about that last post. i looked up youssra rose garrington and she is not a children's advocate she's an alt right transphobe. but i do believe the money is actually going to the children so i still think donating is the right thing? i feel afraid giving my money to someone like this but the org she is partnering with seems decent (heroic hearts, has 85% and three stars on charity navigator) the children's safety is most important but i feel fearful about someone posting climate denial conspiracies handling the money. i don't understand why that person talked about her like she's reputable. (they also linked to the wrong instagram) i don't imagine she would take or misuse the money though right because she's working with an organization to get the kids to safety so people would definitely know. some proof under the cut
Admittedly, I don't know much about the Lanterns beyond knowing I don't like Hal and Jessica should be a yellow one and rebuild the Yellow Lantern Corps to its former glory, but I shall try!
Since Simon was a street racer, he'll often take Sherri out on wild nighttime drives. They have done their drives in almost every city, and it is a sort of romantic bucket list for them.
Sherri in turn will take him out on the backroads in the south, because riding around on the rough terrain in a jeep or truck is the life and I feel like Simon would get a special kick out of it.
Sherri's lantern uniform absolutely has a cowboy hat, and Simon will often steal it to mess with her. The jokes on him, because Sherri finds him immensely attractive in it.
Simon is absolutely horrible at riding horses, and Sherri finds it absolutely hilarious. The foals like him though, and there was a particular adventure where one nearly ate his ring.
There is no bond stronger than between heroes who are willing to pull out a glock to get the job done.
