way to work together in the time period between DA2 and Inquisition, when canon tells us she’s helping the mages as the Towers begin to rebel and/or fall? As a fairly rebellious Templar he’d be suited for that work.

Feynriel and Mar: We already have them together in Tevinter post-game, but maybe something set while he’s with the Dalish and before Night Terrors? Hawke up on Sundermount for something else and they end up working together on something? 

Zathrian and Caranthir: consider the ancient elves meeting. There are werewolves. There are oaths. There is ancient undying vengeance. There are talking trees. Dun dun dunnnnnn.

Pietrus and Dorian: Actually developing out the details of the bodyguard verse beyond what we’ve done in Discord, I’d say, lol. We can have them embroiled in something to do with the Lucerni, or hunting down the remains of the Venatori, orrrrr something connected to the comics’ events with the impending Qunari attack on Qarinus and the continued hunt for Red Lyrium with Pietru’s Carta contacts coming into play there.

Pietrus and Mar: Teaming up together in Kirkwall for something Carta-related, maybe… working to figure out who’s behind the attacks on her and Beth that lead to Legacy’s events? I know it’s Varric in-game and he could be involved too but when you have your own personal Carta member…

Pietrus and Kaz: Kaz in DA would be an Antivan gang member of some sort and given that the Carta is a Thedas-wide organization they might have reason to interact, making deals on smuggling into (or out of) Antiva City, or thievery of some kind. Kaz is a master lockpick and a brilliant mastermind when it comes to plotting things so if they needed someone local for a job they might look to him and his, or they might encounter each other while on the same mission and have to work together temporarily etc.

Fabien and Colombe: might be kind of fun to actually thread some of the Last Court events. Pick some of the plotlines there and work on them, fleshing them out. The town’s continued and rising discontent, the bandit depredations, the Weird Shit in the Woods, etc…..

Fabien and Gentian: given Serault’s reputation for the weird and wild, Gentian might well head that way out of curiosity and find himself caught up in some old, strange magic in an old, strange place. Also two pretty blond men flirting is always good.

Marion and Mar: I mean, twinverse is always a possibility but I don’t know as much specifically about Marion as compared to like, your Gareth etc? So idk if it would work out at all but.

Rhyne and Felixity: We could do that AU where Rhyne ends up the Cousland mage pre-Origins? Or more with the dual-warden verse. Maybe post-Awakening stuff with the search for the cure, or whatever else is going on then?

Millie and Inquiz Beru: working together on something in the post-Inquisition verse. Maybe she asks him about red lyrium, or brings some of the weird magic she’s seen to his expertise – something like Hakkon, maybe, or the Avvar gods generally and how they’re basically spirits. Orrrr the Crossroads, that sort of thing. It’s not entirely his field but also it kind of is, given the spirits and demons encountered in all of it.
