Watching Shuto Kousoku Trial made me realize I like when Japanese tuners put a lot of cool looking sponsor stickers on their cars but don’t go wild with them, and there’s companies like YOURS and ones I’ve never heard of with their name written in Brush Script Standard

Also the 4th movie has a white FC3S driver who crashes and dies, what the fuck was with the directors and crashing FCs all the time

That scene in Shuto Kousoku Trial 5 where the guy crashes his FC3S, it rolls over while skidding like 50 feet, and he’s screaming while bleeding from his head (although the “AAAAAAHHHHH!!” screaming sounds like they pulled it from the previous movie where a guy crashes a 180SX and dies) is probably gonna traumatize me for life because 1) that’s a real car crash they staged, 2) the actor may have actually been injured and 3) they totaled an FC3S for that scene

The entire franchise from the second movie onward is like one of those old “scare kids straight” precautionary films except it has Tsuchiya telling guys to stop street racing and take it to the track instead

This is probably the best Shuto Kousoku movie because it actually shows a crash and has an RX-7 as the title character’s car instead of a GT-R
