For the first question, I'm honestly not sure at all? In canon, obviously anything goes, but in my AU, for whatever reason I don't really see him with anyone.

At the lack of any concrete ideas I just decided to draw a rarepair, I've deadass only seen like 1-2 things for Dandy x Shelly so enjoy this I suppose:

Now when it comes to crackship/unpopular ships... I'm not super sure if it counts as an unpopular ship, but in my AU Shrimpo x Boxten is one of the few ships that actually becomes a thing.

If there's any hate towards the ship (and towards any Shrimpo x Anyone ships in general) it's definitely because in canon Shrimpo is a one-note abusive asshole. In my AU Shrimpo undergoes some heavy character development before the whole concept of a romantic relationship appears. Also she's a closeted trans woman and she ends up coming out in the Aftermath part of the AU hahahahah

As for the Enemies to Enemies duo dynamic... It's just gotta be Dandy and Vee. That flower and that robot were #1 and #2 Gardenview's Egotistical Fucking Asshole respectively and constantly fought for attention/power in the workplace.

Summary: Kody starts trying to use magic again after Bill's death. As you can imagine, this leads to a stay in the hospital.

Aiden sat bedside, the bright florescent lights of the room buzzing against his ears as he watched the steady rise and fall of Kody’s breathing. He laid on his side, facing away from Aiden, a thick blanket brought from home offering more comfort and protection than the flimsy hospital blanket laying over top of it.

The room was, for the most part, an eggshell-white; a vase of flowers sat by the window, a bouquet of white delphinium and shellflower winding around each other, and singular green mums woven into varying points.

“I know you’re awake.” Aiden spoke quietly, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the bed.

“Doesn’t matter, I’m going back to sleep.”

“That’s fine.” Aiden said, a subtle, sad smile tugging on his lips. “I want us to talk about something later, though. After y—”

“If it’s about magic, I’m not stopping.”

Aiden reached out slowly, his hand resting on Kody’s shoulder as he responded as softly as he could. “I know, but—“

“Then what’s there to talk about? That’s it, conversation over.” Kody muttered, rolling his arm to push Aiden’s hand away. He curled up into a tighter ball under the blankets, most of his face now hidden. “I’m not giving up. So.”

“I actually wasn’t going to tell you to give up, really. I know it’s important to you, and I don’t want you to lose that…” As much as I wish you would take your own health more seriously sometimes. He glanced at the spirit, hovering on the pillow above Kody’s head. I really wish you would.

Kody remained silent, no longer even acknowledging Aiden.

“I wanted us to talk about alternatives for you. Potion making, maybe? Something a little more accessible for you. It doesn’t have to be that, but… Something that won’t land you in the emergency room every other week would be nice, don’t you think?”

“Maybe.”

Kody’s response was short, his tone snippy. It was exactly what Aiden had expected from him, hooked up to machines and in the hospital, exhausted and uncomfortable.

“You’re going back to sleep, aren’t you?”

“Told you I was, so. Let me go back to sleep.” Kody huffed, poking his head out. “We can talk about it over food. Or something. When I wake back up. Like you said.”

I was hoping you would agree to that. Aiden’s smile shifted, no longer dragged down by as much grief and concern as it was before. “Alright. I’ll have Silver pick something up for you when you wake up again.”

i dont personally ship them but i know there are people who still do (and i found out abt rise of the brave tangled dragons stuff when i was young but i never got into it) so i'm just submitting this for fun and bc it's kinda cute lol

Worried and uptight x Laidback prankster. They compliment each other so well!!! Jack helps Hiccup relax and not die of a heart attack from worring too much, and Hiccup makes Jack take things seriously when needed. Prep x Jock!!!! Sun x moon!!!! Blessed be the ships from Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons (Rotbtd)

They're silly!! Hiccup's sarcasm and compassion pairs well with Jack's fun. That and Hiccup often tries to befriend everyone and Jack is incredibly lonely, they would be friends pretty quickly. Jack's whole origin involves the fact that nobody perceived or believed in him for a good 300 years before the events of the movie take place, but Hiccup if I remember correctly is pretty involved with folklore and legends and the like. He'd probably believe in Jack's existence which could lead to them meeting While Jack is kind of bitter in the beginning, we mostly just see him snarking the other spirits, since they're able to see him and just don't like him. The way he treats people and kids, however, is very different; he's all smiles and games even if they have no idea he's there! So I think Jack would be pretty friendly towards Hiccup, who had been previously bullied by literally everyone his age, which would be a VERY nice change of pace for him Idk. I think they would get along and maybe fall in love a little!!! They're just neat

FACTS ABOUT MY MARIO S/I (taken from my many posts & reblogs) :

Adult ( over 30! )

Is about 2 or 3 inches taller than Kamek ( about 5'3 )

Was a normal human that fell through a warp pipe one day. Also had amnesia, yet remembered all of the mario characters and places!

Knows magic because of Kamek

Is especially good at plant magic, turning invisible, electrifying myself and others etc.

Lived at Peach's castle until one day I rescued Junior, and he and Kamek wanted me to go see Bowser and tell him what happened! Which then led to him making me a minion for saving his son ( he considered THAT a reward XD ) And THAT'S how I ended up living at Bowser's castle!

Junior and the Koopalings see me as sort of an adopted mom/caretaker like kamek!

I took inspiration from Naval Piranha from Yoshi's Island for my s/i! ( AND from my old koopasona, who could use Piranha Plants! ) Hence the Piranha Plant motif!

Kam and I have been dating since 2011! We aren't planning on getting married (marriage retconned XD), but we do have promise rings! Kamek is practically married to his job, anyway (⁠^⁠～⁠^⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ

I help my magical genius in his library a lot of times. Like helping to organize it etc.

I'm often telling him to take breaks since he overworks himself, especially in the colder months... He and all the other Koopas are cold blooded and they slow down in fall and winter. :c

I have a special amulet that I always wear for protection! ( Kam made it, and he also wears it's twin! ) The amulet also doubles as a sort of communicator for when he and I are separated - we can like, talk through it! It also glows when I'm at full health, and slowly fades the weaker I get.

Another form of communication we use is Toadies! Kam will send them to me if he has a message - kind of like passenger pigeons!

I have a room in the castle that's just chock full of different plant species! And Kam often brings me rare seeds to add to the collection - the most recent was a Super Happy Tree seed! Now I can have fresh fruit whenever I want! :D

He also just generally gifts me magic things like crystals, pendants, bracelets etc.

Our ship name is Balmony Garden for several reasons: I'm a plant mage and he's a magikoopa ( a turtle wizard ), Balmony has many names including turtlebloom, turtle head, shellflower etc. And it's an herb often used in magical potions and stuff!

Kam and I are a sight to behold if we combine our magic in a fight! The Mario bros. would even have a tough time with us! :o However... I really dislike fighting them, since Luigi and I are friends... So I usually just pretend they escaped or defeated me in battle whenever I'm forced to fight them ^_^;
