The other day I was talking to my therapist, and briefly brought up how I feel like an animal

She told me not to “give into the urges” (me expressing this part of me) because it’s “a form of dissociation and depersonalization”

But know what? Since I’ve started expressing my theriantrophy, I’m the happiest I’ve been in such a long time. And I think really that’s all that matters. If feeling like a puppy and allowing myself to express myself is “dissociation” then so be it. I’ve made connections with people like me and I finally feel like I have a community and a place to belong

So I’m gonna keep being a silly little puppy cuz it makes me happy. End of story
