Going through all the emotions of being a bride with my sister this year has been so helpful for me to learn the side of my planning bride as I’ve yet to go there myself (planning a big wedding). Then also being a part a bad ass wedding styled shoot planning crew too has let me see that no one can do this alone, SO DON’T! You can have as many or as little bridesmaids as you’d like, and even if they don’t end up in your bridal party - all you have to do is ask! It never hurts to ask because the worst answer you can get is no but that’s not the worst thing, you might be surprise by who just might be ok to help you because you know you’d gladly do the same back if they ask. I was sitting bear wondering what this feeling was that I was having when I realized I have butterflies because I’m so excited for my styled shoot tomorrow! Ooo!!! Engagement season is in full bloom even though it's dark and gloomy outside! I love it when couples find it important to share their proposals with family so they wait until dinner or gift exchange time and then they pop the question! Not sure why it's worked so well but this trend in the industry has been going on for years and years just naturally. I love this time of year more so because of the LOVE that is everywhere in addition to all the holiday jams on he radio! Keep in mind a few things when looking for your vendors this season (after you get proposed to of course): . 1. Book your venue first - so you can set a date 2. Look for your vendors like officiant, makeup artist, photographer and dj first (there's only one of them) 3. Then you can look for your florist, cake/dessert, and rentals (these vendors can do a few weddings a day/ drop off goods vs. services) I only have 8 more slots available to book next year and inquiries are already starting to pour in!
