When The Fox Scholar is Charmed by The Peddler

My (late) submission for Week 1 of Tea’s SuoSaku MonsterFucking Month, inspired by Episode 2: Goose Mountain from the Yao-Chinese Folktales (2023).

Bonus Art + Sneak Peak for Week 2

Bro just dubcon-ed the poor guy for his geese and ran off, leaving a very angry and confused (+ a lil turned on) vendor.

Also, I’ve had the Fox Yaoguai-Scholar! Suo thing stuck in my brain for weeks and I just decided to use the idea for Tea’s MFM na lang because why not…and it’s hot. On that note, I originally had the idea to assign the boar demon to Sakura (which if you aren’t familiar with the story; the boar demon is the lover of the fox demon’s concubine aka rabbit demon), but then I remember the chemistry between the peddler and the fox scholar so I went with that instead.

can you believe Oracle hands out these compute instances for free with 4 cores and 24gb of ram

The next logical step I think is to mount my Google drive with rsync and abuse that storage space to get around my 200gb Oracle storage limit

#davepaste #ya the caveat is that they're arm64 #which is fine for me since i used linux on my Nintendo Switch fairly regularly (along with Android) for a few years #and got used to the software restrictions arm brings and how to work around em #if you need a host for something like a website or a private Minecraft server for your friend group you can approach me #I've got plenty of overhead still #(mutual only offer)

i love being able to do things for friends just because i have the ability to, the dopamine hit is fucking amazing

#i have an account with a minecraft server host #and run a server already for one group i play with #and my other group of friends were talking about starting one #i can do at least two servers without having to pay extra so i offered to run one for them too and we did a test to make sure the distance #wouldnt affect anything (theyre in europe im in the US)#and it didnt so now all my other friends get to play too!#and nobody spends extra money!#its a win win!#anyways i love my friends and doing things for them makes me so happy

You can apply either to keep a watch over chat to see that rules are being followed ('Channel Patrol'), keep a watch over voice chat when it's being used for the same reason ('VC Patrol'), or help out specifically with the watch party events we sometimes hold in the server ('Streaming Admin') — this will involve screen sharing OHSHC episodes and occasionally movies. the only hurdle left and probably the biggest one too is that it's been nine years since mianite s1 ended. the chance of someone still having a "recent" server backup somewhere is absolutely minuscule and combined with the chances of us being to contact them things are not looking great
