     She notices the redhead sitting on a fallen tree, head slightly tilted back, watching the sky. Not many people wander at night, but perhaps, he was restless and couldn’t sleep. Whatever the reason, the deity decided to gently land on the other’s head, her eyes also gazing up at the stars. It was always calming and peaceful to stargaze.

Ariana was a little disappointed that she was unable to take Silver out for a birthday dinner. Not that she wasn't able to make any reservations, no, but because Silver's friends took him out to a birthday lunch. That left the young man still feeling not that hungry even when dinnertime rolled around. Instead they opted for a simple evening coffee and dessert at a local café.

Between the holiday crowd and the blaring Christmas music it was far too noisy inside. This left them to take their order outside. With warm coats over their shoulders, hot drinks in their hands, and outdoor heaters radiating warmth next to them the cold was bearable.

Once they were comfortable Ariana procured a gift box from her purse and set it on the table in front of Silver. Within it was a box of perfume. A cool and crisp unisex fragrance, inspired by mountains, glaciers and ranch-lands. The scent of mountain air, grass, and an open campfire with a hint of spice. A scent of winter. She felt like that fitted him more than the citrus forward aquatic scents that were popular with sporty men's colonge, those were more like an ocean breeze in summer. Ariana also didn't want to get him a cologne with notes of leather or cigar smoke that reminded her of Giovanni.

"Merry Christmas, Silver~" Ariana crooned happily. "I hope it suits you."

"Oh and," she added as she pulled out an envelope and handed it to him, "Happy Birthday of course!"

Within the envelope was a wintry themed birthday card, signed by Ariana, as well as a gift card to a book store.

"I wanted to buy you some books, but I don't know what you prefer to read these days." She took a sip of her coffee. "Perhaps after we're done here we could go and pick something out together? You could tell me about your favorite authors."

…did this pineapple headed Unovan tourist really believe he’d accept money like this knowing he was law enforcement? While we wasn’t sure if he really was Interpol, G-men or some mediocre detective with connections, Silver did know how to avoid incriminating situations with undercover cops.

                     “This is so shady at this point I can’t help but point out how cliche’ it is. Throwing money around while talking ambiguously like that isn’t the image of a law enforcement agent who keeps his nose clean. If you wanted me to teach you some of my techniques you’ll need more than just a few wads of cash to convince me. Unlike most you come across, I’m not easily bought.”

Plus this guy had no idea how little faith and trust he had in this not being a sting operation of sorts. The red headed tapped his foot and looked at the tourist with an expectant look.

                      “If all I wanted was money we wouldn’t be here talking since I’d be working. You can’t give me tech so what else do you have to bring to the table, Tourist-chan?”

Chan? Damn he must really be an inconvenience if he’s being called that. Though he definitely had a good point. Nate made the mistake of showing his cards early, while Silver was still a goddamn mystery. All he knew was that somehow he knew Lance and Gold, and was likely operating under his own rules. Unfortunately, Nate wound up having to give up the ace in his sleeve, and cash was the easiest thing to try. Of course that would fail too though; that seemed to be his luck with this sort of thing. Still, this guy seemed to know his worth, and the agent had to respect that.

“Well if you’re worried about this being a setup, then feel free ta have yer pokemon check around.” He lets out a small sigh crossing his arms as he shifts his weight towards one leg. “No one knows about this from my end.” He seemed calm, but his mind was frantically searching for something to add besides cash. Even if he was a prodigy, he was young and lacked experience compared to other agents, whereas Silver had a few years on him at least in age and acted like he had more than enough experience.

Still, Nate had to think of something surely there was something he had of interest... wait. “From our first glance of an encounter, it seems like you and me have similar targets, wouldn’t ya say? Not sure what your motives are, but I think you’d appreciate some extra intel.” The Unovan’s eyes were checking to see any change in Silver’s reaction, if there was any. “I know a few contacts that might be useful to you, and I do work for Interpol. Intel is our bread and butter.”

“So... a bit of intel, a bit of this --” the agent raised up the wad of cash still in his hand “-- and I’ll make sure that me and at least a few other people on my side give you a bit of breathing room. Does that sound like a better deal?”

A loud cry emerged from the water, as well as a soft song to follow. The longer the song was sung, the more something was coming up to the surface. With a splash, the giant Legendary burst from the depths and extended his wings, large eyes staring down at the human. What was this? He carried something that was a part of him?

Lugia has appeared!

“Only the best. There’s this really expensive kind.” She pulls out the name of it on her phone, showing Silver. “That’s what I buy her, never the cheap food that normal people get. She’s special.”

She had noticed that someone seemed to need a bit of help. Mainly because they looked lost, but she could have mistaken that for confusion as well. It wasn’t like it would be too much of as bother, honestly. She helped people out all the time. Maybe she would run late for dinner when it would be sent to her room, but she knew that Beauti could handle it if anything went wrong. 

She was careful to approach, knowing full well what an unsuspecting person is capable of when startled. And she wasn’t trying to end up in the hospital, or anything. Dianne was actually used to having at least one Pokemon around, so it felt a bit nerve-wracking.

“Ah, excuse me...” Her head barely tilted to the side, her hands overtop one another in front of her body. “I couldn’t help but notice, is there something wrong?” Again, she could be completely off, given the distance she noticed it, but she was pretty sure there was some sort of an issue.

((In the rare cases Roxie tries to initiate, she’ll just flat-out ask people if they want to fuck. Physically? She doesn’t do much, but on occasion, she will just flat out be naked and see if they get the hint.))
