Made my own #shrugs pattern!!! Swipe left to see most of the process and the finished #vintage piece!! I have this amazing vintage pink fabric I wanted to make into a complete outfit, but I only had a small amount, so I used this as a practice piece and I'm so excited with how it turned out! Part 2 of the #skirtstory When the inspiration for this hit, I imagined a huge over the top beautiful sunset, but I didn't have the colors. Thanks to @joann_stores they're now on the way, but I didn't let that stop me from at least practicing! There's missing stitches, misstitches and super sleepy 3am mistakes all through this, but it's mine. It's not finished and neither am I! Sooooo.... After a loooong first week of #virtuallearning and my illnesses kicking my ass, I finally did some creating today!! I have been wanting to make a pink/ivory patchwork #gypsyskirt I ordered some #vintagefabrics and #notions and created the design on paper. I let it marinate for a bit, which I'm grateful for now because I figured out that by combining a circle skirt for the top and then blocking the rest how I want, will reduce the bulk around the waist, but allow a super full skirt design! (That's the plan anyway🤣) I mathed out the circle sizes needed and then created the pattern, printed, cut, assembled and cut the fabric.
