Ardhanareeshvara is a combination of three words “Ardha,” “Nari,” and “Ishwara” means “half,” “woman,” and “lord,” respectively, which when combined means the lord whose half is a woman. It is believed that the God is Lord Shiva and the woman part is his consort Goddess Parvati or Shakti. Wishing u all a very happy advanced Shivratri may we all be blessed with divine grace and blessings of Lord Shiva and Parvati (Shakti). For spiritual upliftment. For the fulfillment of all the wishes. For peace, prosperity, protection & happiness. ################# #avgartspot #shivratri #shivoham #sarvamshivamayam #shivaart #bolenath #hinduoccasion #shambosankara #indianartists #indianfashion #artfashion #digitalart #lovelive #shivasakthi #procreateart #procreatetutorial #procreatedrawing #selflearning #colors #vibes #spirituality (at Kedarnath) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cow8-ZrPo-5/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Bhuvaneshvari (Bhuvaneshwari; Sanskrit: भुवनेश्वरी, Kannada: ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ IAST: Bhuvaneśvarī) is the fourth amongst the ten Mahavidya or Shivasakthi goddesses in Hinduism, and an aspect of Devi as elements of the physical cosmos in giving shape to the creation of the World.

Note
Are there any gods or goddesses trying to get in touch? ( RS ♈ ) the name i go by starts with a J though. Thank you!!
Hi love! I pulled a deity card for you, and you got Bhuvaneswari, Hindu Goddess of creation and wisdom. She is the fourth amongst the ten Mahavidya (or Shivasakthi) goddesses in Hinduism, and an aspect of Devi as elements of the physical cosmos in giving shape to the creation of the World. Hindu deities are sometimes connected to each other, or there is one deity as one aspect of a whole being. Like a fusion. I hope this helps!

Parvati (Sanskrit: पार्वती, IAST: Pārvatī), Uma (Sanskrit: उमा, IAST: Umā) or Gauri (Sanskrit: गौरी, IAST: Gaurī) is the Hindu goddess of fertility, love, beauty, marriage, children, and devotion; as well as of divine strength and power. Known by many other names, she is the gentle and nurturing aspect of the Supreme Hindu goddess Adi Parashakti (Shivasakthi) and one of the central deities of the Goddess-oriented Shakta sect. She is the Mother goddess in Hinduism, and attributes and aspects.

. Tripura Sundari , or Lalita Maha Tripura Sundari is a Hindu goddess and one of the ten Mahavidyas or Shivasakthi. She is the Shakti/consort of SadaShiva, the Prakriti to his Purusha. Lalita manifests as Goddess Sati, Goddess Parvati, Goddess Durga, Goddess Mahakali and all their incarnations, as showcased in Shakta literature. Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi is considered to be the most potent incarnation of Adi Parashakti or simply Her saguna roopa. She, along with SadaShiva is responsible for the Pancha-Krityas - Sristi or creation, Sthithi or protection, Samhara or destruction, Thirodhana or concealment of the world in Maya and Anugraha or final liberation . She is best known as the Devi glorified in the Lalita Sahasranama and as the subject of the Lalitopakhyanam (story of the goddess Lalita) in Hinduism. . According to the Srikula tradition in Shaktism, Tripura Sundari is the foremost of the Mahavidyas and the highest aspect of Goddess Adi Parashakti. The Tripura Upanishad places her as the ultimate Shakti (energy, power) of the universe. She is described as the supreme consciousness, ruling from above Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra and Ishwara. Tripurasundari is said to sit on SadaShiva's lap in his form as Kāmeśvara, the "Lord of Desire". Tripura Sundari is also the primary goddess associated with the Shakta Tantric tradition known as Sri Vidya. . . . #happy #god #hindu #worship #ganesha #Hongkong #mahadeva #shiva #meditation #canada #aum #om #beauty #kerala #usa #spirituality #yogi #pic #energy #island #yoga #spiritualawakening #india #boy #harharmahadev #father #smile #followme #love #Krishna (at Trident Hyderabad) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8qY_8-HGTl/?igshid=tmclqd6oeuun

Maha Shivarathri - the Universal Pati-Patni Day
Maha Shivarathri – the Universal Pati-Patni Day
Let me repost an old article and a presentation named ShivaSakthi created by me marking the relevance of this day. These days, we blindly follow several different types of days, for eg: Valentines day, mothers day, fathers day, friendship day, no-smoking day and the list goes on and on. When we look at it Shivarathri is the truly traditional family day or Pati-Patni day, as I term it. Because,…
