can’t believe people are buying this? the core of seth and roman’s relationship was always forgiveness, the same forgiveness dean couldn’t give seth and thus had them crash their heads until he realised he had to get over it. a wise rolleigns shipper taught me this when i used to find it crazy that roman was letting seth join him again without fighting or demanding his apologies: because roman had already forgiven him long before, back when “you’ll always be my little brother” still meant something.

wwe have a habit of retconning good storylines for cheap hype, they already tried it when face!seth said heel!dean ruined “six years of friendship” or “never heard him say the word love”. we’re lucky mox ran away in time before they definitively butchered his character too lol

dean: spends years going after seth after his betrayal not just for revenge but to make him feel what dean felt and to remind seth of what he took from them every single day, actually hates hurting seth but does it anyway because he deserves it and because dean's consumed by his loss and at least this way he gets to keep some part of seth, gets his revenge and is finally at peace and able to begin moving on, admits that he's still heartbroken 3 years later but can't hit seth with a chair when he asks and reunites with him because he's always loved seth and always wanted him back, betrays seth in a moment of overwhelming grief and rage and despair and seth lets him do it because he understands the pain he's dealing with and he doesn't want to hurt dean again, still hates hurting seth but he thinks he has to because seth is his weakness and he needs to destroy all the love in his heart so he can't feel that kind of pain again, leaves the company and seth is heartbroken and incomplete without his wrestling soulmate but supports him and just wants him to be happy

roman: calls seth a crossdresser and a virgin, mocks his injury, buries his title

Just so you know, I favour oneshots and I’m a sucker for dean and seth’s post-breakup dynamic, so it’s mostly old works or recent works set during their three feuds between 2014 and 2016.
