Yo Sidemen fans please help me out does this video sound familiar?

I believe it was a moresidemen video, probably on the living room set, where they discuss the charity match. This was before the match came out, obviously, but at one point Ethan mentions how he might have to leave early because it’s so close to Faith’s due date.

Tired evenings (Tobi Brown x Reader)

Summary: you were filming a Christmas cook off with the Sidemen and your boyfriend Tobi is taking care of everyone. After you two head home he helps you to bed and cuddles with you.

You were filming a new Christmas cook off for the Sidemen channel and you were supposed to prepare different kinds of Christmas dishes. You got put into a team with your boyfriend Tobi, and Vik and Harry.  

The cook off started off strong and you felt like you had a very good team. You had a clear vision and you felt like the opposing team didn’t know how to cook as well. Not a lot of time had gone by though until Harry had already gotten a head start in opening the signature XIX vodka bottle and pouring himself a shot. Little time after he offered you and Vik glasses of god knows what he had put into a cocktail and you could already guess by the smell of it that you would have a headache tomorrow. 

Taking the glass, Vik, Harry, and you tasted the liquid. ‘Ooh that is vile’ you said making a face. ‘Harryyy’ Vik whined at the taste of the monstrosity. As time passed and more drinks went down things started going wrong. Your team was very behind on time as the majority of it was drunk and spent more time laughing and drinking rather than preparing the food. Tobi was acting as you and Vik’s sober parent since you two seemed to have the hardest time staying level-headed. At one point Vik was upset about messing up with the vegetables and Tobi immediately gave him a quick hug and reassurance. You saw how your boyfriend took care of his best friend and couldn't help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

Finally your team had the turkey ready to go in the oven after Harry’s hassle with trying to roast it on the pan. While trying to put the turkey in Harry touched the burning hot oven rack and you collectively decided not to let him near the oven anymore. You took Harry's job with the turkey and as you had put it in you turned around feeling proud of yourself for not making the same mistake. With a wide smile and narrow eyes you looked at Tobi who had been watching. He chuckled and took you into a small hug 'Harry, this is what you look like when you’re waved' he said pointing at you, making everyone laugh.

You finished filming and somehow after all of that you still won the competition. You felt proud and happy but your body had very little energy. Since it was getting very late you said bye to all your friends and took Tobis hand to head home together. 

You finally got home Tobis hand hanging around your shoulder keeping you balanced. You sat down on the stool next to the shoe rack, exhausted. You were barely staying awake while looking at your beautiful boyfriend putting his jacket on a hanger and taking off his shoes. Ethan looked at his phone and told you “Faith has just texted me and said that there isn’t much people there now. Only close friends and family.” You asked “really?” He nodded and showed a little video Faith made showing the people there. You said “I can deal with that.” You smiled more now.

The boys all gave you a hug each and a kiss on your forehead, a thing they have always down for you, no matter if their in a relationship or not.

You walked back in with the boys and you all enjoyed the rest of the party. The boys enjoyed it way more as there was less people and more people that they knew well. Which made your night a lot better than before. You were glad you had them as friends. The boys always have your back no matter the circumstances. They love you and you loved them.

I think the sidemen did pretty well with their streaming stuff. I remember when they first launched it and josh said on twitch (or youtube..?) that they weren't paywalling any existing content. Any content that was free before side+ is free afterwards and they haven't slacked in quality or quantity.

Also I think the sidemen have managed to make it worth it beyond getting more content and the censored stuff. Members get other benefits like having side+ members get priority tickets for their events like the charity match and jjs misfits events, giveaways and vouchers for their clothing/xix alcohol/sides eats/cereal/trading cards, and they get members involved in polls & game shows in their special series, and bring them in for actual sidemen sunday videos.

i think sidemen are one of the few youtubers who have executed the streaming thing well

Sidemen fans on Reddit are really something else.

First I saw a bunch of complaints about this past Sidemen Sunday’s title (Sidemen $100,000 hot vs cold mukbang). Literally just the fucking title. They were saying that it’s too pandering and full of keywords. It’s literally how they’ve titled almost every video since 2018, if you look at the other versus and mukbang videos you’ll see they’re titled the same way, they just combined the two for this video.

And I just saw complaints about the latest reacts (athletes caught cheating). Apparently they’ve reacted to a similar video before. I guess they’re supposed to know every video they’ve ever reacted to, and which Sidemen reacted to it, and never have those Sidemen react to a similar video ever again. There’s more than one ‘athletes caught cheating’ video, and Simon and Tobi are allowed to react to more than one (I only use them bc they were in both reacts videos).

It’s just really fucking annoying to see how ungrateful and spoiled these so called “fans” are. I’ve also made this point a few times on Reddit in the comments of those posts, but I feel like no one there cares.
