Reigen and Serizawa have some talking to do.

You know what I find really, really funny?

You know how Reigen drops his "oh, I don't think anybody would like me if they saw the real me" on Serizawa (that definitely was not on his job's description)? Obviously there's a whole thing there with how he sees himself but how in the end he stops lying to Mob and confesses the truth to him.

And then... he kinda just stops there.

In the spin-off he doesn't tell the truth to Tome until he thinks he has no other choice because she's putting herself in danger by working under the wrong assumption that he's a psychic, and while doing so, he asks her not to tell Serizawa. He was honest with Mob, but that was with him and only him. His default mode is still lying and hiding.

And the thing is obviously these people he has surrounded himself with, purposefully or accidentally, don't like him because they think he's an esper —at this point I don't think he's fooling even half of them, frankly—, or even because of his whole... energetic, over the top persona. They like him because of the kind of person he is, whether he's keeping his whole salesman attitude or whether he's a bit quieter and less self-assured.

Now, it's kinda easy to see why he would think he has to keep that up, initially he presented himself to Mob as this wise mentor figure, half of the other people he knows are kids for which he feels the responsibility to be a reliable adult figure, and then there are cases like Serizawa and the ex-Scars who do hold him in high regard and see him with a certain degree of admiration, all of that sort of tied with his fake psychic status.

And so it's very amusing to me that the one person who could show him VERY clearly that people care about him regardless of all of that is... Ritsu.

Because here's the thing, he was jealous of Reigen to some degree since he was someone Mob could confide in, unlike Ritsu due to the distance that had formed between them after the incident. And I think part of his irritation with Reigen was definitely that he was so evidently (to him anyway) a fraud, so that put Ritsu pre-awakening of his powers and Reigen at the same level and yet... Mob always went to Reigen for advice and guidance. It's very understandable for him to have been annoyed considering that.

Through the story it's more than evident that Ritsu is very, very aware that Reigen is a fraud, and though he's open with his distaste, at some point it feels a bit more like a normal kind of distaste. Reigen might have his morals and principles as a fraud, but he's one nonetheless, plus his personality doesn't mesh particularly well with Ritsu, and quite honestly? If I were 13yo and had to interact with someone like Reigen, I think I would be feeling a good amount of second hand embarrassment that ends up in annoyance.

But Ritsu doesn't really hate Reigen. He's comically annoyed by him, sure, but it's more than obvious he doesn't hate him.

When push comes to shove, he never wishes any actual ill will toward Reigen, he helps pull him away from Ishiguro in 7th Division Arc, for example, and when he goes to face Toichiro to help Mob, Ritsu is the one showing visible concern for what's going on when they see the explosion and the fire from down below, with his little "Reigen-san..." (as a sidenote, I love how the English dub does this with the "please, be okay").

My favorite example of this by far is Separation Arc, because Ritsu has genuine reasons to be pissed at Reigen this time around, if he sort of gathered that he mistreated Mob, and yet what he does is... he watches the press conference. It isn't even because of Mob, he's not sitting down with him or even watching with his parents or anything, it's just him, he had to have made the active choice to watch. And he could be vindictive and it would be such a reasonable posture to take because, again, Reigen was a goddamn jerk to his brother and the situation snowballed from there, but he isn't, he's visibly concerned for him.

That is NOT a boy who doesn't care, much less one who hates Reigen.

And it's so funny to me that the one person who could show Reigen all of those fears he has about that side of him he hates being a deal breaker for the people around him is also the one who makes faces at the idea of going to stay over at his apartment.

I have caved. here is my pitch for why Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama needs to win the @autismswagsummit (or at the very least get to the finals)

people have already talked about his intense autism coding (difficulty reading social cues, low empathy/high compassion, strict moral code, flat affect, bluntness, hyperfixating, emotional dysregulation/emotions being all or nothing) but I'm going to put my English degree to good use and talk about the narrative importance of Mob's autism

the entire plot of Mob Psycho 100 would not exist without Mob's autism

first and foremost, the 100 in Mob Psycho 100? it's a symbol of Mob's emotional dysregulation. the narrative uses a percentage counter as a device to indicate Mob's emotional state -- the percentage till Mob's "explosion." emotions and psychic powers are directly related within the narrative, and because he fears the strength of his emotions/powers, he's been repressing his emotions since he was a child. however, as anyone who tries to repress their emotions can tell you, that only works for so long. the percentage meter indicates the build up of emotions until he cannot repress them anymore -- until he essentially has an emotional meltdown through a psychic explosion. these explosions aren't strictly negative emotions either; they can range a wide spectrum of emotions, from rage and sadness to gratitude and trust. any buildup of emotions can be overwhelming and trigger a meltdown

aside from that, the core thesis of the series is self-acceptance. Mob starts off the series with painfully low self-esteem, for a number of reasons -- he dislikes that he doesn't fit in, he feels massive guilt for allowing his psychic powers to hurt his brother when they were little. he wishes he didn't have these powers (which, I cannot emphasize enough, are a metaphor for autism) and he wishes he could just be "normal." over the course of the series, it is emphasized over and over that psychic powers are normal, they're just another trait a person can have. there's good parts of them and bad parts, but at the end of the day, they are a neutral trait. you can understand why "your autism is a normal part of you, not something to be hated or feared" is an important message

which brings us to the final arc of the series. Mob Psycho 100 does not end with a climactic battle with some big bad, but rather with a confrontation between Mob and the part of himself he's locked away. this other part of him symbolizes a lot of things, but most importantly it symbolizes his psychic powers and his autism. since he realized as a child that his psychic powers (autism) could potentially hurt someone if he's not careful, he's been shoving that part away from him and attempting to mask and be "normal." this manifestation of his psychic powers/autism is, understandably, pretty bitter and angry about this. at the end of the day, he just wants to be accepted for who he is -- not for the face he presents to the world, but for who he really is on the inside. the culmination of the whole story comes through his loved ones showing him that they love him in his entirety, even when he's volatile or upset. they love Mob as who he is, and because his psychic powers (autism) are part of him, they love that part of him too. the resolution comes when Mob finally accepts all parts of himself, even his psychic powers (autism) because they're nothing to be feared or hated. they're just part of him.

genuinely, Mob Psycho 100 is the best representation of autism I've ever seen. Mob isn't the only autistic coded character in the series (I could go on and on about Serizawa's adult autism or the relationship between Ritsu's gifted kid syndrome and his undiagnosed autism) but his autism is definitely the most important to the plot of the show. his autism is presented realistically, with kindness and nuance and, most importantly, with neutrality. even if you don't vote Mob in the autism summit (which, you should. come on.) if you're ever wanting a show about autism and self acceptance that is kind without being saccharine, I cannot recommend Mob Psycho 100 enough

FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION:

Side Quest is definitely one of the weirdest fics I have ever seen get popular, for several content-related reasons.

Firstly, the racism. She writes her Serizawa to be half-black, half-Japanese, which is a perfectly valid hc if not for how she handles this fact. Ignoring the moments of subtle racism she gives Reigen (having him comment on the apparent "sloppiness" of his afro--which she also refuses to call an afro, by the way--and also having him guess his race via his racial characteristics), she blatantly and openly makes Toichiro racist towards Serizawa in a way that I feel we cannot ignore. For example:

I shouldn't have to say that calling a black man a "slave" in any context is fucked up, but I will for the sake of this post! Since she already think I'm insane :-) Also:

Once again, shouldn't have to say this but I will: Saying a black man has a "brutal masculine appeal" is so obviously and blatantly racist while also being entirely unnecessary for his character! We understand, as both readers and watchers of the base material, that Toichiro is a bad guy. We do not need him to then become racist, borderline-pedophilic, and a supporter of eugenics! And if you need quotes for some of these points, I will include one that has both:

Even if he is saying that he won't facilitate the "impregnation of a child", why the fuck is he laughing about it? Just a reminder: Toichiro in canon is only a terrorist and a child abuser. Yes, he is a bad person. However, I think elevating his evil to this level removes any concept of character depth that you could possibly have, and makes the ending of this fic (where he is seemingly normal and fine, with both his wife and child in his relative good graces) all the weirder. But again, I'm insane, right? Oh yeah, one more point about Toichiro that I found from the comments:

Now this tells me several things. Firstly, it's that she lacks the oversight to recognize when there is blatant racism in her works of fiction. Which is questionable, but I'm willing to let that slide because people should always be given the opportunity to grow. HOWEVER, the second part of this tells me that the first part might be a lie!!! Because hey!! If you are headcanoning a person's parent as being a WHITE SOUTH AFRICAN WITH EUGENICIST BELIEFS, you are basically saying your character was raised by an APARTHEID APOLOGIST. So I really don't know how you can avoid the racism embedded in that statement.

Now, let's move away from Toichiro because he's not the only character she completely butchers with weird concepts. Shimazaki is a trans chaser in this fic.

That's right. I'm not kidding. He is a chaser.

Once again reminding you that I'm the insane one.

There is literally no reason I can see as to why she would write this, other than that it is supposed to be a joke. Now, as an afab trans butch, there is only so much I can say to this point, but I will still ask: Who is laughing here? Who is this joke funny to? Is it to the trans women, who have to deal with similar kinds of harassment each time they try to go on a date? Or is it the Shimazaki fans, who I guess aren't weirded out by their fav being a chaser? Or is it just you, silvercistern? Is it just funny to you?

That point brings me to one of my last points with context. She seems to enjoy throwing in random "edgy" topics for either shock value or a laugh, neither of which I think her wording lands on. I did collegiate improv comedy for all four years of college (yes that may seem pathetic to you, but it was fun)--if anyone knows how a joke should sound, I think I'm one of the few. And, frankly, none of these land. For instance, the repeated "joke" of calling Reigen a creep or alluding to him being a pedo:

But, again, me? I'm insane, apparently. If you take issue with any of this, like I did, then to her you are insane.

This is not surprising to me, given that she already had a kind of breakdown to my friend regarding when they asked if silvercistern could tag one of her fics with sa.

But this is why it does not surprise me that she 1. would private her twitter account when faced with even the slightest backlash, 2. would then talk about the situation to her mutuals to garner sympathy, and 3. not even bother to read a single thing I said, given that she replied to my post in less than a minute after I had posted it.

By the way, one of those mutuals? Yeah, they are literally a toichiro/shou shipper. Here's the proof:

If you could make ten or less changes to each of the Monsterverse films and TV series, what would YOU pick?

My picks:

(Godzilla 2014)

(I know I'm in the minority and probably a bit of a heretic with this one, but...) Make Joe Brody less overacted and melodramatic in the present time frame than Bryan Cranston ended up making him in the actual film. Save Joe's displays of raw emotion for Sandra's death scene and for when Joe's confronting Monarch in the interrogation room scene at the end of his fifteen-year search. Because it's been fifteen years since Sandra's death, yet Cranston's heat in Joe's apartment scene makes it seem as if it's only been fifteen days. :P

Show more of the monster fights than the finished film did, including the Hawaii battle.

Give the Janjira Monarch staff an extra scene to characterise them a bit more, so that it's even more impactful when they bite the dust a moment later and we're experiencing Serizawa and Vivienne's POV of losing them all a bit?

(Godzilla vs. Kong)

Definitely have this film's story occur inbetween 2014 and KotM instead of after KotM. Reasons why, and how the film's story would look with this new chronology, are here.

No extra ‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’-ification of the Titans’ size, weight and movements. Stick to the balance that KotM had between the "slow, weighty and heavy" portrayal of 2014 and "fast, acrobatic and brutal," don't swing further onto the latter end of the scale like the actual GvK did after KotM. :P

Give Mechagodzilla just a bit more screentime. Maybe an extra test run scene, and/or draw the final battle or its "kill all humans" rampage in Hong Kong out for a little bit longer?

Give Madison - or rather her substitute on Team Godzilla since this version of GvK takes place before KotM - some more long-term planning for how they intend to expose Apex?

Make the Hollow Earth radioactive to the point where the humans need astronaut-suits with clear visors to survive in it outside of the HEAVs, to fit with it being the home of the radioactive Titans.

(Godzilla: King of the Monsters)

Less chronic cutting away from the Titan fights – do like GvK, where it only cuts away to the humans sparingly when it’s important, but keep the "human POV" angles on the Titan fights.

Show more of the Washington D.C. battle like the novelisation did.

Tone down Mark's dickish demeanour. Seriously, his anguish and character arc makes sense, but his attitude was WAY too obnoxious.

Somehow, fix Emma being too Unintentionally Unsympathetic. Maybe make her out to be viler and less forgivable, and have her be treated as such throughout the Boston scenes including her sacrifice? Or, maybe swap Emma and Jonah's roles around after Ghidorah's crowning: Emma's the one who completely succumbs to despair and refuses to help stop Ghidorah, while Jonah's the one who, despite his nasty and cold-blooded nature when it came to achieving their plan, proves that he was the more genuine of the two about wanting to save the Earth at the end of it all, and who sticks his neck out helping the heroes to stop Ghidorah in Boston.

Show more scenes of the other awakened Titans' carnage around the world, like the novelisation's Mokele-Mbembe subplot and awakening scenes. Maybe release a three-hour director's cut/extended edition which features these scenes and subplots?

Play Godzilla's stratosphere drop, which is basically a meteor impact, a bit more realistically - instead of it just levelling the block below his back and leaving everyone standing a mile away unscathed, have the blast from the impact obliterate a LOT more of the city for miles around the impact site.

Portray the government less as arrogant, prejudiced jerks and portray them more as authorities whom are genuinely, understandably terrified of the Titans' capacity to inflict mass destruction with little warning, are fearful of the events of 2014 happening again, and are concerned and anxious at how ineffectual Monarch are and at how the top brass come across as just a little too pro-Godzilla for them to feel reassured.

Relegate the "Do Not Touch the Funnel Cloud"-esque effect of Ghidorah's hurricane to the eye of the storm - clearly show more of the outer-hurricane razing down every non-Titan thing it passes over both manmade and natural, particularly when the Argo is fighting through the storm over Isla de Mara to get to Ghidorah and then get away from it, and when the storm is sweeping into Boston while Madison takes cover inside Fenway Park, before Ghidorah physically showing up causes the eye to settle over the city.

(Skull Island (2023))

Tone down the snark and corny dialogue just a little bit.

Show Mike's grief for Hiro's death coming through when he's crippled by the neurotoxin and thinks he's at the end of his line. It would stand to reason that him processing his grief has been naturally stalled because of the life-or-death situation him and his friends are currently in on Skull Island as keeping themselves alive takes priority, but when Mike thinks he's reached the end of his rope when he's lying sick in the mercenaries' camp, his grief can finally come out.

Show a mix of new Skull Island creatures and the previous Monsterverse materials' Skull Island creatures, instead of near-exclusively using suspiciously-similar new creatures for the show.

Give Kong a few POV scenes of his own in Episodes 4-6.

(Monarch: Legacy of Monsters)

Make Godzilla just a bit more active in the 2015 plot than he was in the show's version. Like, have more references to Monarch tracking his changing movements as things ramp up, particularly in the leadup to Godzilla's appearance in the Axis Mundi in the final episode, so that the latter feels less like a "mandatory Godzilla final battle" shoehorned into the show and more like it's a narrative payoff that was foreshadowed and that the show was leading towards.

Don't ignore/retcon the events of Godzilla: Aftershock like the TV series ended up doing when it was referring to the post G-Day monster activity.

Feature Eiji Serizawa in at least one episode, and make references to Shinomura in the leadup to the Bikini Atoll bombing scene, even if the show's version of the backstory isn't quite Godzilla: Awakening-compliant.

The TV series explained to us why Bill Randa became so bitter, why he became obsessed with saving Monarch in the 1970s, and why he was interested in Skull Island's potential to vindicate the Hollow Earth theory... but I don't think it really explained why Old!Bill lost Young!Bill's admiration for Godzilla and the Titans in the series and came to believe they all needed to be exterminated to protect humanity, up until he started seeing Kong as something more in the handprint scene. So another change I'd make is probably having the series explain that bit of Old!Bill's character a bit more, even if it's only with a couple throwaway lines in Bill's Episode 9 scenes, after he's lost Keiko to the Endoswarmers or after he's lost Lee in Operation Hourglass.

(I've excluded Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire from this listing because I haven't seen those films.)

Ohhhh!! I see someone has been around before I started posting MP100

Just counting the Main, honestly I think Serizawa would hit red first, you might be saying that he’s a gamer and also wildly strong but they aren’t playing minecraft- their IN minecraft.

So how is he a red life first? Well he’s pretty introverted, like Mob, he is probably always got a watching eye soaking everything in all the time and because of that I think he’d have a embarrassed amount of deaths to ender man, he’s like, oh hey there- WAIT WAIT WAIT and he’d crumble when it came to self defence against certain people. Also also, he’d definitely be the kind to become ally’s with everyone and then get betrayed.

I think while Serizawa would hit red first, Dimple would be out first which is embarrassing as he’s pretty damn strong. I think he’d just go in head first with minimal planning and gear, he wouldn’t prioritise ally ship and so when you rock up with a team and armour and food and he’s ready to throw hands with the bare minimum forethought. He’d lose. I simply cannot see him putting time and effort into building a base or farming for food or materials or anything. That or he’d fall off something and die, you know he’s not putting the time into making and enchanting feather falling boots. He’s got the will but when everyone else is building their defences, pure strength will only take you to a certain point in the game.

Who would win? I feel like the most basic choice would be Reigen simply because when that man doubles down he doubles down. He’s spending days mining for gear, he’s got a plan from day one, he can talk himself out of or run away from fights- he has a infuriating amount of ender pearls. The trades are immediate and now he has ally’s even if they are some what strenuous because he wouldn’t nurture them other then when he needed something. We’ve seen another conman, Scar, who has the tendency to die all the time like Reigen might have done in minecraft absolutely rock the boat and so I think Reigen would some how swindle himself that win out of pure persistence. With the world full of really crazy strong people, you KNOW he’s decked out in magic and ender pearls, really he’s a active problem even if he’d lose if he fought head on, which he never does.



If Reigen didn’t win I think it would be Teru but only after he starts to drop his tough guy persona. He’d make ally’s, he’d share resources, he’d have a plan and when it came down to it he’d know everyone’s weaknesses and have the equipment and skill to back up his kills. And if you came for him he’d have plenty ally’s to back him up, really, unlike Reigen who, you understand your ally ship ends when he no longer needs something from you, you want Teru on your side and he’ll be loyal right up until the end, If you gain his favour enough to not be picked off before that.

I think Mob would have a real real hard time with this game. He’s got power under his arm but when it comes down to it he’d simply not want to hurt someone who was simply trying to survive and while he is kind, making ally’s and coming across as trust worthy is really hard when your sweating and noticeably uncomfortable in every interaction. I think he’d house far away and have a very impressive farm, he’d maybe be a pacifist and even try and step in and tear people apart like they could survive the game if they just got along. Maybe in another world Reigen would train him to come off as scary and then keep him safely away from murderous players, get him right up to the win and then take himself out because a kid like that Is much more deserving of surviving then him.

I think Ritsu would also die pretty early. Don’t get me wrong, he’d definitely try and his traps would destroy your home and supplies and he is a force to be reckoned with but he’d ally with Shou and only Shou, and when Shou dies, he’d be missing a big part of the team and wouldn’t survive for long after. I do think Shou would go before him, he’s too reckless and would probably go from a world related death. Maybe Ritsu gives his last life to keeping Mob in the game when he refuses to fight.

I know Yoshioka isn’t really a character but I’m gonna say if he was and Reigen got him on his side, EVERYONES fucked. He’s scary dog privileges with the means to back it up would make Reigen unstoppable, and Yoshioka would need Reigen too because while he’s got the bark and the bite he doesn’t have the absolute audacity that Reigen does. Now if it was between Reigen and Yoshioka I think they’d fight ‘fair and square’ (cactus ring flashbacks) and Reigen would get his ass handed to him. Or Yoshioka might just let him win because he’s in gratitude for all the time and effort Reigen put into filling the space of his short comings and in the end, he values the relationship and company more and wouldn’t see a point in continuing without his ally. And in all honesty, Reigen worked really hard for that win and would continue to carry himself after while Yoshioka would stand little chance without him.

I apologize in advance for the ask, but I want to know what you think of Mob Psycho characters as sync pairs units in Pokemon Masters.

Would you make Mob super support or a unit that can solo everything like SST Red? And what would be their partner Pokemon? You can use Paldea Pokemon if you want to.

What about Reigen, Ritsu, Teru, Dimple, Serizawa, and Shou? I like to think Teru has speed-oriented multipliers like Ramming Speed or Inertia, and Power Play on the grid because it suits him, he also can have Endurance+Unyielding. Shou has 4 bar attacks because his combat style is more of recharging and attacking with a huge blow.

I like to think Telepathy Club members all have Ultra Beasts as their partner Pokemon, because of their alien-related activities. Takenaka in particular I think might have Blacephalon, with Mind Blown and some Standfast on passive and grids (or make him something like Hugh just for fun).

What are your ideas? I would like to know what you think!

No need to apologize. I'll be honest, I've never really thought about this before so I'm going to try my best to wing it here.

Mob As much as support initially makes sense given his focus, I'm more inclined to say Tech with good support capabilities, terrible DPS, but explosive nuke. His emphasis is on helping others and avoiding using his powers to fight, but his whole thing is that he's also like...unquestionably the strongest. So I think that style of Tech nuke makes the most sense.

As for what he'd be partnered with, I'd say something Psychic-type makes the most sense. While I am obviously somewhat biased, I think Mesprit makes a ton of sense for him. Emotions are a huge component of his powers, and understanding them a major part of his arc. I think it'd be a really cute partnership, especially for like...after the series, you know?

Ritsu Ritsu's a bit tougher. I think as much as he wanted to be strong like Mob, Ritsu's much more support-aligned overall, given his ultimate role as the little brother Mob can tell anything to. I'd say maybe emphasize support, in a way that complements what Mob needs and make them kind of a set. I'm almost thinking he, Mob, and Teru would get all the Lake Trio, with Ritsu having Uxie as the super smart kid, and Teru having willpower. But that's (1) super biased, and (2) cheating. So as a backup...okay, I was scrolling the list of Psychic-types, saw Indeedee, and was like "that one because of the maid outfit," but I'll be serious about it. At first I wanted to say Bastiodon because of the protectiveness thing, but maybe Hisuian Arcanine because of the loyalty thing.

Reigen Reigen's decisively support, and I'm gonna say Kecleon. His playstyle would focus on broad defensive support, since that's like...a big thing with him. Kecleon works thematically because of the whole type change thing, which I think connects with Reigen's general tendency to blend in with the psychic crowd, and adaptability. Also, Mystery Dungeon nod.

Teru I consulted the wife about this one, and she said Ceruledge. It fits, I think. He's a little shit, but not a bad person, and Ceruledge is still a knight-themed Pokemon so there's at least an angle of protection there. I do like your ideas for playstyle, so definitely Tech with some debuffing focus and Power Play. Maybe emphasize offense debuffing? He does try to stop Ritsu going down the path he does in Season 1, and is focused on trying to stop Mob during the final arc. Endure with healing on Bitter Blade would be pretty great too.

Dimple So my first impulse was Rotom, as the only Ghost-type that actively possesses things, but that's objects not people. So then I was like Gholdengo because of God Dimple, but that's fairly superficial, if funny. But then I thought...maybe Banette. Curse doll that becomes your friend when you treat it well? That seems more character thematic. In any event, I think Tech, in the style of strong DPS and team-related buffs. Like how you have Masked Royal buffing speed for the team. That kinda thing. I think given his ability to kinda store up power, that he'd be able to do stacks of moves up next or supereffective up next. Also maybe a Hugh-like passive where he recovers HP after his first death. For reasons.

Serizawa Another I had to consult the wife on. She said something like Audino that's focused on healing, and that seems good. Though I'd like to push for Striker. I know that's a little bizarre but hear me out. Serizawa is the one in need of support, not necessarily providing it, and mega evolution that changes typing to Fairy feels like a thematically appropriate transition. Though I would also like to contribute, he gets an alt that has a pre-evolution that doesn't evolve, and it's Sobble. It is his baby and he loves his precious anxiety lizard.

Shou We agreed immediately that he'd be a Fire-type. I'm going to throw out Infernape, because I feel like it has the highest "I'm the main character" vibe. That was apparently a thing? His design was supposed to look like a standard shonen protagonist? Blast Burn is a thing. Pure striker. Probably has one of those trainer moves that caps offenses instantly.

Tome Okay, love the idea of Ultra Beasts, but also: Beheeyem. It's a literal alien. Designed off all the alien stereotypes. It feels perfect. 100% striker. I want it to Dynamax.

Body Improvement Club I can't remember all their names but they all get the super muscle Fighting types. Onigawara gets Pangoro 100%. Goda's support because he's such a bro, and my wife says Machamp which is fine. The blue-haired guy whose name I can't remember is Tech, because apparently he's #2 on tests in the school and is secretly super smart.

Luigi! He's definitely the f/o I've known and loved the longest!
