I have a bunch of favorites, but this is definitely up there (from this fic):

Not often 😂 I do have a list of things I need to happen in a fic, but how it ends is pretty much a mystery to me until I've finished it. Especially since there are times when I think it'll end but it just keeps going

Here’s an alternate version of a scene in this fic! As with all of their telepathy conversations, Jesse = bold and italics, Morgan = italics:

What he really wants is domination of yet another Earth. Barry’s speed will just give him the advantage, and it’s his MO: stealing the powers of the local heroes, so he has no competition. Or recruiting them. Both of which he’s done on my Earth. The only metas left with their own freedom, if you could even call it that, are too afraid to fight back. That’s your Earth’s fate if you don’t stop my dad from doing this.

What makes you think I can? That he’ll listen to me? As much as Harry had warmed up to her in the past few weeks, Morgan doubted he’d give up on his plan just because she asked nicely. Knowing her had probably only strengthened his resolve to save Jesse…not that she could blame him.

Right now, with things as they are…if you can’t, then no one can.

And…well. No pressure, Morgan supposed.

I initially had the dream be that Jesse is so desperate for help that she projects herself across Earths. There are...a few reasons I reworked this for the posted fic:

a) I didn't want to make the telepathy connection too powerful. It's one thing if Morgan is haunted by Zolomon threatening her (with Jesse’s life, no less) and some of that leaks over to Jesse...it's quite another if Jesse is able to literally project herself into Morgan's dreams. I couldn't really find a way to justify that. Especially since it never happens again in the AU…even when both of them are similarly desperate.

b) Jesse finding out about the secret Morgan's keeping from the Team (“Jay” actually being Hunter Zolomon aka Zoom) raises the tension early. This sets the stage for them being at odds...and them both disliking each other is gonna be critical later when they're put in a metaphorical "get-along" shirt (i.e. they have to be roommates when Jesse runs away from STAR Labs without telling anyone, like an idiot)

c) isn’t it so much more impactful for Morgan to find out about Harry stealing Barry’s speed for Zoom…from Zoom himself? I certainly think so. Especially since Zoom gets to twist the knife about Jesse, without revealing his full motives. Morgan’s still not entirely sure what he wants, which makes him even more terrifying to her

HWS My Life as a Villainess AU

(aka fem USUK reincarnating as the villainess & heroine in an otome game)

Aster (fem UK) and Amelia (fem US) are friends. Amelia is a big fan of video games, obviously, and often enjoys dragging Aster to play otome games with her because she finds her reactions and sarcastic comments hilarious. One of the games they play is, of course, Fortune Lover.

THEN TRUCK-KUN HITS THEM AND THEY BOTH DIE OOPS

Aster becomes the villainess and Amelia becomes the heroine.

Aster regains the memories of her past life and realises she has to avoid events of the game, otherwise she’ll die or get exiled. Only problem is, she doesn’t remember everything about the game due to not playing it as much as Amelia. So sometimes she accidentally steals other character’s scenes and makes them fall for her, but sometimes she also ticks certain characters off.

I’m mixing up some of the girls’ roles for Amelia, though she’s still mainly Maria in the game. The protagonist is a poor girl with a special, rare white magic, but she is actually betrothed to a nobleman. Why? She’s valuable to his family due to her rare magic and he’s valuable to her family because they need money.

Amelia makes food and then the snobby rich girls throw it on the ground. Aster sees this and stands up for her, threatening the snobby rich girls because she thinks if anything bad happens to the protagonist she’ll end up blamed. So she puts a stop to it. Now, unlike Catarina, Aster would not eat food off the ground. 😂 Instead, her kind gesture that touches Amelia is that she offers to remake them with her and then they get to bond a little over that.

At this point neither of them remember each other, because even though they look the same and Aster remembers having a past life, she can’t actually remember what Amelia looked like. Amelia doesn’t remember anything. Yet. She develops feelings for Aster, but attempts to keep them to herself since she’s betrothed. Cue Aster accidentally setting off scenes various characters and Maria/Amelia are supposed to have with each other, except oops, it’s Aster instead of those other characters.

Eventually Amelia remembers Aster, except she doesn’t realise Aster remembers so she doesn’t say anything. However, she freaks out because oh no, her friend and crush is the designated villainess. She becomes overprotective and attempts to keep Aster away from the other characters since she thinks her interactions with them could trigger doom flags. What she doesn’t realise is that her growing interest in Aster actually makes her (Amelia’s) betrothed suspicious of Aster. He thinks she must have used dark magic (which she does have) to bewitch Amelia, and so he wants to make everyone see Aster for the villainess he thinks she is so he can keep Amelia and her special white magic.

Also, because I want them to keep the same names and appearances in both lives, let’s just say rather than becoming the characters in the game they basically just take their roles and replace them.

It's really strange as it was Western Massachusetts and they're all going out there and another odd thing people think it might be Trump in his son and they're looking at the movie and it looks like them and Trump showed up afterwards and in a different format then JC and he's telling people off and he got beat up badly. But he was beat up badly for a different reason and this is going on right now and the butt brain opened his mouth again

I found out that it's related to the film The watchmen with several ties in Georgia and I looked at it and you can see them in the series it's who the people are that's important and the pseudo empire is not the forefront but they have many characters there and they are battling heavily and I believe my husband bja is not trying to run the program where my husband gets the firebird the max. Hey hey bja sees the idea and kind of gets it nothing else is working and we're fighting each other and he's sort of kind of starting to go along with it but my husband thinks something else might happen and it's Sandy Wong who will be executor thinking he might go to China with her and her people need protection that area is largely African-American and they get it and it's the beginning of a different phase but it's turned on by the max you want to ride to survive
