Hey if Hazel, Dev, and the gang play DnD, what do you think they would play as.... and how who would be the fortunate(or unfortunate) DM?

When I was 10, my older brother would play massive D&D campaigns in the living room. He tried teaching me the mechanics but it was too much and too boring for my small brain. Instead, I was far more fascinated with things like Warrior Cats.

Apparently Warrior Cats has a d&d game though. So. The kids would all play that instead!

Dev would eventually be roped into joining. Mainly because when you're sitting with a table of kids doing storytelling, you end up getting very invested, and very frustrated when they make the very wrong choices!!!

I remember going to aquarium a bunch of years ago and seeing those performances #I was absolutely AMAZED by orcas because as a kid I was kinda obsessed with them haha #watched a lot of documentaries. all about wild orcas #so shortly after I went to the aquarium I tried to look for their stuff on the internet. some recordings and photos and names of the animals #there were A LOT of people SCREAMING around that content. Telling everyone that those animals are abused and suffering #-and shouldn't be held captive. Calling the aquarium “the orca prison” and stuff #I remember how annoyed I was seeing them. Because the staff cheerfully told me that “see they live happy they have a lot of food and-#-and nothing to worry about. What else can they want?“#I was so pissed at those “crazy hysterical eco activists” because they were actively ruining such a fun place #Now when I know better I wish I could meet those people and thank them #they got what they were fighting for. well. mostly they did #Hunting orcas is illegal now thanks to them #and breeding stopped too #they refused to let their last surviving Orca free (she was caught. not born in captivity) but they stated they won't try to get more orcas #Every time I see something about wild orcas it's so amazing and every time I see what humans do to them it gets more horrible #With all that said. i like surge for many reasons but among others i like that shes a cockroach. she will not fucking die. starline basically ran her through death traps until she could just shrug off things that should, by all rights, kill or incapacitate her, and now he's dead and the world just has an unkillable electric freak running on pure spite

More thoughts because i'm obviously not done with Today

but like...ja'marr's been talking about wanting to be more of a Leader after getting this contract. hell, i would argue he was displaying a lot of leadership last season and even the season before that when joe went down! he's been known to get the guys in the right position on the field, tell them what route joe needs them to run (without joe having to say a word to him! btw!) and encourage and help them after the play is done and they're sitting on the bench together!

and now today, with the different twitter videos of ja'marr actually leading the WR drills, cheering on the younger guys, and!!! the biggest thing, leading the huddle, which he's never done for the whole team before! (he's done it with just the WRs plenty, but this is EVERY GUY on the team looking at and listening to him!) and you can SEE how visibly just like...giddy he is throughout the whole thing?? excited?? nervous?? but he does GREAT. all the guys (not just joe, which i was primarily focused on before for obvious reasons!) all of them looking at him with such fondness and joy as he does it!

so yeah, he's been wanting to be a leader, but he's also been NERVOUS about it too. in previous interviews he's talked about how it doesn't come naturally to him. how he can be more reserved and mostly has just wanted to let his play do the talking. and i mean we all remember that Adorable moment when joe tricked him about the coin toss before the titans game?? when he told him last minute that zac wanted him to do the talking (and then grinned to himself for ten seconds while ja'marr freaked out about it before telling him he was just kidding <3) so yeah, we can infer that making this step is something that DOES scare him a bit!

but, again, he did it!! he did well leading the drills, he did well leading the huddle!! he was scared, but he did it anyway (and isn't that how we all grow??) and i dunno maybe....in keeping with the theme of doing things he Really Really Wants to do but has been scared or hesitant about before, he looked at joe (who was clearly doing some combination of sweetly congratulating him and teasing him at the same time), and just said "fuck it" and hopped on over there and lifted him straight up in a huge bear hug 🥹

#and joe just LET him btw!!!#clearly enjoyed it. grinning like crazy!!#POSTING IT TO HIS PAGE!!#cleo pointed out (the QUEEN ugh love when she pops back up here lol) that ja'marr is going to be soooo embarrassed about that lol #joe with his simple Adoration for his friends. a thing he is always happy to actually be direct about. versus ja'marr's tendency to #let his insecurity get the better of him and try to take these purer sweeter moments back (honestly keeping with the theme of kia's post #from earlier this week too!)#but honestly i'm sure ja'marr. Complicated man that he is. is going to look at that post on joe's page #and be equal parts embarrassed but also pleased. thrilled to see joe's adoration plainly in front of him. impossible to second guess.#and the embarrassment won't stem from 'ugh i've come on too strong about joe he doesn't feel the same' like i think it has in the past #but rather from the other stuff we've talked about. how maybe sometimes he acts a little Off about guy friends and that's Not Allowed 🤨#but! like we've also talked about!! the pics of him and his gf are out there so who can Really question him!#(oh oh maybe that's another reason joe wanted this post up. he said take that gf! here's ja'marr with his hands all over ME!!!)#joe'marr #another Very Important day in their lore

Thinking about Dipper's paranoia, I think that should a Gravity Falls/Phineas and Ferb crossover exist, Dipper would actually hang out with Candace more, trying to bust the brothers (namely Phineas, who he thinks has some connection with Bill because triangle)

Mabel is moreso hanging out with the rest of the other backyard kids, and, because she is older than them, I think she plays into a "I'm so proud of my children" role whenever she hangs out with them.

I understand why it wasn't possible, but it's such a shame we couldn't get Jenny back for The Wish. She and Giles fighting a losing battle side by side and being hardened from it, but remaining each other's solace. Them piecing together the puzzle Cordelia presents to them and having faith in a world better than this, only for Anyanka to try and throw them by hinting at Jenny's death should they return. Giles faltering at the thought of losing her and Jenny, once again, sacrificing herself and destroying the necklace. The way she sees it: she'll either be dead by The Master's hand or by her own, and only one of those inevitabilities gives the man she loves a chance of survival. She kisses him as she plunges herself into the abyss, wanting the last thing she experiences to be his love.

Giles waking up the following morning, the pang in his heart he always feels whenever he remembers Jenny accompanied by a newfound feeling of emptiness, and he's not quite sure why.
