tries to act unbothered. key word: tries. you have no idea how the look in your eyes makes him feel - how he instantly melts under your soft and loving gaze, how he would do literally anything for you just because of the way you’re looking at him. he always jokes that he has you wrapped around his little finger, but who are we kidding. plus, we know he tries to act tough and manly most of the time, but cheol is a baby, so he immediately turns into the biggest blushy mess on the planet. besides, it’s so crazy to him that someone can look at him with so much love and adoration, and the fact that he gets to call you his?

“stop.” 

“what?” you laughed, brushing away the hair from his forehead. 

“stop looking at me like that,” he muttered, hiding his head in your neck, too shy to look you in the eye. 

“like what, hm?” you joked, waiting for the whines, and pouts from your boyfriend. 

seungcheol could act all tough as much as he wished, but you knew the real him - the blushy, shy, and adorable him that turned into the biggest puddle in your arms, just from the way you were looking at him. 

“i love you,” you heard a quiet whisper, followed by a gentle peck on your shoulder. 

“i love you too, my dumbass.”

𐙚 wonwoo

does not know how to act, because how is it possible that he’s suddenly feeling so shy, and… so loved? and just by the way you’re looking at him. but the look, oh the look you have in your eyes. wonwoo isn’t sure it should be even humanly possible to have so much emotion just in your eyes, but yours, yours are filled with so much adoration. you’re looking at him like his the most beautiful thing ever created, and he does not know how to react to something like that.

wonwoo could see you standing in the doorway to your bedroom from the corner of his eyes. it was weird, because usually you’d come in and stand behind him, sometimes you’d warp your arms around his shoulders or kiss his cheek, but now you were only standing there. 

pausing his game, he took off his headset ready to ask you if everything was okay, but he was immediately struck by the look on your face when he turned his head. 

“wha- what’s up?” he asked, his voice shaking. why were you looking at him like that. what was going on? 

“nothing, i just came to check up on you,” you smiled, tilting your head. 

in that moment, wonwoo felt like the luckiest man alive.

𐙚 mingyu  

his instant reaction is waddling over to where you’re standing and wrapping himself around you. he knows how much you love him - whether you convey it by your words, actions, touch. but to mingyu, the deepest confession of love is definitely the way you simply look at him. anyone can see the way your eyes are filled with nothing but adoration for the man standing in front of you, and to mingyu that’s the loudest “i love you” you could ever say. nonetheless, he always turns into a big fluff of shyness, and giggles when he notices your love struck expression.

“baby,” mingyu whined, his lips forming into a sweet pout. “don’t look at me like that,” he mumbled, before setting down the pan, and going around the kitchen island to wrap his strong arms around you. 

“i’m just watching you cook, gyu,” you said as a matter of fact with a small smile on your face, like you didn’t just melt his heart, turning him into a whining mess.  

you knew exactly what you were doing, and how your boyfriend would react, but you couldn’t help yourself. being with him like that was so… domestic. it made you feel like home. 

“i love you, baby,” he said, his voice muffled.

𐙚 vernon

if wonwoo doesn’t know how to act, then i don’t know how i’m supposed to describe vernon’s reaction. no thoughts, just puppy eyes. i doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together, vernon always freezes whenever he sees that look on your face. the look that says more than a hundred “i love you’s”, the look that never fails to make his heart beat faster, the look that says “you’re mine forever”. he never comments on it much, because - what is he really supposed to say in a situation like that, but it always, always makes him feel like the luckiest person alive. what he doesn’t know is that whenever you give him a look of pure love and adoration, his eyes are filled with as much affection as yours.

when you didn’t answer him like you immediately would when it came to food, vernon raised his head to make sure you were still listening to him.

“baby are you-,” his voice immediately fell silent when he saw how intently you were looking at him. but it was more than that.

you looked at him like he was the only person in the world you wanted to look at.

the voice in his head tried to explain it by saying that you were actually alone in your apartment, so there weren't many other people for you to look at, but... that look, it was something else.

“yes, vernon?”

“um, the pizza, or the usual?”

his default reaction is to run and hide. jun cannot fathom how much love your eyes can hold, and adding the fact that he's the one that makes you look like that??? yeah, no, he’s good. he just ends up staring right back at you, eyes big and sparkly, not knowing he looks at you with the same amount of adoration, which just makes you chuckle (seriously, he couldn’t get any cuter). to protect his heart, he’d try to turn the situation around into a joke, but jun would just stumble over his words (adorably) and end up with a big blush on his cheeks, and a shy smile

jun refused to look at you, not after how he caught you looking at him with that look, no. he would not let you see how shy it made him. 

“junnie, please,” you giggled, and cupped his cheeks that were dusted with an adorable blush, which you’d never get tired of. “why won’t you look at me, hm?” you crooked an eyebrow at him. 

with his little pout and sparkly eyes, you couldn’t help but smile widely. what did you ever do to deserve such a precious human being? 

“stop looking at me like that,” he muttered, as his eyebrows furrowed at your amused expression. 

“like what?” you teased.

starts giggling like crazy - he always gets all smiley when you look at him, but when he catches you with this particular look that says “i love you” so loudly, hoshi just can’t contain himself. he’d skip over to you like a little girl, and hug the shit out of you, while vibrating with love himself. he’s just so happy to have someone that looks at him like that - like he’s their entire world while he’s doing the most mundane things ever, he just has to convey his love and adoration right back

“kwon soonyoung, what are you doing?” you laughed, as your boyfriend threw his arms around you, not in a gentle way. 

you didn’t get a proper response, just a bunch of hoshi sounds - giggles, laughs, and something even you couldn’t understand. the usual. 

“i love youuuu,” he said, and even though you couldn’t see (thanks to his not so gentle hug), you could hear the smile in his voice. that was probably what you loved about him the most - you weren't sure whether his next hug would almost suffocate you or whether it would be as delicate as a feather.

after a while, when his sudden burst of love had passed, he grabbed you a little gentler and pressed his cheek to the top of your head, and as you stood there, you couldn't believe that a simple look could cause such a reaction in him.

𐙚 minghao

gets so so so shy. minghao sees himself as a very composed person that’s very in touch with his emotions, and while usually he’s good at hiding his feeling when he has to, the second he catches a glimpse of you staring at him like he hung the stars and moon, he’s gone. he blushes like crazy, immediately turning away from you because you won’t catch xu minghao blushing, suddenly acting like the packet of ramen is the most fascinating thing in the world. poor bub just doesn’t know how else he’s supposed to act (he’d be a bit clingier than usual throughout the day, though, it’s his silent way of saying “thank you”)

you were in the middle of making a late dinner for you and minghao when you felt two familiar arms wrapping themselves around your waist. 

“the dinner will be ready in twenty minutes, honey,” you said, not paying much attention to your boyfriend’s sudden clinginess. 

“mhm,” he hummed, and placed his chin on your shoulder, pulling your body closer to his. you couldn’t help but smile - there was nothing better than minghao in teddy bear mode, especially with how gently, but securely he was holding you. 

“i love you, you know,” he said, and placed a soft peck on your cheek, nuzzling his face further into your neck.

would melt on the spot, and turn into a puddle of love and fluff. he’d look at you with sparkly puppy eyes and a tiny pout, because how dare you to mess with his poor heart like that - no amount of “i love you’s” could ever express how grateful he is for having you in his life, and that he’s able to call you his. chan always gets so cuddly and giggly after catching your lovestruck gaze, it's like his entire being is filled with your love, and you can be damn sure he’d stick by your side for the rest of the day. you’re the best at bringing out the maknae out of chan

you could only shake your head in amusement at chan’s antics, as you fell back into a comfortable silence once again, both of you focused on the show you were watching.

little (shy) gremlin activated because jeonghan will tease you with a hint of a blush on his cheeks (he mostly does that to distract you from how shy your stare made him). but after some snarky (lovingly, of course) comments, he’d just cling to you, and nuzzle his head into your neck telling you how much he loves you. no words could ever express how that look - so full of love and adoration made him feel. it’s just the feeling of being so… loved. yeah, that does things to him

“what is it jeonghan?” 

“nothing,” he said sweetly, not tearing his eyes from you. 

you rolled your eyes at your boyfriend’s antics. you weren’t sure what you did this time to deserve his usual teasing, not that it really mattered, but you couldn’t help but get a bit annoyed by him staring so intensely at you. 

“you know i love you, right?” he said after a while, just when you thought he’d proceed with his day, and leave you alone. instead he wrapped his arms around you from behind, and put his chin on your shoulder. 

you turned your head around, kissing his nose. “i know, honey. i love you too.”

𐙚  joshua 

smiles fondly right back at you with the same amount of adoration (to be honest, joshua always looks at you like that, it’s his default setting), but when he catches your lovestruck gaze he just cannot help but scrunch his nose cutely, and smile with just as a smitten expression as yours. from the third person's perspective this might look a bit scary weird, because why are you just staring at each other smiling like that? but you, you are just wrapped up in your little bubble of love

“do you think we look weird?” you asked, your eyes glued to your boyfriend’s adorable face. you’ve been sitting like this for the last five minutes, looking at each other unable to tear your eyes from each other.

just a second later the door to the bathroom opened and closed, and coups emerged from the hallway. “um, you guys okay?” he asked, suspiciously. 

you and joshua just proceeded to burst out laughing, leaving your friend very concerned, and very confused.

woozi in his woozi fashion tries to act unbothered, but there is no way he could ignore your look full of nothing but adoration. for a second he gets so overwhelmed by the love that’s radiating off of you, because it’s so crazy to him that all of that affection is dedicated to him. jihoon would maybe try to turn it into a joke to hide how shy you made him, or just not comment on your lovestruck gaze at all, but no worries - the image of you and your love filled eyes would stay with him for the rest of the day

“hey, baby? what is this?” you asked, sliding the piece of paper that looked like it was about to fall apart over to your boyfriend. he looked up from his computer, scanning the paper quickly.

“it’s just some silly lyrics,” he shrugged. you would’ve believed him if not for the small blush creeping up on his cheeks.

seokmin has one of the most romantic souls in all of seventeen, so it’s no surprise he always looks at you with the most lovestruck expression, no matter what you’re doing. at this point you’re so used to it that you don’t comment on it anymore, but the situation is so much different when he catches you looking at him with eyes filled with nothing but love. dk’s immediate reaction is to kiss you all over your face with soft pecks, and then bear hug you and tell you how much he loves you. he just has to convey his love right back to you, he can’t let you think that he doesn’t notice how you look at him

you swore you’d kill him one day for thinking he’s a bother. “lee seokmin,” you grumbled, and pinched his arm. 

“auch,” he whined, rubbing his arm. “what was that for?” you took that opportunity to untangle yourself from him. “shut up, and kiss me or i swear to god.”

boo gets a bit sulky, because how dare you to look at him like that? and what is he supposed to do now? no hugs, kisses or words could ever convey how grateful he is for you. he settles for waddling over to you with a small pout, and sparkly eyes to first - whine “don’t look at me like that”, and second - kiss your cheek and wrap his arms around you. sometimes he thinks he’s not worth enough for you to be looking at him like that - he’s just making a snack, so why are you looking at him so lovingly? at the end of the day, your lovestruck look fills him with so much love and reassurance, and he could never thank you enough for that

warmth spread on your skin, sunlight peeking on you through the window. as you slowly stirred awake, you embraced the feeling of coziness – fresh air, comfortable blanket and duvet, fluffy pillow… warmth, so much of it. 

but in a pleasant way. a way that hugs you and surrounds you in a bear alike grasp. 

and you knew that another source of it was your personal teddy bear boyfriend wonwoo. 

finally peeking an eye open, you saw the man himself. and, as per usual, mere seconds after waking up you were already stunned by his beauty. 

he had his glasses on, resting on the ridge of his pretty nose. plush lips were parted as he was focused. wonwoo was reading a book, holding it with his right hand – pinky and thumb holding the pages down as the rest of fingers were supporting the weight. his upper back was pressed against the headrest, probably not the most comfortable position.

the sunlight fell on his figure, usually ebony eyes being now lighter, reminding you of pools of honey. they moved as he scanned the letters, fully emerged in the text.

sliding your gaze down, to his attractive neck and collarbones… down to his bare chest. you couldn’t help but smile, the gesture probably imprinting on his skin. 

that is always a signal that the weather has shifted and it’s warmer: wonwoo is sleeping without his shirt. not the flowers blooming or astrological signs… just wonwoo and his lack of upper piece of clothing. 

”someone’s awake, hm?” he hummed, his deep morning voice sending shivers down your spine. you’ll never get used to this - even though his voice (and laugh) might be the most beautiful sound in the whole universe. 

“mhm…” you purred, too lazy to form words yet. 

you just realised wonwoo’s left hand was holding you. it snuck under your (his) oversized t-shirt and moved in soothing motions on your bare back. 

deciding to get even more of him, you shuffled closer and tucked your head in the crook of his neck. 

“i made breakfast, it’s still warm” wonwoo announced softly and you could feel the vibrations coming from his neck when he spoke. 

whatever he did, it always gave you butterflies. whether it was… breakfast in the morning or just washing the dishes for you. he made feel like a teenager again; all sweet inside. 

“in a sec…” you grunted, letting your eyes close again. you were just so… comfy… so… 

“hey, misses, don’t snooze” wonwoo chuckled, his chest buzzing. a smile sprung on your lips but your eyes remained closed. 

“you’re reading either way, i’ll just nap” replying, you weren’t sure how he understood you: half of your words came out as a slurred speech. 

but he understood, he always did. 

you felt him move a bit, probably to put the book away. then, it was all sudden but oh so soft, his right arm wrapped around you as well. your face momentarily squished into his chest (not like you minded) before he quite literally manhandled you – rolled over a bit closer and then made you sit up on his lap. trapping him between your thighs, one hand resting on his chest and the other rubbing your eye in a sleepy manner. 

this was apparently very funny because wonwoo laughed wholeheartedly, hands squeezing your sides.

“what?” you huffed, trying to act annoyed. 

“you’re just so cute, baby” he replied with that boyish smile of his. 

there was a certain way in which he looked at you. for a while you didn’t realise, only when your friends pointed it out: wonwoo admired you, looked at you as if you hung the stars yourself. 

“don’t look at me like that” you giggled, realising he’s doing it now. sure, he wasn’t doing it in purpose. but wonwoo just couldn’t help himself but scan your pretty features, take in your appearance in front of him – basking in sunlight, having messy hair and a bare face. 

“why?” your boyfriend teased, poking your sides gently. 

“because i’m shy” you let out a grunt and hung your head down, trying to hide your face from him. 

“ah…” he sighed, amused. you moved closer and pecked his forehead, taking his hands off you in the meantime. 

and then you tried to escape, to brush your teeth.

because in no time wonwoo’s cat-alike instincts trapped you in his hold again. 

“where are you running off to?” he teased and patted the spot were you were sleeping. you sat there, crossing your legs and as you yawned loudly, he placed down the breakfast on a wooden trace. 

fresh strawberries and some watermelon (no blueberries, though), toast with jam, croissants with chocolate and coffee. 

“when did you prepare that?” you asked and reached for a strawberry. wonwoo shrugged and grabbed the toast. 

“i woke up quite early, couldn’t sleep. i went on a run and on my way back i made the coffee. i decided to leave it here and read a chapter or two… and then you woke up” your boyfriend explained casually but your heart was racing like crazy. he’s saying it like it’s nothing but… you were whipped. wonwoo was like honey, you were like a bee – not only was he sweet but it would always make you stick to him. maybe it was a cliche metaphor but that’s how you felt. 

you noticed a bit of strawberry jam in the corner of his lips and you just smiled, reaching for the croissant. 

“thank you, i appreciate it” you hummed before taking a bite. 

“anything for you, angel” wonwoo smiled sweetly. 

after finishing the breakfast and putting away the plates, you decided to stay in bed a little more. you grabbed a tissue and cleaned wonwoo’s face from the jam, giggles and chuckles escaping from both of you. 

“a big baby, hm?” you cooed, cracking a grin. wonwoo just rolled his eyes dramatically and after you threw away the tissue, he pulled you closer. capturing your lips in a kiss, you could taste the sweet, sweet strawberry jam. smiling into the kiss, melting upon the moment you came to a conclusion that what’s what dating wonu feels like. like jam and butterflies.

HONESTLY?? thinking about him (and yunho I'm very guilty of always thinking about him) being like. aware of how Big he is, how much space he takes up, how scary he looks, yk? and the way he scares people with just looks but he is So very soft for you. makes the effort to be softer, slower moving, stuff like that. probably treats you like you're glass.

like just imagine coups being upset over something. you can see it in his face and the way his shoulders are all tensed up but the moment he notices you standing he makes a conscious effort to calm himself down. and even if he can’t calm his emotions, he’ll at least try and make it look like he has, just so you don’t have to see him like that. he’ll call you over and just hold you in his lap for a while. to you, it feels like just any other day (because obviously coups wants to cuddle with you on the daily) but to him, it’s so much more. it helps soothe him completely until he feels all soft and mushy like he usually does around you.

and if you’re spending time with all the members, he’ll definitely try and be more chill around you. i can imagine mingyu trying to provoke him into a meaningless argument, but all it does is make mingyu more annoyed when cheol just sits there all calm. it takes mingyu way to long to realise why cheol is being all soft, but the moment he sees the older man speaking to you in the gentlest voice he’s ever heard, it syncs in. honestly, it kind of scares mingyu to see him like that so he just leaves the room and searches for someone else to bother for a little while…

and even on normal days when cheol is perfectly happy and there’s no one around him to wind him up, he’s still so gentle with you. like you will not be able to lift a finger because if you do you’ll just have a pouty baby following you around and complaining in a whiny voice. ‘it’s my job to do that,’ and it’s literally something as simple as getting a plate down from the top shelf. will scold you so unbelievably gently if you even think about doing it again. like it’s barely a scolding because he’s talking to you so softly.

and as for treating you like glass, i completely agree. he looks like he could choke slam someone yet all you know is how unbelievably sweet and soft he can be. holds your hand literally everywhere with the excuse of ‘it means i can keep you out of harm’s way,’ which is ridiculous because what exactly is going to harm you whilst the two of you are walking around ikea? you don’t argue with him though because you know it’ll only get worse if you do. oh, you don’t want him to hold your hand? okay, well now he’s wrapped his arms around your waist and secured himself to your back! it’s your fault for complaining…

You typically bought the same cherry lip balm every time. It had spf 20, it was really cheap, made your lips super soft, and you liked the flavor. After a long night of studying at your university library, you went to reapply only to realize you had run out.

Ever since you moved in with your boyfriend, he’s taken to stealing all of your tubes of lip balm, making it so you needed to repurchase far more frequently than when you were single. You didn’t mind too much though- you loved him, and it helped that his lips weren’t super chapped all the time.

This particular night at the 24 hour drugstore by your shared apartment though, they were out of stock of your usual lip balm. Tired, and just wanting to be wrapped up in your partners arms, you begrudgingly bought another flavor from the same brand. You typically didn’t lean towards vanilla flavors- but you weren’t in the mood to be adventurous, and just wanted to soothe your chapped lips.

It had been a brutally cold winter, so after reapplying you made your way across the street back to your apartment. You sighed in relief after entering your building and made your way into your cozy shared space.

“How did the studying go?” He asked, his voice muffled as is his face was shoved in the crook of your neck.

“It was fine,” you couldn’t help but giggle as you squeezed him closer to you. Hoshi unwrapped himself enough to pop a small kiss onto your lips. He pulled back a frown on his eyebrows. “What?”

“It’s,” he pressed another kiss, “different. What is that?” He kept pecking your lips before he finally let you speak.

“They were out of the cherry chapstick,” you let out, and he immediately pressed his lips to yours again before pulling back.

“Vanilla?”

“Yeah?”

“I like it.”

You giggled then, leaning forward and pressing a small kiss on his own lips, “i like you.”

Since many people are enjoying 'In Pursuit of Wedded Bliss' (read the series here if you haven't) and because I feel bad that I could not do full-length stories for all the members I have decided to open my requests for short drabbles/spin-offs set in the regency!universe!

Here are the do's and don'ts to request!

for any of the 13 Seventeen members! (You can request for Dino and Hoshi although their installments are pending but I'll only take the request up after their installments have been fully published, and only if the request still makes sense. Don't worry- requests will be kept open long enough for you to request for them afterwards too).

that make sense in-universe. (These requests will be answered within the existing universe so your request can't have facts that conflict with events in the series. Example: Mingyu can't suddenly become a Duke.)

for things that might have taken place off-screen or were briefly skimmed past in the series (Example: honeymoons, weddings that happened off-screen, first kids, first fights, first meetings, all these things are cool).

instantly forgets what you were fighting about AND will chase your lips with his. cheol usually argues until the end, but when it comes to you, it doesn't matter if the blame falls on him (even though he didn't do anything) - as long as he can go back to hugging, kissing and suffocating you with his love, he’s a 100% fine with taking the blame (okay, who’re we kidding - he’ll be a bit sulky). you’d keep apologising to each other with his forehead resting on yours, and whisper quiet "i love you’s" that cheol would seal with his pouty lips on yours. 

❥ jeonghan 

jeonghan would roll his eyes, one - to tease you, two - to hide how shy your kiss made him. his cheeks would turn into a pretty shade of pink but he’d quickly try to distract you with a sarcastic remark or gaslight you that you’re the one that got shy, just to hide his reaction. at the end though, hannie would grab your hand, pulling you closer to him, and place a soft kiss on your lips. "you're lucky that i love you, because normally i would have kicked you out of the house by now."

❥ joshua 

shy at first then turns into a little menace. he’d try to turn it all against you and probably start chasing you around the apartment so he could kiss you back (a perfect way to put that awful argument behind you, since it was about something silly anyway). shua would still have a slight blush on his cheeks when he gets you, wrapping you in a big hug, as you’d try to wriggle yourself out of his grip. soon your living room would be filled with giggles and laughs. 

❥ jun 

turns into a shy and blushy bean, which always happens when you kiss him out of the blue. jun was just so focused on the argument and careful not to raise his voice at you that he totally didn’t catch the moment you grabbed him by his hoodie, smashing your lips into his. he’d thank his lucky stars for your kiss, he absolutely hated fighting with you, and nothing felt better than feeling your lips on his, your body close to his chest, and your hands cupping his face. 

❥ hoshi 

he’d grin so widely it’d be almost impossible, with the corners of his eyes scrunched adorably - soonyoung is a number one fan of your skinship and physical affection, and you kissing him is a cherry on top no matter what - even if you’re arguing. not a second would go by, and hoshi would pull you back, kissing you all over your face as both of you would erupt in a fit of giggles and soft smiles. just for funsies, soonyoung would try to start an “argument” with you just so you’d kiss him again.   

❥ wonwoo 

malfunctiones for a hot second. just kind of stands there and blinks - no thoughts, head empty. all his rational arguments would fly out of his head and he wouldn't know what to do with himself. "yes, well.. um." then he could react in two ways - either his ears would turn red with embarrassment, or he would snap at you with the "what the hell do you think you are doing." (with love of course). wonwoo just doesn't always know how to react to your affection.

❥ woozi 

jihoon can’t help but smile - he thinks you’re the cutest and most adorable thing ever. after he realises how widely he’s smiling, he scoffs and shakes his head in disapproval, just to hide how giddy and fluffy you made him feel with such a small thing. “do you think this will end the fight?” just give him another kiss and he’s gone - the fight is forgotten, there is no way jihoon will take this argument seriously anymore, thanks to you and your cute antics. what can i say, he has THE biggest soft spot for you. 

❥ dk 

he’s face would scream “kiss me again, please?” one of the things seokmin hates the most is fighting with you - even if it’s just a small everyday argument - he can’t handle that, so he’s so so happy and relieved when you kiss him. the second you pull away you’re met with his puppy eyes and an adorable pout, so you don’t have much choice but to kiss him again. your fight would quickly turn into a soft makeout session, filled with gentle kisses and apologies, though neither of you really knew what you were apologising for at this point.  

❥ mingyu 

sulky baby because he was about to say the best argument in his life, happy that he could finally stand up for himslef (though he knew he wouldn’t have won that fight either way). but to be honest, gyu would just be relieved that the fight was over, and if he wasn't so focused on kissing you back, smashing his lips into yours, he’d probably do a victory lap around the apartment. his puppy eyes would be sparkling with nothing but love and excitement, delighted that he could go back to being his usual clingy mingoo self.   

❥ minghao 

would ignore your kiss at first and keep on fighting with you, adamant on proving his point. he’d ignore the next three kisses as well, still babbling about whatever you were fighting about. by the fifth kiss, hao would start to lose his train of thoughts, and he’d start stuttering a bit, trying to remember what he wanted to say. then the sixth and seventh kiss would come, and that’s when he’d give up on the fight. “cute,” he’d mutter with a soft smile, and finally kiss you back. 

❥ seungkwan 

“i’ll give you a kiss later, just let me finish.” very adamant on finishing the fight although he’d completely forget what he wanted to say, all thanks to your kiss, (but boo would still continue to babble even though it wouldn’t make much sense). then he’d just kind of catch himself making no sense, and he’d just laugh and kiss you back, your fight long forgotten (just as you’d be about to fall asleep he’d remember what he wanted to say, and would keep you up for the next hour just so he could finish the argument). 

❥ vernon 

malfunctiones #2. “okay, but does that mean we’re done fighting?” just stands there trying to process what had just happened, because a second ago you were arguing, and now you were kissing him? a bit confused, but relieved at the same time - vernon hates fighting with you, and it doesn’t really matter to him who takes the blame - he could honestly take the whole blame if that meant the fight was over. he’d think about that lil kiss for the rest of the day, he’d even catch himself smiling at the thought of it in the middle of practice.   

❥ chan 

blushes furiously, and hides his head in your neck. “you can’t kiss me like that, we’re fighting!” he’d mumble, although you knew he had forgotten about the argument the second your lips touched his - chan was just too shy to admit that. turns into a little cutie, because even though your relationship is filled with surprise kisses, and out of the blue hugs, they always make him shy and so fuzzy on the inside, and he can’t help but blush as every coherent thought leaves his mind.

"what was your first impression of me?", wonwoo asks, catching you off guard as you sipped your wine. "i'm curious to know what you saw in me that made you chase after me for nearly a month", he adds with a tease.

"i did not chase you for a month", you counter. "you totally did don't even lie", he says and you really have nothing to defend yourself after that. "you're so mean", you mutter jokingly as you take another sip of your wine. you were going to need some courage for this.

"i just thought you were cute okay", you say after a few seconds of silence, and he looks at you expectantly, waiting for you to continue. "and you were pretty good looking. you just looked so sweet and quiet and just my type of guy", you add thoughtfully. "oh, and i loved how you'd recommend me books and i'd end up loving each one. i think that's when i started really crushing on you more", you admit, a smile creeping up on wonwoo's face.

"now it's your turn. what was your first impression of me?", you ask, genuinely curious.

"hm...i thought you were some crazy stalker", wonwoo says making you whack his arm. "im serious", you say. "i am too", he says with a chuckle making you narrow your eyes at him.

"i thought you just really loved books until i realized you would come to see me every other day", he says. "and at first i really wasn't interested in dating. but you pursued me and showed up three times a week. you'd make me laugh and we'd have impromptu book discussions together. i found myself being myself and having fun with you. and it was when the days you didn't come that i would find myself thinking about you", wonwoo says making you look at him with a happy pout. "aw that's so sweet", you say.

"you should be grateful i pursued you", you tell him. "oh baby i am", he says as he kisses your cheek, a smile blooming on your face.

Yoon Jeonghan

When Jeonghan suggested another film, you knew you weren't going to make it the whole way through. Your eyelids already felt heavy, weighed down by the urge to sleep. You agreed nonetheless, unable to say no to his incessant whining.

Little did you know, he had ulterior motives, a mischievous smile appearing on his face once he noticed your eyelids begin to sink down. He couldn't help but smile when he spotted your sweater paws make an appearance as they usually did when you were tired. You used them to rub your face, trying to wake yourself up a little.

"You can sleep on my shoulder, you know," He whispered, voice barely audible over the sound of the film. "I know how tired you get, honey."

"That sounds nice." You muttered, already leaning your body into your boyfriend's. He was warm, his arms wrapping around you like a blanket as he tried his hardest to lull you into dreamland.

Hong Jisoo

Your little snores sounded out into the room as Josh sat at his desk, writing whatever came to mind. It wasn't late, but you napping as he worked seemed to have become a routine, especially if you'd been busy.

He didn't mind though. You looked so soft and cute as you slept, making him fall deeper and deeper in love with you as each minute passed. Soon enough, he put his journal away, unable to focus on what he was writing, and moved over the the bed you were sprawled across.

"Move up, angel," his words barely roused you, only causing a small, disgruntled grunt to come from you. "I want to lie down too, Y/N."

With another noise of complaint, you complied, rolling to the side so that Joshua could lie down next to you. He wasn't at all tired, he just wanted to be close to you.

Lee Jihoon

"Are you tired?" It was only mid-afternoon, and yet Jihoon could see that you were already starting to slow down, yawn after yawn coming from you. Still, you shook your head, not wanting the date to end so quickly.

"Not in the slighte-" another yawn cut you off causing Jihoon to let out a loud laugh. He took you into his arms, holding you close to him as he continued to chuckle in your ear. You were a bad liar, especially when your body betrayed you. "Seriously, Jihoon. I'm not that tired."

"Sure you're not, Sugar." He pulled away from you, a grin on his face as he scanned over yours. Your eyelids were beginning to droop and your lips were pursed as you tried to hide another yawn.

"Oh shush."

Lee Seokmin

When you told him that you’d still be awake by the time he got home, of course he had his doubts. It was very rare that you made it until 9pm, and he wasn’t coming home until a least a few hours later. You wouldn’t hear it, though, brushing off any doubts that he expressed.

Of course, when he arrived home he was sure to be quiet, knowing full well that you’d be passed out somewhere. His suspicions were proven when he stepped into your living room  only to hear quiet snores coming from the sofa. He peered over, taking note of how sweet you looked with your eyes tightly squeezed shut, murmuring to yourself as you dreamt.

“Oh, baby,” He chuckled to himself quietly before kneeling in front of you. “Wakey wakey, baby.”

“Go away.” You were still asleep as you spoke, turning your head further into the pillow you’d lay your head on. If he didn’t care about you so much, he would’ve heeded your request, but the last thing he wanted was for your neck to hurt in the morning. He’d drag you to bed if he had to.

Boo Seungkwan

You were trying your hardest to stay awake and listen to what Seungkwan was telling you, but his voice was so soft and the way his fingers were scraping against your scalp was making it difficult. It was almost like he was purposefully trying to send you to sleep.

And he was. Seungkwan couldn’t lie, that was his intention all along. He loved it when you slept on him, your head heavy in his lap as your soft breaths tickled his legs. It was the time when he felt most at peace. With his love close to him, he felt like he could truly relax. 

“Seungkwan, you’re sending me to sleep.” He could barely understand your mutters, your sleepiness showing in your voice.

“I know, Petal,” He whispered back, voice equally as soft. He was scared that if he spoke much louder, he’d bring you out of whatever sleep-induced trance you’d slipped into. “Give into it. Just let your eyes shut and give in.” He leaned over and placed a kiss on your head.

“I’ll be here when you wake up.”

You were never really one to love the beach. You liked the aesthetic- the beautiful blue ocean, the sand, the way the orange setting sun looked as it sunk into the sea’s depths. The pros, however, were outweighed by the cons- the blistering heat from the sand, the irritation said sand would cause against your skin, the thought of all the animals in the world pissing in the water you were swimming in, and the way the bright sun made it impossible to see clearly.

Your boyfriend begged you to go the beach though, and you couldn’t deny him that joy.

So, you packed up your cooler, umbrellas, towels, and a good book to make your beach outing as tolerable as possible. Mingyu had tossed off his shirt before you could even see the ocean, so as he quickly set up the umbrellas you got to indulge in his beauty.

You were set under the umbrellas, sunglasses on as you watched him leap in and out for the water. Between wanting to build a proper sandcastle and wanting to be in the water he was truly having a great time.

You took out the disposable camera you had packed and whistled loudly, snapping a picture when he lifted his head up from the sand castle he was focused on. He forced an obnoxious grin once he saw what was in your hands, and you giggled as you took a second picture.

“My turn!” He called, leaping from his spot and splattering sand everywhere as he took the camera from you.

“You got sand all over me!” You pouted as he giggled, taking a picture of your face.

“You’re so cute,” he cooed, kneeling down to be at your eye level where you sat.

“I think you’re cuter,” you gently squeezed his cheek that somehow had sand on it. Before you could protest, he grabbed your face and pressed a kiss on your lips.

“Hey!” You shouted between giggles as he ran off to the ocean, escaping your wrath as you were now covered in sand.

“You can’t catch me!” He taunted and you sighed, leaning back on the towel you were on just to laugh. The beach may not be your favorite place, but you were with your favorite person, so it was still better than great.
