not to be dramatic but it really is beginning to feel like there isn’t a single safe place on the internet for trans people anymore. 2 years ago i could post something about trans pride and have nothing but positivity in my notes but this year i end up fending off terfs for the crime of a post where i called a fictional character trans getting more than 5k. tumblr used to be a safe haven from this shit. it’s disturbing to see the flood of terfs to this website and the way staff openly refuses to do anything about them. there’s only so much i can do when half the fucking userbase wants me dead. its tiring & i wish staff would fucking do better
