when i first replayed soma all the way through recently i had to start over in safe mode because tau/jin yoshida was just TOO SCARY for me to progress because i am a baby 😖

in safe mode he just followed me around gurgling and screeching and walking his lopsided ass walk. he's kind of a cutie when he's not terrifying me 💀

unfortunately i dont think poor simon would find him any more endearing than when he's actively trying to kill him 😂

You think it ever came up in conversation between Catherine and Simon how they made it onto the ARK last second? And simon will be simon and say something like "yeah im glad that transfer worked, would suck if i was stuck down there."

And Catherine is just left with the choice to tell Simon again that it wasnt a transfer, it was a copy. To let him know he left another version of himself all alone in the depths of the ocean, that he is just another duplicate.

Or does he come to the realisation on his own eventually? Once he has time to think, and how would he deal with that?
