He normally made a habit wearing his gloves even when he slept, in case of the off-chance that a nightmare occurred. He was exhausted prior, too much so that he had forgotten. And he didn't dare release the pillow yet.

Hearing Genji's gentle, calm words and seeing his eyes gaze into his own did seem to help, the shaking that his body was prior slowly started to fade. As well as the sparks of electricity from his hands. Slowly, he took deep breaths and exhaled as he's practiced time and time again. He nearly could of short-circuited him.

"G-Genji, I...I could of harmed you.." He whispered, fearing of raising his voice in case the nightmare still had its clutches around him. Thankfully, he seemed to be relaxing enough that his grip finally loosened, to the point he would release and let the pillow fall. Satoshi wanted to cling onto him the most but, feared himself right now. Anything could set him off in this state.

"I...I didn't wake you, did I?"

Genji was no stranger to night terrors. Feelings of helplessness with no way out, restricted and trapped. The same scene replaying over and over again like an endless torture. It was suffocating.

Thankfully, he's been plagued by such nightmares far lesser these days. Seeing Satoshi struggling with what he assumed was something similar, he couldn't bear to let it continue on. He called his name - once, thrice. And while he's aware of the risks, it did not stop him from placing a hand on his shoulder out of concern, giving a gentle shake.

Then their eyes met, and the worry on his face faded just slightly. "I'm here," Genji assured, not pulling back, appearing calm as he attempted to soothe. He wanted to be here for him, to help in any way he possibly could. To let Satoshi know that he was not alone in this.

"Breathe. You are safe."

Satoshi had already been aware that he had nightmares. He's always had them as far back as he could remember, worse so as he grew older. The more the nightmares occurred, however, the less that the young man could sleep.

It was worse when he couldn't wake from a nightmare itself.

He had been tossing and turning under his blanket for a few moments and clutching tightly to his pillow, which lessened the sparks forming from his hands. But when he felt someone touch him, shake him even, he struggled. Barely able to breath.

It wasn't till his bright, silver eyes shot opened and were shaking, that he slowly started coming to, still clutching the pillow like it was a lifeline. Beads of sweat rolled down his face as he slowly turned his head and tried to sit up, only to stare like a deer in headlights at the cyborg. Dear gods, had he not been holding his pillow like he was? He could of shocked him by accident.

"G-Genji..?" He softly whispered and was still shaking from the after effects, fearing of releasing his pillow. He didn't dare want to shock the other in his state of mind.

He wouldn't blame him if he was wary about the gift, since many Omnics he's come across acted similar before. His gloved hands were a bit shaky as he pulled them back, silver eyes perking up at the mention of warmth and refreshments.

He had been traveling for quite sometime and planned to come to the monastery. Maybe to learn what could ease his mind and heart.

"I..do appreciate it. My apologies..i..if the gift is not the greatest." It was shoddy at best, in his own opinion, but he made do with what he had on hand and around him. He tried making an Omnic with it, he tried.
