Prince Lu Ten, Admiral Zhao, and Lieutenant Jee were all friends when they were younger (and before Lu Ten died). They dared each other to grow out hideous side burns and made a bet that the first one to shave them had to do something. None of them remember what this “something” is, but none are willing to give up.
