#shenanigans in having a water type pokemon lmao

In your response to the ask about Scarnoa riding Koraidon, you mentioned Quaxly washing Scarnoa’s clothes with water gun to make sure they don’t stain. That kinda gives me Tony Stark/Dummy vibes from the first Iron Man movie, where Dummy has the fire extinguisher.

Does Quaxly ever smack Scarnoa with a water gun even when her clothes are fine?

YEAH, Subaru the Quaxly has done it too many times, that whenever she sees Scarnoa just slip and fall, her first instinct is to water gun (reminder, she saw her Trainer fall face first into the mud, of which Arven had to help her out of and boom, muddy duo). Which is gonna last a while, given the possible time it takes to go to the first gym and then the Rocky Titan. And then she evolves, AND WHOOPS>

Pokemon know more than four moves, fic wise, because it makes it funnier. So even sometimes, as a Quaquaval, OOPS, water gun on Scarnoa.

Literally at one point, I said "I better be wearing a bra under this shirt" because FOR SOME REASON, it started raining JUST as I was about to fight Iono. And then I proceeded to get my ass clapped because I made the mistake of turning her Bellibolt into a water type with Soak.

@broken-synchronicity gave me the luxury of a baby Eiscue I needed for this Bird-Only Nuzlocke, that ended up with Soak as an egg move.

And then I proceeded to SUFFER so long, cuz it knocked out my Wattrel with a crit after I JUST used up all of my X sp defense items. I lost a Wingull that I had to QUICKLY find a replacement for, and while it got off a super sonic, it wasn't enough to keep him alive. But it did let me heal up some mons.

Idk how my Corvisquire and Fletchinder survived, alongside my Flittle (she later died against that menace of a Greedent outside of Larry's gym that has fucking claimed LIVES in various other nuzlockes with Counter, tho in my case, it was a STAB Slam), but Eiscue hauled ass and I was just constantly healing her until Water Gun ran out of PP. It was hell. NEVER AGAIN.

too much fucking WATER. Spark is a more preferable move to deal with because it's a physical move. But the connection here is through water gun, because by the end of it, Subaru would've used water gun that many times (even though she is A PHYSICAL ATTACKER)

Anyways this is me just saying at that some point, Arven literally just wraps Scarnoa with his vest, because he has terrible luck when she's wearing the summer uniform, with the white shirt. (she wears a camisole, for she is like Rika - no tits, but a very GENDER appearance)

Anyways RIP Arven. Subaru is KINDA sorry, and Scarnoa is used to it. :V

If Stardew Valley were to have a box legendary I think it would be Cresselia. It's literally Lunar pokemon and represents the crescent moon so it being the patron legendary of Stardew Valley just makes a lot of sense to me. Also Cresselia is underrated NSNDN.

Maybe there would be a secret special encounter for Darkrai. (the other half of it and Cresselia's duo but is a mythical for some reason?)

Also the Lunar wing would be very neat item to have in-game ANSNDND.

If it were to exist within the mod I imagine the farmer would be like "oooo shiny feather. Maybe it's a pokemon feather? Emmet/Ingo would probably like it :D" so then they make it into a necklace, or maybe just give it to one of them outright without knowing what it is. So Emmet/Ingo sees it and just starts freaking the hell out cause their crush/friend just gave them a piece of a literal legendary pokemon meanwhile the farmer is just....clueless NSNDND.

Now onto some of the other characters.

As basically the resident nurse joy of Pelican Town I think Harvey would have some pokemon common in the medical field. Though, pokemon like Chansey and Audino don't really fit his whole "whiskey neat, coffee black, bed at three"/ref vibes so I thought Indeedee would be best NSNDNND.

I also decided to give some pokemon to the characters mentioned within my ask.

Willy is very fond of water types, clearly NSNS. Specifically fish pokemon like Lanturn, Seaking, Whiscash, Wishiwashi, or Dondozo. (Though his actual team probably has a good chunk of pokemon that are still water type just not fish lmao) The crowning jewel of his collection is a shiny Magikarp he fished up. Maybe one day it will evolve, but for now it just swims around the docks next to his house entertaining anyone that visits.

He also has a Bibarel. (which I imagine is the grown up version of that one Bidoof that snuck into Pelican Town) It acts more like an overgrown housecat than a battle ready pokemon but it is incredibly bulky so ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯.

Morris also has a few pokemon of his own. Most of which he keeps at home. But his main two he's seen with is a Gimmighoul and a Gumshoos. (IDK he just has Gumshoos vibes to me NSNDNND) They run around Joja pickpocketing people's gold cause Morris is just a dick like that.

"It's Wizard time mother fucker, FIREBALL-"/ref

Wizard likes psychic types, but I like to think he also has a fondness for fairy types too. Also, most of em has at least one strong fire type move just so he has an excuse to yell "fireball" and blast something NSND. His Malamar is named Illithid (a wack squid monster guy from DnD lol)

Sandy likes rock types, given that she lives in a desert it's probably the only type of pokemon she sees on the daily lol. She also has a key stone on her earring. With how colorful a keystone is when compared to sand I think she would be the most likely to find one there. Idk exactly if she'd mega evolve an Aerodactyl or a Tyranitar, if any pokemon at all. But I think she'd carry it around regardless. It's pretty :]

Also she has a shiny Rockruff. I don't rly have an explanation for that one I think it just fits the vibe lol.

And now, shenanigans.

Emmet then proceeds to grab the child and just.... speed walk away HSBBDBDJJR.

That's all I have for now, I'll probably throw some other pokemon at the bachelorettes and other bachelors another time but this alone took a solid week due to finals 😭/lh

Been thinking of watching darkwing duck because it seems cool from the posts I've seen on your blog but I was wondering something, is he an actual hero or an actor? I only know very little from the ducktales reboot and I think the reboot implied it was all a show but I was wondering if that's true or not :P

the ducktales reboot wanted darkwing to make sense in the world they set up and they made the exceptionally creative ITS A TV SHOW IN THIS UNIVERSE idea to bring it in without having to redo everything

i havent seen the new ducktales yet (or the old one THEYRE BOTH ON MY LIST) howeVER a friend showed me the NEGA TWIST ep and from what i can tell ducktales 2017 has the characters written a bit more realistically and less “toony” than the original series

I see you like Kabu, and I was hoping to request Reader x Kabu (HC or Drabble, whichever is easiest), where Reader works at Nessa's Gym but always seems to show up to cheer Kabu on during his challengers. He notices and there's some mutual attraction? I hope this is doable, and not too specific. Thank you!

Sorry about the pauses in between! I have my college final this week so I've been focusing on that! And when I write your requests, I'm really strict on how things sound, I'm a bit of a perfectionist so it takes me time.

Nessa had hired you at her Gym because you showed a lot of promise as a trainer. You seemed to work well with all types of pokemon but she mainly had you using water types because that's her theme. You were one of the last trainers that challengers had to battle and not many made it past you if you were being honest, and this was you going "easy" on them since it's only the second Gym challengers go to.

Nessa's trainers commonly go to watch her battle and support the very woman that took them into her gym. Except you. You left the Gym right after your work was done and always took a Flying Taxi to Motostoke. Nessa noticed but the reason was clear enough for her so she never stopped you or asked questions.

It took Kabu a bit before he noticed the same person shouting at the top of their lungs "Centiskorch Gigantamax" at the same time he did. You came to majority of his matches to support him but not only that, Kabu was, in all honesty, a silver fox. He battles amazingly and he is a huge supporter of the challengers that attempt his Gym, he is a encouraging person.

You could barely talk to him though and you've met him a few times through Nessa. At first he thought you were afraid of him but since you two were constantly seeking each others attention, it seemed unlikely after a while.

"Hello, (Name)," He greeted you when he saw you outside the stadium. It was after a match so he invited you back inside to talk.

"I'm surprised you remember my name." You hadn't talked to him much after introducing yourself. It felt nice to know he still recalled.

"I doubt I could forget even if I wanted to," He replied. You didn't know how to respond to that aside from sheepish laughter.

"You battled great as usual!" You stuttered a change of topic, almost yelling in your nervousness. Now this, this does spark joy. Kabu was amused by your reaction and found it endearing. He found himself wanting to talk to you more and tell you things that make you feel as shy as you did now.

You always looked forward to going to Motostoke almost as much as he looked forward to seeing you at his stadium. Nessa enjoyed the cute little shenanigans you pulled and was happy that someone liked Kabu. She was even happier that it was you of all people, she knew you both fancied each other. It clear as day in her eyes, now it was just you two that needed to figure it out.

After that short encounter, he made an effort to find you after his matches. Sometimes he didn't even have to because you went to find him to tell him how great the match was. He really liked that, he loved that. He has started looking up at you right before Gigantamaxing his Pokemon, so he knows you're both saying it together. It's cute.

He went to find you after he came out victorious in a match. You were already waiting for him and he couldn't help himself, he grabbed your hand as if he's been doing it since forever. You didn't say anything, allowing yourself to be pulled away by Kabu who refused to glance back at you. He felt just as flushed over what he did as you did but for him it was definitely a good decision.

"Did you enjoy the match today?" He asked, slowing his pace. You looked down at his hand in yours for a moment or two before adjusting your hand to hold his back properly.

"I enjoy all of your matches, you should know that." You grin and he smiles back in response. You two walked together for a while and this where both of you realized there was mutual attraction. How to bring it up was beyond them.

You were back at Nessa's Gym, wrapping up your responsibilities so that you could take a taxi to Motostoke.

"You going to see your boyfriend?" You were startled by her sudden appearance, even more so by her question.

"I don't have one."

"Oh sorry, let me be more specific," She clears her throat. "You going to see your boyfriend Kabu, the fire type Gym Leader, and the (Name)'s type Gym Leader?" She laughed when you gave her a side-eyed glare with your cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

"Is it wrong of me to be attracted to him?" Nessa shook her head instantly at your question.

"Of course not! Give him a day or two, alright? He will tell you he is attracted to you as well." Nessa had a thought and if it worked out how her head was playing it out then there was going to be a new couple by the end of the week.

You were back in Motostoke waiting for Kabu to come out and greet you as he always did. When he saw you, he jogged towards you with an expression that worried you. It was as if he had bad news to tell you but he held your hands and gave you a heartfelt apology. Had Nessa told him? She wouldn't. This was slowly becoming odd so you tried to gently slide your hands out of his but his hold tightened.

"Would you allow me to take you out for dinner?" You stared blankly at him, blinking at him in amazement. A Meowth's grin gradually formed on your lips and you nodded.

"I'd love to." He still appeared to be bothered by something, he was glad you said yes but there was something in the back of his mind.

"I'm not sure you'll get your job back."

"What are you talking about?"

He explained to you that Nessa told him she had fired you. If he didn't ask you out then you wouldn't get your job back. You chuckled as you shook your head.

"I still have my job don't worry. I wish you'd done it on your own free will but nevertheless, I'll go to dinner with you." You shook your head again, relieved by what played out. "I thought you apologized because Nessa told you and you didn't want to be with me."

"Oh," His short and airy laugh made your heart skip a beat. "I'm sorry it gave you that impression, the dinner as an apology as well?"

Since your hands were still in his, you pulled him downward to introduce your lips to his in a sweet kiss.

"The dinner is a date, no need to apologize."

"What... what was..." He cleared his throat, not used to being flustered in any way. You drank water while you waited for him to get his words together. "I want to kiss you again."

His blunt sentence almost made you spit your water. He wanted to cause that though, you could see it in his sly grin. Clearly this man had tricks up his sleeve, no one is that stoic.

"Dinner tomorrow evening at Seven o' clock?" You were flabbergasted. "And perhaps a towel while you're here?"

"I got my eyes on you, Kabu."

"I would hope so."
