I think PWG has lost some of its luster, but I’m genuinely intrigued by the names they’ve released so far for this year’s Battle of Los Angeles. It seems like they’re once again trying to find people who will be unfamiliar to most wrestling fans, plus some indie stars. For a few years, BOLA has felt like PWG trying to put its stamp on whoever is currently most popular in independent wrestling, and that definitely isn’t the case with a lineup that includes Mick Moretti, Artemis Spencer, and Caveman Ugg. 

I would love to see the tournament filled out with names like Jake Parnell, Dominic Garrini, Matthew Justice, Leon Ruff, Brad Hollister, Tony Deppen, Christian Casanova, KEN DOANE, and Shane Mercer. I might actually watch the entirety of a BOLA for once!
